As Kenley walked, he mentally calculated his current resources and capabilities.
Three bottles of orange-quality potions, 14 gold and 20 silver, a blue-quality imperial army sword, a high-growth vampire servant, a warrior (Honorary Paladin), a book on fire magic inheritance [Crimson Flame Ring], a pair of +10 agility boots, a piece of +15 charisma clothing, a dagger poisoned with Medusa venom, and a legendary cloak of light.
Next, he needed to figure out how to acquire a full set of armor. However, Kenley didn't plan to spend money on body equipment. He knew where there were tasks that could provide good gear for free.
Equipment needed to be continuously updated. As his level increased, the need for upgrading gear became more important. The most crucial part was that this was reality, not a game where time sped up and actions were simplified. People needed rest, and thus time felt much slower.
Kenley wondered how long it would take to level up to 30 in reality. Therefore, obtaining a blue-quality set before reaching level 30 was very important.
As for purple-quality gear, obtaining such equipment early on was too exhausting and inefficient. Kenley's plan was to at most acquire a purple-quality weapon. After reaching level 30, the models for equipment would undergo a significant update, with a major jump in base values. The high-quality gear obtained earlier would no longer suffice for mid-game. So, it was crucial to make smart choices regarding gear routes and tasks.
As he walked back, Kenley suddenly spotted a craftsman's shop. Inside, a person caught his eye:"Legendary Architect Leonbali!"
No, no, he's not yet a legendary architect...
Kenley remembered that during the sixth expansion of the game, Leonbali was the chief designer behind the incredibly grand Silent Fortress. This massive fortress had blocked the demon invasion for over twenty years, and when Kenley reincarnated into this world, it was still holding the line.
Normally, Kenley wouldn't have known the architect. After all, professional players and architects usually didn't have much to do with each other. However, because there were many women in his guild, they often praised Leonbali's work when looking to design houses. So, Kenley had ended up taking on many tasks related to this (by the late stages of the game, most players owned at least one house, and some had dozens).
As a result, it was hard for Kenley not to know him. Now, it was after the dark lord invasion expansion and the end of the fourth expansion,"Royalty and Divine Power." At this point, Leonbali wasn't yet a legendary architect but still an unknown rookie.
Kenley paused, thinking it wouldn't hurt to get to know Leonbali in advance. After all, during the future demon invasion, he'd likely need to do tasks or level up in high-level monster zones.
When demons ran rampant, he'd often need to visit the Silent Fortress to rest and resupply (Leonbali would be stationed at the fortress for maintenance). So, it made sense to establish a relationship with Leonbali beforehand, so they could help each other out if they met again.

With this in mind, Kenley walked over...
------
"Master! Where have you been? Tia's been looking for you everywhere."
As soon as Kenley returned, Tia's eyes lit up.
Kenley had a divine servant's sense, so he could always find where Tia was. Right now, Tia was sitting in the first-floor lobby of the Elf Inn, having tea with Brook, Sylph, and the dwarf Smith.
Although the Elf Inn only allowed elves and half-elves, dwarves and elves were friendly factions, so he could enter. But Kenley was different—when he tried to enter, he was stopped at the door. Had Tia not spotted him, he would have likely been trapped outside.
Kenley glanced carefully at Smith inside before saying,"Tia, let's go. Let's go check out the new house the bishop left for us."
"Okay! I'll go call Sylph." Tia obediently replied.
"Alright."
Not long after, Sylph walked out with Tia. As soon as they met, Sylph asked,"Hey, why were you gone for so long? Smith kept asking about you. He definitely wants something important."
Kenley broke out in a cold sweat, worried that Sylph might expose his whereabouts."Tia, let's hurry, it's almost dark."
He quickly urged Tia to leave, not caring what Sylph thought. After all, he had just obtained the cloak of light, and he definitely couldn't let Smith take it back.
"Why are you walking so fast!" Sylph, seeing Kenley running off with Tia, immediately got angry.
Kenley rolled his eyes. It's said that elven princesses are symbols of grace, elegance, and beauty, but why was Sylph the complete opposite? She was neither graceful nor elegant.
Had she read too many fantasy novels about heroes and gotten influenced by them? It was Tia who seemed more like a princess. Kenley couldn't help but think maliciously.
As soon as Kenley and Tia climbed onto the carriage, Sylph quickly followed and jumped into the compartment.
The church had left Kenley a house, which, while not in the city center, was located in a residential area on the west side of the city. The people who lived there were either minor nobles or merchants, so the house shouldn't be too bad.
Thinking about it being his first house in this world, Kenley felt a little sentimental. Things had changed, but he finally had a home of his own. He just didn't know what the new house looked like.
As Kenley drove the carriage toward the location described, they quickly came upon a building: a noble-style mansion built from lime stone and beige stone bricks. The roof had a pointed, palace-like design, with blackened tiles layered like scales, and glass windows scattered across the exterior in an alternating pattern.
The pale gray stone walls enclosed a lawn overgrown with weeds, likely due to neglect. From the external structure, it looked okay, but as soon as they entered the interior, they all frowned. The walls, long unmaintained, were cracked in many places, and cobwebs filled the beams and corners of the house.
The first floor consisted of the main hall with a spiral staircase. To the left was the reception room, and to the right were the dining room and another sitting room. Walking deeper from the hallway, there was the kitchen, a washroom, and a storage room, along with two guest rooms and a dining area.
On the second floor, there was a master bedroom, a secondary bedroom, and another guest room. In the center, there was a small living room, and on the right side, there were also a storage room and a washroom.
At the top, there was an attic, but Kenley didn't bother to check it, assuming it was probably not important. The house was large, with many rooms. Apart from the first and second floors, there was also a wine cellar in the basement for storing wine and food.
Kenley furrowed his brow. It seemed like this house would need some repairs.
