Records tell of a ritual that takes place every one hundred years. Upon being invoked, nine priestesses, women forced into working for the church, are chosen by one of nine Lords. These Lords, enigmatic and powerful, hold dominion over the land of Fantasia as its creators. The ritual, known only as "The Fall," determines which of these Lords rule over the land for the next one hundred years.
