Aegis is a world of Magic, Classes, Levels, and The System. It is a world shared by five races, though originally only three called Aegis their home: The Vampires, Humans, and Lycanthropes. The Angels and Demons both came to Aegis later after what history deems the Calamity, in which their home world was either destroyed or pushed them out after the eternal conflict grew to be too much. Neither race will give the full details of how they ended up on Aegis, and since they''''ve arrived their war has fizzled into more of an open hatred of each other will little in the way of active large scale conflict.
