The next morning I left very early in the morning. I was still in a party with Chloe, so at the end I was going to get the bonus for the pyer party.
But my main pn was to grind to a high enough level to enter a post game area in thornvale. Or to get the dawnbringer to get a better sword.
I only had access to thornvale, and most of the equipment I wanted was avaible ter in the game, but I could get a decent bit of them.
Basically, the only things I still need to get after this are weapons and better components for my armor.
The actual armor I want is avaible in the beginning of the game, though I am choosing it purely for aesthetic reasons over the stats.
I also have a pn that I might need help from, but both that and the armor I need to be around level 70 for.
As I make my way into Thornvale, I head to a random dungeon to test a few things out. The easiest dungeon was basically a tutorial on how bosses worked, and I headed right there.
It would take about 10 minutes in game to clear it at my level, but if I am right, this is going to be a cake walk and make leveling really easy.
The dungeon is basically just a cave that at the end has a giant samander boss. Walking into it, I deal with the small fry and quickly make it to the boss.
During the whole time, I didn’t gain any level or Proffency boost, which is fine.
When I made it to the Samander, I quickly shot some water magic at it, since that weakens it, but it wasn’t enough to kill it.
I then rush in using my fake bde rush and kill it quickly.

This confirms for me that it is every dungeon that gives out points. But the real test happens next.
The reward for this dungeon was the boss drops of samander scales, but also a fire bottle, an item you throw at something to light it on fire. At the end of the dungeon is a escape hole that leads back to the surface.
Heading out and running back to the start, I enter the dungeon again. The beginning takes just as much effort, which was very little.
Then entering the boss fight, I take on the boss just as quickly as before. I know the patterns for dealing with the samander. This boss is actually just a field enemy in ter areas, so I have killed a lot of them.
But with it dead, my pn works out perfectly.

I get the bonus points for every time I clear the dungeon.
It hits me not for the first time how unbanced the new game plus menu is. I mean, if I get to level 100, I can clear this dungeon in about 1 minute. I mean even with the reset time being 5 minutes to walk back to the beginning, that's 15 minutes.
Pushing myself to the limit, it would take 337 runs to get the 505,000 points to get to level 100. At 15 minutes per run that is 5055 minutes, or 84.5 hours. Assuming I can do 12 hours a day, each weekend, it's like 4 weeks before I hit level 100.
That is completely insane, so much so it could work.
Then reality hits and I remember that I have other commitments, and I can’t just grind at a dungeon for 12 hours a day for 4 weeks ends when I should probably try spending time with Emily.
I sit down to try and formute a pn. I definitely want to get dawnbringer soon, just to be safe for the first story events, and I want to get to a higher level quickly.
But, I also want to go out and have a real date with Emily, not just a quick outing during the week.
Making up my mind quickly, I decide to get a lot more points before putting them pces. I need at least 25,870 to get both multipliers to 7.5, then I want a bunch to increase my level to 25.
So I decided to spend the next hour grinding the dungeon.
15 minutes per run, I get 1,500 per run, in an hour I am able to get 6000 more points.

I was really getting into the groove of clearing the dungeon. I did realize it didn’t make sense to wait to increase the multipliers, but now that I am done, I raise both of them to 7.5

I figured its going to take about an hour to make it to the new dungeon, so I quickly leave this area, and head to that one.

