The flame in his fist quickly changed shape into the head of a lion, complete with its mane, made of fire, flowing freely in the air.
“Ah! Before we begin, can you please take this back with you first!” said Lily suddenly, lifting up her open palm towards him.
“Huh?”
Lily proceeded to throw something towards Vega from afar. Vega exits his stance and stands still. He is still confused by Lily’s wording.

Vega catches the object that Lily threw with his left hand.

Vega sees the object in his hand turned out to be a human hand, a right hand to be exact. His right hand, to be exact. Only now did he realize that his entire right hand was missing from his shoulder.

“Lily, please put it back on!” said Light.
“I am already intending to do that, Light-kun! Geez!”

Suddenly, Vega’s right hand has re-attached back into his right shoulder. The worst part is that he didn’t even know it when it happened.

Vega is so flabbergasted. He could only stand still, confusedly.

“Alright, alright! Please refrain from doing that in the future! It’s quite rude even for someone like you.”
“I understand. . . Wait, what was that supposed to mean?”

Vega suddenly screams in anger. His entire body is engulfed by his flame again. All the flame once again flows towards his right fist, shaping itself into the head of a lion with its mane.

Vega was suddenly kicked on his right cheek, and he was sent flying five meters to his left.

Once again, he uses his flame to recover in the air. He looks down, and Lily has already disappeared from her spot.

He was suddenly punched on the top of his head, sending him flying down towards the ground.

His chin was suddenly grabbed by the same blackened hand. Light has appeared next to him, sitting on the snow, and he pulls Vega’s head down to his level.

Light threatens Vega in a very intimidating tone without his face ever facing towards him. He shows off his intense bloodlust, and it makes Vega sweat and shiver.

Light suddenly lets go of his chin, clenches his blackened right hand, and hits Vega in the nose with the back of his fist.

Light suddenly stood up, standing right in front of him, facing him. He clenches his blackened fist really hard.

Vega propels himself downwards, spouting flame from under his feet towards Light.

All of the flame engulfs Vega in a large amount, and it takes shape into a giant lion’s head with its mane, 150m in diameter. Vega itself is located at its mouth, which is opened wide, ready to bite Light when he’s in range.

The giant flaming lion’s head is flying at 500km/h, approaching Light on the ground within seconds. Light looks up and sees that the giant lion head made of flame is heading towards him pretty fast.

Lily punches and sends Vega, along with his giant lion’s head of flame, flying towards the sky, and this time, he’s reaching 50km above the ground. The impact of her punch creates a massive shockwave that reverberates two kilometers in the area. It also sends a few clouds high in the sky away. Light himself has to transform both of his legs and pull himself into the ground to not get blown away by the powerful shockwave.

The powerful shockwave lasts for five seconds, and it quickly fades away, returning the flow of air to its calming and cold breeze.

“I did it, Light-kun!” said Lily with a smile to Light.
“Yeah, I had a feeling that you wanna be the one to send him flying, so I just stood still! Great job, Lily!”
Light raises his right palm above his head. Lily understands his gesture and runs towards him.

They both high-fived one another in a cheerful mood.

“I doubt it! Say, Light-kun! He mentions that he had just finished fighting someone ‘worthy of respect’, right? Don’t you think that information is worth checking? Who knows if it’s the Seventh? Though I doubt it from the wounds he suffered! The Seventh would hardly leave anyone alive with his powers. Let’s go ahead in the direction he was coming!”
