Some rove out in search of Love or Truth, others -like Wilgrim for instance- bumble about aimlessly for a month in a strange land they woke up in one day until a strange woman on the side of the road asks for money in exchange for a fortune telling, wastes all his money on it, and then decides the story she told him was enough reason to just walk across a country with the vague hope it might kind of do what he wants.
