Silver wakes up in a decrepit concrete room, encased in a gel pod in a new body. Exploring the sci-fi apocalyptical megastructure she meets an all female group of people that call themselves Nymphs. The Nymphs speak of the species that built the megastructure, or as they call it Hod. They refer to them as Carbon based life forms, or as she suspects - humans. Silver wants to learn one thing, and one thing only. Where did all the humans go? Author''''s Note: You don''''t need to know the lore of Doll''''s Nest as most of the important things in the story are explained through exposition. I tend to be bad at finishing stories, so this is a bit of an experiment for me; it will only be around 30k words at about 10 chapters, so it will have a complete first arc.
