Cat was looking quite joyful. A dumb smile on his usually frowning face.
“And that's how we do it~.” Cat said, dusting his paws off of each other.
The city was clean, no dirt, no blood, no monsters. Civilians started coming back into their homes. Cat looked towards the western flesh pillar.
“What could ever be going on there?” Cat wondered in his mind.
…
“This technique I've developed myself, it always protected me. Let's see how practical it is against something I've never seen before.” Silvian said in his mind before activating his elementalist coat then powering up with a suit of electricity all over his body.
Silvian stepped inside the flesh tower, leaving marks on his footsteps due to his lightning. He quickly rushed upwards until he found Darius struggling. Darius turned his head to the side and saw him, instantly recognizing him despite the electricity suit being activated.
“No, not again… Why, why can't this body be good at doing anything important?” Darius said in his mind, getting more desperate.
…
stefan3B was frowning at the demon, already experienced with fighting supernatural beings. Belphegor raised his pointer finger from his right hand towards stefan3B. The boy did not want to find out what this would lead to, so he instantly activated ASM and made a long dash to the right. With his left hand on the floor and crouched down, ready to leap right at him, he was waiting for his next move.
“Come on, bastard, I don't have all day.” stefan3B said in his mind, knowing his time is extremely limited in this building.
Belphegor’s chair slowly turned around to face stefan3B. He then lazily raised his finger again, this time preparing to fire a laser out of his fingertips. stefan3B didn't want to waste any more time, so he instantly launched himself headfirst into the demon. He manages to land a clean, strong right punch to his face, flipping him backwards, off the chair, making him tumble over to the wall. Belphegor slowly stood up, seemingly bored.
“Agh, that was a refresher.” Belphegor said in a casual tone.
stefan3B looked at him in confusion for a few seconds before getting into close range and starting to throw punches at his face. He was as tall as him, so it wasn’t hard to nail them. Belphegor staggered with every single strike. He suddenly grabbed stefan3B’s left fist into his hand, then with his right hand he charged up an attack, blue aura glowing from his fist. stefan3B instantly reacted to this by kicking him in the chin with his knee and trying to punch him in the face with his right fist, but this time he didn’t flinch. Belphegor managed to throw his punch into his stomach, sending him flying into the wall., leaving a small crack. stefan3B fell down with a thud and slowly stood up while panting.
“ASM already started to kick in, I just need to defeat him before I get any more dizzy.” stefan3B said to himself.
Belphegor began stretching lazily, snapping his neck left and right with a loud crack from each side.
“Sin of sloth, huh? So that’s why he’s so slow. I am at such a disadvantage, I don’t have any ranged moves.” stefan3B said in his mind as he stood up.
Belphegor began charging up energy on his pointer finger again, a dazzling blue light getting brighter right before his face. stefan3B didn’t know how devastating this attack could be, since he seemingly only uses heavy, slow attacks. However, he was more than ready to dodge anything at any given chance. Suddenly, stefan3B felt his feet bound to the floor. He looked down and saw his shoes covered in the same blue energy Belphegor uses, stuck to the floor like glue.
“What the-” but he didn’t manage to finish his sentence as Belphegor launched his attack.
Dozens of blue beams suddenly all exploded from his fingertip like a shotgun blast, most of them missing him. stefan3B braced himself for impact and upon being hit by 8 of those lasers he was greatly pushed back, so much so that he broke the wall behind him and fell off the tower, his ASM deactivating upon taking this amount of damage. He fell down together with the rubble, but before hitting the ground, Radu managed to soften the ground and ease his fall. He walked towards stefan3B.

“Hey, what happened?!” Radu said, worried.
“Ugh,” stefan3B said before coughing a few times “Belphe… something… demons… there's demons…” stefan3B continued as Radu helped him stand up slowly.
…
Silvian reached the floor right after Belphegor blasted stefan3B out. Without any second thoughts, he launched a lightning blast to the demon. Belphegor slowly turned around before yawing.
“Come on, I wanna sit down already.” Belphegor said with annoyance before swiping his hand, unleashing a wave of red energy.
Upon landing on Silvian’s suit, it fizzled before vanishing. Belphegor was seemingly surprised.
“I see, you're immune to hell energy because of that suit. No worries, I'll take you out of it.” he said before striking a fighting stance.
Silvian followed along, preparing. Before he knew, Belphegor flashed right before him, preparing to axe kick him in the head. Silvian took quick notice and grabbed his leg before pushing it upwards with a lightning blast from his palm. Belphegor backflipped, but before he could hit him back, Silvian launched a barrage of punches even quicker than stefan3B, enhanced by the suit of lightning he was wearing. The energy was melting Belphegor's face ever so slightly. He tried to do the same trick as he did with stefan3B by grabbing his left fist, but Silvian unleashed another lightning pulse which burnt his hand. He then didn't hold back from counter attacking with a heavy right punch straight to his face, staggering him and knocking a few of his teeth out. Belphegor took a few steps back before coughing out red dust.
