Cordelia
Ophelia Thassia Sylvaris. She is the Heroine of the novel, 'Roses of Blood.' She was born with a weak and sickly body, because of that she often stayed at home.
Her sister however, was very healthy. Due to that, she was allowed to go out and mingle with her noble peers. Influenced by some 'friends', she began to bully and ridicule her own twin sister.
Their father turned a blind eye to this. Showing favoritism to his healthy child. He saw no future with Ophelia after all.
That was until they turned 10. Nobles usually start training their children with magic at the age of 10, with the exception of magic houses. When the twins began their study, Ophelia immediately found her talent for magic.
She was nearly on par with her best friend, Cedric Vdimyr Vasquez, who was renowned as a genius from House Vasquez, the strongest magic house there is.
All of their fathers attention immediately went to Ophelia. That made Cordelia jealous. She bullied Ophelia even more. However, this time her father would stop her. So she decided to do it discreetly.
Cordelia was gd that her sisters constitution was still weak. So her social status didn't change. The news of her bullying never got out of their house, as the Duke wanted to keep it a family matter.
Atleast that's what I know from the past considering the timeline that I'm in.
The novel begun at around the start of the Academy, which is a month away. So most of my knowledge about the future is still far away.
However I can already influence it. According to the novel, Cordelia was killed by Ophelia because of the constant bullying. I may not be able to change the past, but I can try to change the future.
If I become nice and show her that I've changed, surely she won't kill me... right?
And it all starts here! During our 'outing', a sibling bonding if you will.
Currently I sat at a carriage with Ophelia. Our servants are on a separate carriage.
Now. If it was the past Cordelia inhabiting this body, Ophelia would already be in danger. However, I am not the Cordelia they once knew!
But the problem is... How the hell do I start a conversation?
I've never been one to talk to people. My head was mostly stuck in books. I am very socially awkward. And considering that the person I want to talk to is someone the past owner of this body constantly bullied, this is gonna be very hard.
"The weather's quite nice huh?" This is how people start conversations, right?
Ophelia flinched. She looked so weak and scared of me... Well considering who I am it makes sense.
Maybe I should have started with an apology?
"I'm sorry for the things I've done in the past. I had a recent enlightenment, and I realized I was really mean to you. I don't expect you to forgive me, however I want you to know that I will try to change." I say loud enough for her to hear. My gaze redirected to the carriage's window. She didn't respond, but I knew she heard my words.

As we arrived on the town, we immediately got out of the carriage. Ophelia's maids immediately swarmed her, checking to see if I did anything. I ignored them as I went in the tailor shop along with Hannah and Janice.
"My dy what did you do to Lady Ophelia this time?" Janice asked as I sat down, waiting for my 'sister.'
"I did nothing." I say. The shop attendants started serving some snacks. A few seconds ter, Ophelia walked in. She sat down on the same area as me, but made sure to keep some distance.
A few minutes ter, the shop owner arrived. She said some boring stuff that I didn't bother hearing and immediately got me and Ophelia to try if our clothes that we supposedly ordered a month ago fit perfectly. It was alright so the maids sent it to the pace.
Everything was a blur after that. We went to some shops and bought some stuff. Ophelia's maids were very wary of me, and Ophelia herself tried not to get too close to me. I just ignored them. This is the first step of trying to 'change.' Not doing anything. That way I can show I'm no longer interested in bullying her... Not like I ever wanted to do that anyways.
"This is our st stop." Ophelia said for the first time in a while. She was looking at me, gauging my reaction. I simply hummed.
I walked out the carriage and looked at the store- it was a bookstore.
We went in, and the maids immediately went to find the books we need for the academy. We were allowed to roam around and find whatever books we wanted, however Ophelia chose to simply sit down and wait.
I decided to not let this opportunity slip away. I took some books about the history and geography of this world. I may know a lot about the future, but I know nothing about this world.
Maybe this is unnecessary, since I am signed up for a css regarding history and geography, but I didn't really care.
I also took some books that interest me... Which were a lot. Mostly consisting of literature and magic.
The maids didn't seem shock that I picked out some books. However when they looked at it, they made a comment.
"My Lady, there are plenty of books regarding history in the pace's library. You don't have to buy this... We are only here for what you want to bring to the academy. You only need the academy books." Hannah said. I scoff. I saw Ophelia flinch at that. Okay, no scoffing.
"Fine. But keep the literature ones." They nodded and immediately checked everything out.
So I learned something about Cordelia today. Apparently she's a book nerd like me. But she was still a bitch.
