As the door began to slowly creep down, Ragnar couldn't hear anything from the other side. Thoughts began to plague his mind as he feared the worst. Ragnar summoned his hammer out of rage, forcefully taking it from Kagura's grasp. Kagura and Red ran to Ragnar's side and they launched a team strike, punching a hole in the massive doorway. As they traveled through, the three were immediately taken back by the sight and smell of the new room. The air was red with bloody mist and the stench was horrid. It was difficult for them to even see more than ten feet ahead due to the bloodied air.
Kagura: Oh my god, what happened?
Ragnar: They must have figured out what we were planning somehow. They were all slaughtered.
Red sprinted forward with tears in her eyes. Ragnar grabbed her wrist.
Ragnar: Hold on!
Red: Its all my fault! Let me go!
Ragnar: I can't! Just wai-
Red snapped one of his fingers in order to break his hold. She ran off, disappearing into the red fog. Ragnar kept Kagura close and the two slowly moved forward. They stepped over the bodies of all of the non combatant prisoners. Ragnar looked down to each of them to identify every person who lost their life.
Kagura: Hey, look!
Ragnar turned to see that Kagura was pointing to a military helmet. Ragnar picked it up and a mashed mess of bones and flesh poured out. Next, they found high level body armor. The armor was nearly torn to shreds and was missing its owner.
Ragnar: What could've done this?
Kagura: Oh no.
Kagura reached for Ragnar's hand and began to squeeze it with his herculean strength. The force on his hand told Ragnar that the young boy saw something he didn't want to see. When Ragnar followed Kagura's eyes, he saw Red standing near Raioten. Raioten had knives sticking out from all over his body, with bullet wounds to match. As the pair stepped closer, Red put her hands out to stop them.
Not saying a word, she simply shook her head, her face drenched with tears. Kagura wanted to continue forward, but Ragnar understood Red's warning. Ragnar had to wrestle Kagura away and cover his mouth to silence his roars. As Kagura was carried back across the barrier wall, Red turned back to Raioten. Raioten remained motionless on both knees. Tor had fallen asleep, leaning against his thighs.
His eyes were rolled back and his mouth was showing his sharp teeth as he appeared to be screaming in silence. His arms and legs were completely stained with blood. In one of his hands, Raioten held a bone from a soldiers body that Red couldn't identify. Feeling his heart shatter in her chest, Red slowly approached Raioten. She put a hand on his arm and could feel his pain. His rage was so powerful that it was almost palpable. She dropped to her knees as well and wrapped her arms around his neck.
Red: Please don't go, we're almost free. I'll wait for you.
Raioten didn't move a single muscle. Red reached down to pick up Tor and Raioten immediately grabbed her wrist. He wouldn't allow Tor to be touched. Red stood up and reluctantly left him alone with the child. She walked up to the wall, seeing that it had been raised back up. Red walked through the massive hole they created. She walked up towards with her head down and her fists clenched.
Kagura: Hey, is he-
Red put her hand up and kept walking forward. She walked past Ragnar and went up the next flight of stairs.

Ragnar: Hold on! Formation! Don't break formation!
Red: Go ahead, straight to the top.
Ragnar: What?
Red: You go right to the top of the building. We'll take care of the rest of the soldiers, you just barrel right on through to the Warden.
Ragnar: Jugo? What do you think?
Jugo: If you take down the chief, we'll have the advantage. I think we can catch up to you on time. You go right the Warden and look for Toshiro.
Ragnar: Ok, but we need a way to communicate. I can't go on leaving you guys completely alone.
Kagura: The hammer! We both have a connection with it!
Ragnar: That's right... You guys please be safe, and Kagura, keep the connection secure.
Jugo: Go on man, we'll catch up.
Ragnar immediately took off into the corridor of the next floor. He bulldozed his way right through the waiting army on his way. He paid the soldiers and robots no mind as he ran straight for the top floor and all of the side rooms. The soldiers didn't give chase and decided to focus on bringing the rest of the prisoners down.
Jugo: So, how exactly are we realistically supposed to win here?
Red charged forward and began the battle herself. Kagura and Jugo followed closely behind. Within seconds, the entire corridor was filled with violence and bloodshed. The sheer volume of robotic sentries have the prisoners more trouble than they could handle. The fight dragged on for nearly an hour, with heavy casualties all around. Using his body to shield the children, Jugo was nearly killed by a soldier's last stand.
Red: Shit! Are you alright?
Jugo: I'll be fine, you guys go on ahead. Find Ragnar.
Red: We need to find you a place to hide out for the time being. You're coming with us.
Kagura carried Jugo on his back as the trio went up the final staircase. On the way to the exit hall, Kagura sat Jugo down in an empty room. Before they could tend to his wounds, Kagura's hammer disappeared.
Kagura: Oh no!
Jugo: What's wrong?
Kagura: Ragnar took the hammer by force, he must be in trouble!
Jugo: You two go help him, I'll be alright.
Red: Right, let's go!
The two took off towards the entrance hall and found Ragnar, standing over the Warden. He was badly injured during their fight and summoned the hammer to finish it in one fell swoop.
Kagura: You did it! We won!
Ragnar feel back on his butt, exhausted.
Ragnar: Let's go find Toshiro, it was his dream to get out of here.
The kids held up Ragnar as they traveled through the rooms. After searching through a few rooms, they found Toshiro. He was bound in chains, bruised and beaten.
Ragnar: Toshiro!
Ragnar ripped apart the chains with his hands.
Toshiro: Hey man, I didn't think you would make it all the way here.
Ragnar: I told you that I wouldn't leave you behind.
Kagura: We should get going, who knows how long it'll be until we have to fight more soldiers.
Toshiro: The kid's right, we need to go.
Red and Kagura led the way as Toshiro and Ragnar held each other up. When another squadron of soldiers arrived, the young pair had to defend the adults. After hours of nonstop violence, the entire group was exhausted.
Kagura: I think that's all of them for now, we gotta move.
Red: We need to find Blue.
Toshiro: Where did you guys last see him?
Ragnar: He should still be back on the barracks floor. He wasn't doing so well last we saw him.
Red: Right so we should hurry!
Toshiro: Traveling all together will take much longer. Red, you're in the best shape. You bring him back immediately.
Red: I'll be right back!
Red took off as fast as she could for the lower floors while the adults and Kagura went towards the exit. When she got to the bloodstained floor, Red looked through the massive hole they created in the wall. She saw Raioten slowly walking through with Tor.
Red: Blue! Are you alright?
Raioten looked down, desperately avoiding eye contact with Red.
Red: Hey, its time to go, we won!
Raioten kept his head down as a tear fell from his eye.
Red: You helped out a ton and you even protected little Tor. Please let's go! You can beat yourself up after we get out of here.
Raioten looked up suddenly, his eyes wide with shock.
Red: Hey, you alright shorty?
Raioten handed Tor to Red and ran off in a blur, straight for the stairs.
Red: Wait! I gotta show you the way! Hold- ughhhhh!
Red started jogging in pursuit of Raioten.
Red: Stupid, short ass, little blue haired shit.
When she finally got to the top of the stairs, she heard more violence. Running down through the corridors to the exit hall. Raioten was thrown into the wall next to her when she emerged into the final halfway.
Red: Blue! What the hell?
Toshiro: And then there was one.
Red looked around and saw the downed bodies of her allies. Raioten and Kagura got back up and stood by her side.
Toshiro: You all made it much farther than I thought you would, I'm actually impressed.
Red: The fuck?!
Kagura: He's the one in charge of this place. He's the real Warden of the Tower.
