As Raioten was escorted to the Pit, he was given his instructions.
?: This is the pit little guy. It's a very simple place if you can get past the smell. If you want to get out, just kill your opponent. Good luck to you!
The soldier locked Raioten on the pit and walked up to the observation room.
?: Are you sure that's the right one sir? That kid doesn't have fight in his eyes.
Warden: Don't worry, he'll fight. Send in the other.
The Warden received news of the second squad working to base.
Warden: Keep the fight going, I'll be right back.
When the Warden meet up with the second squad, he had them explain exactly what they saw. The second squad didn't have eyes on whatever caused it, but a large explosion took out the first. They weren't able to find even a trace of any bodies after the explosion, not even that of the target they were sent to capture.
The Warden was extremely upset knowing that the target had vanished without a trace. The second squadron didn't want to leave the home empty handed and decided to take the next person they encountered with them. They didn't put up a fight and seemed traumatized after the explosion.
Warden: Take them into the lower level, I have business to attend to.
The Warden returned to the observation room overseeing the Pit. As he looked down, he saw Raioten getting pummeled by a muscular young man. The Warden sighed, unlocked the exit, and told the man he could leave.
?: I really don't think he's much of a fighter sir.
Warden: He will be, leave him in there. (I will break you)
Yona was in the training room when she heard the entrance door opening. The final prisoner of Tower 13 had arrived. . .
Everyone was surprised and Yona ran off to go see who was coming through the doors. When she got to the hallway, she saw a man fly out. Inside was a small girl with red hair and eyes. Her face was decorated with freckles and a beauty mark underneath her right eye. The young girl looked a little older than Raioten. She had knocked out the men and women who tried to attack her. Yona took a knee and introduced herself.
Yona: Hi there! My name is Yona, what's your name?
?: I'm not supposed to talk to strangers.
Yona: Aww, you are so cute! Well I can show you around if you'd like.
The girl accepted, but kept her distance from Yona. Yona used the tour as a way to quietly search for Raioten, who she had gotten worried about. After showing the young girl around, Yona got even more worried. She also noticed how many people were being called to the Pit. The rules of the Pit were extremely simple, two people enter and only one was allowed to leave.
The part that Yona found strange was that everyone who she saw enter also left unscathed. Yona wanted to ask around, but talking about the Pit something the prisoners didn't do: an unspoken rule.
The newest addition to the prison had acclimated much easier than Raioten. She was a couple of years older and had been previously trained before being kidnapped. Like everyone else, she struggled with being in such a horrible place and away from her family.

Even though she hated her new life, she never let it show and was a positive beacon of light to anyone who interacted with her. She even began training with Yona after she beat up Yasu in a sparring match. Yona was impressed by the young girl's skill.
Yona: You have great fundamentals already, you could be a great fighter one day!
??: One day?
Yona: It'll take time, and a lot of endurance. I can teach you a little if you'd like.
??: Sure, I'll surpass you in no time!
Yona: I won't make it easy! Just know I can't teach you everything I know: whoever taught you in the past did a fantastic job of training your entire body. I focus on the lower body but you should keep training everything. Just know my training will be brutal. I will push you to your limits and past then each and everyday!
Red: Bring it on!
The two trained with a brutal pace each day, as promised. Yasu sat in on their training, hoping to learn something. Marina chided him for being too scared and lazy to step up.
Yasu: Call me what you want, my ribcage is still intact and that's just how i like it. Besides, I can learn more watching than I ever could just getting beaten up.
Marina: I think you're just being lazy.
Yona used her training as a distraction from her worry, but she kept an ear out for any clues to Raioten's whereabouts. After a full month without having seen Blue, Yona grew desperate. When she caught sight of the Warden entering the lower floor, she marched him down.
Yona: Where is he?
Warden: Tons of young men within these walls, which are you referring t-
In an instant, Yona lifted the Warden and slammed him into a wall.
Yona: Do NOT fuck with me.
Warden: I'd put me down if I were you, right now.
Yona dropped the Warden back down to his feet. He began walking, leading her to the Pit.
Warden: Good. Now, as for the young boy, he's been spending time with me recently.
Yona: He better be ok or I'll kill you!
Warden: You can certainly try. If I may, why are you bonding so much with these people? Have you not told them how to move to the higher floors?
Yona's head sunk with sorrow.
Warden: I see, you haven't. Gonna get all of their hopes up right before you kill them, I understand.
Yona: It's not like that!
Warden: Could've fooled me. You know that only three of you can move up, and yet you've chosen to create a little happy family of 5. So which two were you planning to kill to move up?
Yona: I would never!
Warden: I see, so you were hoping that they would kill each other. It would definitely make things easier for you in the end.
Yona: Shut up!
Yona fell to her knees in tears. The Warden pressed a button to open up one of the entrance gates to the Pit. He then put a hand on her shoulder and squatted next to her.
Warden: I'll cut you a deal. If you can do something for me, I'll allow you and one other prisoner to walk free, no questions asked. *motioning to the inside of the Pit*
Yona: Who do I need to kill?
Warden: That's my girl. I've been keeping count and you've entered the Pit 92 times as of today. All you have to do is win 8 more times. Claim your 100th life for me and you're free to go.
Yona: And someone I choose? They leave too?
Warden: Absolutely, you have my word.
The Warden watched with delight as Yona's eyes looked pure evil. As she walked into the Pit, he closed the door once again. The Warden went up to the observation booth and told one of his men to fetch a 'sacrifice' for Yona. Later, he arrived in his private quarters. His private room was an extravagant one, lined with beautiful decorations and furnished with state of the art appliances.
Warden: Where's my tea?
From around the corner, Raioten walked out, dressed in a small fancy suit. He carried a tray of tea up to the Warden.
Warden: You're late!
The Warden slapped the tray aside and drilled his knee into Raioten's face. The Warden felt a rush seeing Raioten's pained eyes, and wanted to see more. The ways his eyes glowed with pain but he never screamed out loud made the Warden happy. He was utterly pleased beating Raioten down until the boy couldn't pick himself up anymore. Watching him struggle to rise made the Warden strike him even harder. He threw the boy around the room, destroying the furniture. Getting a knock at his door, the Warden left Raioten a bloodied mess on his floor.
Warden: This mess better be cleaned up by the time I return. Stand tall little soldier.
As he closed the door, the Warden got one last look at Raioten's rage filled eyes. He walked back to the observation room.
Warden: What's the status?
?: She's been yelling for you since the fight.
Warden: And how did she perform?
?: Just like you said sir, she brutally killed that man.
Warden: Good, send one new fighter in each day. No food or water.
?: But sir-
Warden: She'll figure it out.
