In the wake of a torn empire, men struggle to find their places in the world. Years pass, and soldier age, wounds heal, and regions become kingdoms. Until Kai Vein a young prince decides to name himself conqueror, and moves to gather an army, though many see him as a foolish child, and do not wish for the Empire to rise again.
