As the Phoenix Saga approaches its 400th chapter and the end of book XIII, it''''s become a lot to keep track of and keep current on. Akane''''s Diary is a recap and summary of the events of the story, with each chapter of this work corresponding to one of the books of the wider Phoenix Saga. It is told from the perspective of Akane writing dated entries in her journal, and that means she''''s a slightly imperfect narrator in places where she doesn''''t have a full picture of what''''s going on. It''''s therefore recommended that if you''''re using this work to "catch up" or "skip ahead" in the story, to read the entries for an entire Phoenix series rather than just a book, by which time she''''ll generally have caught up to things. You''''ll pick up little extra details along the way, too.