Chloe was doing some work at school, but she she noticed that she was receiving a few messages.
She and Nyx had hunted together yesterday, and they never ended there party, so she was still receiving all of the level ups for Nyx.
She had leveled up twice so far today, and the first time was pretty early, so she must have gone out really early.
But, eventually she got a set of messages really quickly, back to back.
*Nyx level 18 ->19*
*Nyx level 19 ->20*
*Nyx level 20 ->21*
*Nyx level 21 ->22*
*Nyx level 22 ->23*
*Nyx level 23 ->24*
*Nyx level 24->25*
In about a second she went up 7 levels. BUt the strange part was the fact that tose levels must have come from different monsters. If it was one sudden gain of EXP, it would have been one message instead of 7.
Chloe had no clue what Nyx could be doing today, but she was kind of worried for her.
As Chloe was wondering about this, she got a knock on her door. She had no friends outside of Nyx at school, so she had no idea who this could have been.
“One second” she said, and got up and headed to the door to see who it was. Opening it up, she found something she did not foresee.
“Hello, can I talk to you about something?” Emily asked her.
She was standing in the hallway by herself, and was wearing the cloths that Chloe recognized as her basic adventurer clothes from the game.
“Um, sure. How can I help you Princess?” Chloe said, moving aside so she could enter Chloe's dorm.
“It's pretty easy. Are you interested in Nyx?” She asked right away.
“Um… if I say yes, what are you going to do?” Chloe asked her.
“Nothing” Emily said. “I was just wondering. I originally came here assuming you had left with her this morning”
“Oh, but I believe she is by herself since our party is still active” Chloe told Emily.
“Hmm. I wonder why she didn’t ask anyone to go with her… Anyway, are you interested? You never gave me a real answer”
“I mean, a little. BUt I would never interfere with someone's retionship like that. And from how she looks at you, I know she really like you” Chloe says, making sure Emily knows what kind of person she is.
“Oh, you misunderstand me. I am fully in favor of Nyx creating her own harem. I think you should 100% go for it if you see a chance” Emily said with a huge smile.
“Wait, really? Why?” Chloe asked in disbelief. She knew of Emily's character from the game, but she had ignored a lot of the dating sim parts of the game, so she didn’t know a lot about her.
“Oh, it's kind of personal, but I have a… thing I want to do with her that needs another person. And I think she is to cute to keep to myself”
“So, you are ok if other people also date her. That's good to know”
“Not other people, other girls that I think are worthy of her”
“And who are those?”
“Well, Nyx seems to think of you as at least a friend, so you. Myself, clearly. Rose, Nyx’s maid is another. And Nyx’s older sister, Lilith.” EMily said. “The other two are because I believe that Nyx is actually heavily dependent on them. But I have grown to kind of like Rose.”
“Well, this has given me a lot to think about” Chloe said back to Emily. In truth, she wasn’t against being only one of Nyx’s girlfriends. And it seemed that her and Emily had some stuff in common when it came to interests of that nature.
“Allright. Also, if you see her before me, please tell her I am looking for her. I am going to see if I can find her in the wilds” Emily told Chloe before leaving.
“Have a great day” She said back as the princess left her dorm.
“This could be a lot of fun…” she then said to herself.

The dungeon for the dawnbringer was a cave just like the samander dungeon was. The small monsters before the boss were normal samanders, and a few lizard men.
Unlike the st dungeon, I did not have a clear way of weakening the boss, but with my increase in strength from the levels, I should be fine.
And with the increase in speed, plus my bunny hood, I could run through her really quickly.
As I run past them, I kill each monster with a single attack. I cut through a few dozen samanders, and about 5 lizardmen before I make it to the young dragon.
Getting ready for the fight, I stop right before I enter his range. The dragon notices me instantly, and stands to full height, about 20 feet tall, and with massive wings behind it.
It is funny to think about how this is a very small dragon compared to what you can see ter in the game. Those can get as rge as mountains, though you never fight those as a single battle, they're more like whole dungeons where you climb up them and only attack the head.
As the dragon gets ready for the fight, I do as well, firing a few shots of lighting magic at the wings, hoping to paralyze them. This is the side effect of a few magic elements, like slowing for ice magic, or burning for fire, lighting can disable limbs.
It doesn't work though, but I am able to deal decent damage with this technique, even if it will never kill.
I do trick it into bending down to go for a direct attack with its cws, which I dodge, by rolling to the side. When I get back on my feet, I quick run to the head and nd a good hit with my sword right in its eye, dispying the eye.
This causes a retaliation in the form of a breath attack right towards me, which I run away from, not getting hit because of my speed. My stat was now 100 thanks to the bunny hood.
I repeat my early steps to try and take out the other eye, and I succeed.
But now the dragon is in pure desperation mode, just blindly swing around and shooting out breath attacks.
I have to keep moving to avoid all of this, but eventually it brings its head down to the right position for my final attack.
In the same eye I cut out earlier, I stabbed my sword in deep. I can feel the dragon struggle as it dies from the sword piercing its brain.
As the dragon dies, I get another message.

Thanks to the huge increase in the multipliers, I gained more levels, and a few proficiency levels. I will no longer have to imitate bde rush, and I gained a new magic. The dragon normally gave around 1 level here, so it made sense that I gained multiple since I gained so much more experience.
I also got a number of red dragon scales that could sell for a lot of money. This basically solved my money problem.
But my big prize was on a pedestal behind where the dragon was.
A gold and white sword, Dawnbringer. It was a first time clear reward for this dungeon, so no grinding it. But what it does makes it an excellent weapon for the early game. It was +25 fire damage, which was really good. ANd since it had an affinity, it would be helpful for specific areas I could grind in.
But after getting this, I decided to head back to school for today.
It's not even noon yet, but I reached two of my goals. Next weekend, I could push this to the limits with the cavern of remembrance.
I wanted to see Emily, and maybe go out on our first real date.
