Jesse is a coward. He’s easily startled, averse to horror, and is just waiting for Halloween to be over with. So when his best friend challenges him to go through the haunted house at a mysterious block party, he only begrudgingly accepts. But he quickly comes to regret this decision when they learn the neighborhood the party is being held in is inhabited by real monsters ripped straight from classic horror stories, from hungry vampires to enigmatic skeletons.
