  Kristina gave you a tight smile. She removed her baseball cap. You can see the dark circles under her eyes, and you can bet you look the same.

  "I'm glad you're safe," you said.

  "You too," she said. "You won't believe what my grandma told me, though-"

  Another hand landed on your shoulder as well as Kristina's. You looked up and saw Atlas's face. He was grinning from ear to ear. "What's up?"

  Kristina swiped his hand away and rolled her eyes. "Too cheery!" she grunted.

  "Well, is it a requirement to be sad today?" Atlas asked. "Come on, I'll take you guys to Sammy's Sammich."
