Chapter 30

  Barbara was separated from Kori, she was forced down tight, dark corridors by 2 large, gorilla like soldiers, they took her to a dimly lit cell where they took her utility belt, combat boots, mask, jacket body armor, before emptying the pockets of her combat pants, leaving her in her undershirt and empty combat pants,

  “The princess demands your presence, move” 1 of the soldiers demanded, her hands were chained together and she was shoved back through the twisting pathways.

  Kommand’r watched as Metropolis burned below, she turned to Kori, who was standing between 2 Citadel soldiers,

  “We’re gonna bring your friend in here, that way you won’t try anything stupid” She said,

  “Komi, please” Kori was cut off by her sisters hand across her face,

  “Don’t call me that, I am the ruler of Tamaran, and you will show me respect” Komand’r whined, stomping her foot,

  “You betrayed our people to become ruler” Kori answered back,

  “No, I betrayed your people, people who despised me from birth” Komand’r yelled, her voice cracking, she turned away, her face red, she wiped at her eyes, when she turned back she looked past Kori, “Looks like our guest has arrived, let’s get the fun started” She said, taking a step over to a control panel, and pressing a button.

  Kara had been flying when she spotted the large metal container imbedded in the street, she landed and hesitantly stepped into the crater it had created, she pressed a finger to her earpiece,

  “Hey Rachel” She said,

  “I’m here” Rachel answered,

  “I’m not sure what I’m looking at, but I’m pretty sure it came from those ships” Kara said, placing her palm against the warm metal,

  “What does it look like?” Rachel asked,

  “It kind of looks like a Kryptonian transport pod” Kara said, confused, then suddenly the 3 sides of the container shifted forward and slid up, 3 gorilla like figures stepped out.
