It has been said that we know more about the universe, space, the surface of the moon, and even how the brain works than we do our own oceans. Whatever the comparison, the main sentiment is still valid, we know very little about the dark depths that make up over 70% of the world''''s surface. We have traversed our continents and learned many of its secrets. Looked into our history, both from a genetic standpoint and a societal one. Made advancements in technology by leaps and bounds, hoping to one day conquer the stars. And yet, even after all of these great accomplishments, 95% of the world''''s ocean remains alluded in mystery.