“You're in luck. I fucking hate elementalists. You nasty humans will never come close to the endless divinity of hell itself! You will all succumb to us one day!” Belphegor said with a hateful tone.
Silvian unleashed lighting on the floor, damaging both the demon and Ares, snapping him back from his trance.
“Human? Me? Us? Humans? We are no damn humans.” Silvian said before preparing a finishing move.
However, before he would be able to continue his plan, Ares launched a fire spear tied to a chain of flames right into the demon's face. Once it pierced inside, he quickly pulled it towards him, grabbed his face and slammed it on the floor. Belphegor coughed in agony
“Y-you imbecile!” Belphegor muttered before grabbing Ares’s face, preparing to blast him away as his hands clutched his cheeks.
Ares, with a passion, grabbed the spear by its handle and pulled it up together with his head before slamming him back down into the floor. He slammed him several times, eventually losing the grip on his face. Ares then, with a war cry, charged up the spear with intense energy, bursting out and burning Belphegor from inside of his head like an incinerator until his skull exploded into red dust which quickly vanished as if it wasn't there to begin with. Ares stood up, panting for a second before stopping and looking down at the mark on the floor which his attack left before spitting down on it with disgust. Silvian looked at the brutal execution with awe and slight fear. He knew the royal guards were supposed to be strong and merciless, but not to this extreme. Ares frowns at Silvian.
“What are you waiting for? Come on already!” Ares said furiously as he walked towards the next set of stairs.
Silvian quickly followed after him.
“Hey, didn't I forget about something? Nah, it must've not been important if I forgot.” Silvian said in his mind, as he forgot to help Darius.
With Belphegor dead, the tower’s floors were now empty. After going up 2 more sets of stairs, Ares gets fed up with walking. He summoned his spear and launched it at the upper floor, making a crack big enough for them to jump through. They continue doing this quickly for the next dozen floors, alternating between Ares’ fire spear and a lightning beam from Silvian. The fleshy floor would vanish nonetheless. They eventually reach the final floor with an epic entrance. Orange, who happened to be there, was surprised by their arrival.
“Wh-what? What about the demon?!” Orange said with a shocked tone.
“NO MORE RUNNING AWAY!” Ares shouted as he dashed towards Orange with a brand new spear in his hand.
Once he got close to him, he threw his spear, piercing his body before blowing it up and shattering him to pieces of dirt all around the floor. The spear didn't stop for Orange’s body as it went to the wall as well and blew it up. The orange energy that Orange had was thrown outside by the explosion. stefan3B and Radu both looked up to see rubble fall down from the sky together with a thick splash of orange energy, which fell right in stefan3B’s open palms.
“What even… is this…?” stefan3B said, confused as Radu gasped slightly, without any reply.
stefan3B felt as if his hoodie wanted to store this said chunk of energy, so he pressed it against his chest. The hoodie quickly absorbed the piece of energy as if it never was there in the first place.
“Do you feel any different?” Radu asked.
“No… I think it just got stored inside.”
“I see… that's kind of weird, but good.”
Radu looked towards the other flesh tower.
“When are we going there?” Radu continued.
Ares suddenly fell down like a fireball from the top of the tower, followed by Silvian who slid against the wall gently until he was down.
“Now. We're going now.” Ares replied.
stefan3B saw Silvian tag along.
“Hey, aren't you the guy from earlier?” stefan3B asked calmly.
“Yeah. I couldn't just stand there and watch everyone get wiped.” Silvian said as he turned off his elementalist coat.
“Where's Darius though?” Radu suddenly asked.
“Who cares? He probably ran away like a coward. He always ruins everything anyways.” Ared replied coldly.
“Yikes…” Silvian said to himself quietly.
“We've got no time to wait. You, lightning rod, you're coming with us. Chop chop, get moving!” Ares said before blasting off towards the second tower.
stefan3B turned on ASM and followed him. Radu used his new leaping technique. Silvian watched them from behind for a few seconds before activating his elementalist coat and running after them.
…
“Stupid, stupid, stupid, stupid-” Darius kept chanting to himself in his mind when he suddenly felt the weakness of hell energy not get any stronger. Using all of the energy he could muster, he shocked himself at full power, freeing himself from the hell energy. Panting, he slowly made his way down the stairs before going outside and seeing everyone already far away. He sighed before activating his elementalist coat and trying to catch up.
