A militia member walks out to a transport truck and starts it up. The truck is parked outside of a large home. Inside, two adults lie in the living room, deceased.
?: Grab those two kids and bring them with us!
Multiple other armed men surrounded two small boys. One of the young boys lashed out, attacking the men.
?: Dammit! Can't you guys handle a child? I have to do everything around here!
The leader of the group pulled his weapon and shot the young boy. His body fell to the ground immediately. The other child became immobile with lifeless eyes. The leader approached him.
?: Now, you're not going to make things difficult like he did are you?
The young boy didn't move a muscle.
?: Good. Behave and this will all go smoothly.
The boy was taken outside, leaving behind the house of corpses. As the leader placed him in the back of the transport truck, his team placed bombs all around the home. As they drove away, the leader clicked a trigger, causing explosions all throughout the home.
?: We've got a long drive ahead kid, make yourself comfortable.
The transport rolled on, with the young boy not moving an inch. The back of the transport was pitch black and cold, but he just sat still, bright blue eyes piercing the darkness. After a few hours, the militia had to stop for gas.
Leader: Hey, I'm going to go inside and grab the kid some food, I'm sure he's starving. Take care of the gas.
?: Yes sir.
As the subordinate finished up pumping gas, the Leader came out with a few bags full of food and snacks. He walked to the back of the transport and knocked on the back.
Leader: I didn't know what kind of stuff you would eat kid, but I'd have hell to pay if you starved back here. I'm opening up.
As the Leader cautiously opened the hatch, he saw the young boy hadn't moved a muscle from where he was. His skin began to lose color, but his eyes still seemed to shine.
Leader: Here, eat up.
As the leader set the bags down, the young boy turned his head sharply and stared him down. His fierce blue glare made the Leader back away and fall over out of fear.
Leader: (what is this pressure? Am I going to die?)
He reached for a weapon but froze in place before he could grab it. As the boys eyes got sharper, the Leader felt even more helpless as his hand got closer to his weapon. Shaking profusely from his own fear, the Leader summoned all of his courage and threw his weapon far away. He showed his hands to display his peaceful demeanor.

Leader: I'm sorry, I'm not going to hurt you.
The young boy looked away, turning his head right back to the way it had been prior, and sat motionless once more. The Leader slowly walked back to the transport and closed the hatch, trying to catch his breath. As he got back in the front seat, visions of the boy's shining, Azure eyes were burned into his mind.
?: Hey boss, Boss!
Leader: Huh?
?: We've been sitting here for 5 minutes. Are you alright?
Leader: I'm fine, we're headed out.
?: But you're sweating like crazy.
Leader: I SAID I'M FINE!
The transport drove in silence, making a few more pit stops along the way. The total drive took four days and the men were excited to finally have completed their mission. They met up with another squadron at a rendezvous point on the coast. They were set to transfer the young blue eyed child to a transport boat. The two men in charge came together.
Leader: He's well behaved but stay on your guard. There's something off about that kid. He hasn't moved much since we captured him. I don't think he's eaten either, but there's something ominous about him.
Captain: Don't worry about him, we'll make sure he behaves.
Raioten was placed into the containment section of the boat. He remained motionless on the swaying boat ride. His eyes remained fierce.
?: Sir, we aren't going the right way. Tower 11 is in the other direction I believe.
Captain: We're going to Tower 13, not 11. It's the closest.
?: Are you sure? I could've sworn-
The captain looked nervous, almost scared. He slowly reached for his gun.
?: Whatever, I don't get paid enough to care.
The captain let out a soft sigh and went back to steering the ship. After a few days out on the ocean, the ship came into view of the tower. Tower 13 was on a large island in the middle of the ocean. As they unloaded Raioten, the young child, terror struck the crew. Each one of the men aside from the captain began sweating profusely.
The captain looked around at his men, who all looked as if they were face to face with certain death. He went back to the private guard in charge of escorting Raioten. Raioten was in the back, holding back tears. The men who were supposed to be guarding him all ran off. The captain approached Raioten, who was crying. The gravity of the situation he was in began to weigh on his mind.
Captain: (what a scary kid) You all stay here, I'll take him myself. Come on young man.
The Captain took Raioten's hand and they walked through the thick forest surrounding the island. Tower 13 was a colossal structure that was built on the edge of the island, directly inside of a massive cliff. A large portion was above ground but majority of the building was underneath. Upon walking inside, the Captain was thanked for his second recent delivery and relieved of duty. As he turned to walk away, Raioten grabbed his hand again. Seeing the look in his eyes, the Captain decided to stay.
Captain: Would you mind if I went to the initiation chamber with him?
A loud voice spoke from speakers around the room.
?:I don't care, as long as you don't interfere. He won't survive anyway.
Captain: *sigh* I know, I just want to help at least a bit.
?: Do as you wish.
The Captain walked hand in hand with Raioten into a large, sealed room. The room reeked of death. It was a plain looking room, with a single experimentaion table with cuffs in the center. The walkway was a thin path overlooking a deep hole. Raioten went to look over but the Captain stopped him.
Captain: Stay close, you don't want to fall. (No child should see that at a time like this)
The Captain helped Raioten onto the table and strapped him in. Seeing the worry in his eyes, the Captain stayed by the table for support.
Captain: I am truly sorry, this will all be over soon.
?: Is he prepped?
Captain: Yes sir.
The Captain gave Raioten a parting hug and a faint 'Survive'. There was a faint glimmer of light left in Raioten's eyes as the Captain separated himself.
?: That's enough! It's time to proceed.
As the Captain left the room, Raioten's heart rate increased dramatically. The room seemed to shrink around him and the voice called to him once more.
?: Are you ready young man? We're about to begin.
Raioten didn't have time to think before the pain hit. In an instant, he was being electrocuted by devices surrounding the testing table. His mind raced at unfathomable speeds, making every fraction of a second feel like years. After just a brief moment the electricity subsided. A member of the medical team walked out to check on Raioten. As he approached the table, he began to lose it.
Medic: Another one? Another fucking child? I can't keep doing this. Greater good my ass, this isn't right.
The medic removed the restraints from Raioten's lifeless body and dropped him over the side of the platform. His body fell on the top of the pile of others that didn't make it through the examination process. He stormed out of the room and up into the control room overlooking the examination room.
Medic: Open the hatch please, I'm not looking down there at that young man anymore than I have to.
?: Sure thing, he was the last of the day anyway.
A man pressed a button and a large hatch on the side of the building opened up. All of the bodies began to fall out of the side of the Tower and into the ocean. A gigantic, aquatic monster leapt from the ocean to devour it's meal. After the tunnel was emptied out, the hatch began to close. It slammed shut and locked back to seal the building once again.
After the hatch was sealed, the workers began to shut down the machines. They headed back to the barracks to rest up before the next day.
