CHAPTER 41

  Chapter 41

Komand’r watched Barbara writhe on the floor in a small puddle of her own urine, it had taken far longer for her to lose control than Komand’r had expected, she had fought to keep control of her body, keeping her breathing slow and steady to keep her heart rate low and slow the toxin moving through her veins, but eventually her body betrayed her and she collapsed to the floor in excruciating pain,

“Princess” A Citadel general named Friar had entered the room, he stood at almost 9 feet tall, he had ashen gray skin and long, thin, muscular limbs,

“General” Komand’r answered, prompting him to continue,

“Once you have finished with the earth girl I must ask you hand her over to us, as a trophy of sorts” Komand’r scoffed,

“Is the entire earth not enough?” She asked,

“I believe it would raise the troupe's spirits to have a spoil they can partake in” The general said, Komand’r rolled her eyes,

“No, you can’t” Kori cried from floor beside Barbara, Komand’r stomped over and leaned down in front of her,

“Why can’t I? I can do whatever I want to, I wasn’t even gonna do it, it would be pointless after you’re dead, but you couldn’t keep your stupid mouth shut” She screamed in her face,

“This won’t change anything, none of this will fix anything” kori said her breathing still heavy, Komand’r stomped her foot,

“Shut up, if you had done something then there wouldn’t be anything to fix, you should have stopped it” She yelled,

“You’re right, you needed and I wasn’t there, you needed your big sister and I was too caught up in my own life to that you were hurting, that you were being hurt, and I’m so sorry, if mom and dad knew then they should have done something, they should have stopped it, they should have protected you” Kori said, tears running down her face, Komand’r shook her head violently,

“No you don’t care about me, you knew, and you chose not to help me” She cried, Kori shook her head,

“Komi, I didn’t know, I promise, I do care about you, I love you, but I was a child, I had never experienced anything like that, never considered doing something like that, if I had known I wouldn’t have let have let it continue” Komand’r had turned away, her hands pressed to her temples, she was sniffing loudly, Kori reached out for her sister,

“Princess she is obviously lying to you, she will say anything for you to spare her” Friar said, his voice calm and steady,

“Shut up, stop talking, I need to think” Komand’rs said, her voice breaking,

“Komi,” Kori said softly, “Please?” Komand’r turned back to face them, she looked completely drained,

“Call off the assault” She ordered half heartedly, General Friar shook his head,

“I told Olleth this would happen, but she was so certain your hatred was enough, we will be taking control earth,” He said, motioning for 2 large soldiers to surround her, Komand’r raised her hands out towards them, her palms sparked blue and flames burst into the air towards them, they instinctively stepped away from the hot, bright blue flame.

A door behind the general slid open and another soldier rushed through,

“Airship 2 just took critical damage and is going down” He said,

  “What happened?” General Friar asked,

“An intruder was reported on board, we think she must have planted explosives in the engine room” The soldier explained before being cut off by a bright orange flame between him and the general, the both looked over to see Kori standing, leaning on 1 of the consoles, her hand outstretched with her palm glowing bright orange, the 4 citadel members looked between the 2 Tamaranean princesses, the standstill was cut short when the airship was struck by a surface to air missile.
