Despite all being terribly drunk, the three Sand ANBU who were pretending to be Mist ANBU, plus the one Sand ninja I would have to guess was a special jonin, were all putting in a good try. One reason I poisoned them with my cadaver clone was to slow down their movements so that the camera I have, recording this fight, could keep track of what they are doing. Ninjas normally move too fast for the camera to follow, but if the ground is slanted, slippery, and they are uncoordinated, now the camera has an easier time recording.
But this put me in a bit of a pickle. How do I beat these guys? Don’t get me wrong, I know I can win, there are a dozen different ways to beat these guys, but which way do I want to televise their smackdown? One problem with being a ninja is information; take Pain, for example.
Pain is a super powerful S-rank ninja, with some delusions of grandeur. Not that delusional, seeing he is still currently hiding inside the Rain village right now, but powerful nonetheless. Even he knows you can’t reveal all of your cards to the public. If Pain were here, he would almost exclusively use his Human path meat puppet to defeat everyone here, maybe use animal path alongside him, in case these guys had a trick up their sleeve.
I am going to turn in the video camera I have been recording all of this on to the Leaf village as evidence that I tried to One; de-escalate the conflict I currently find myself in. This will also Two; clear Pakura’s good name from the rumours surrounding the letter. And Three; to show off my strength to not just the Leaf, but to all the other villages.
This video will be acquired by every major village and major clan within their villages. I will be poured over and analyzed till the camera film goes bad. Most of the people who watch this are going to want to find ways to kill me, some will look at it and be inspired by the soon-to-be fifth Hokage prospect, and a few will look at it to strengthen themselves and try to replicate my success.
So that begs the question, what do I show? I have demonstrated my cadaver clone, a dead body I seal away at the hospital, and stuff it full of special poison that vaporizes when it comes into contact with air. Once the vapor touches a person's skin, it seeps in. It causes the side effects associated with overconsumption of alcohol, impaired judgment, motor functions, and speech, nausea, vomiting, memory loss, and even loss of consciousness.
I love my special poison. I had to argue with other medical ninjas in the capital when I made it. Every medical ninja feels insecure about their combat effectiveness and wants to go with a flashy, super lethal poison. I blame Hanzo from the Rain. He got the title ‘God of shinobie’ because of his poison that is so dangerous that even he has to wear a mask to protect himself from it, and now everyone wants to follow in his footsteps. It doesn’t help that Choi and Sasior both went so hard into the field of dangers, poisons, and that Sasior even managed to kill the third Kazekage, widely known as the strongest kage in the history of their village. Plus, Orochimaru and a few high-ranking ninja in other villages do the same.
So I get dirty looks from other medical ninjas when I want to make a poison that not only incapacitates other ninjas but looks normal to outside observers. “Hey, is our guard poisoned by a ninja, or just drunk from drinking too much sake?” The fact that I am currently fighting a four versus one against elite ninja assassins while thinking about the after-action report I am going to have to write about this, should make how effective my poison is, apparent to anyone.

I dodged and weaved the attacks of two of the assassins while the other two hung back, so as not to get in each other's way. One is chucking shuriken and kunai at me while the other is very slow in regards to other ninjas, performing hand signs to use a jutsu. Four versus one, two are using close quarters while two are using range. I know what I want to do.
Palming one of my scrolls, which I keep on my person, I parry and dodge two of my close-range attackers and leap into the air. I can practically see the hope in the eyes of the two long-range fighters as they think they have an easy target. Both the shurikenjutsu and a water bullet ninjutsu user release their attacks towards me. They intercept each other and diminish each other's power, but it’s a moot point, as in a puff of smoke, I summon the instrument of their demise.
***
On top of the castle, a thick cloud of smoke erupts and engulfs the two assassins' attacks. Outside the cloud, several loud thuds echoed, and the Sand shinobie took a second to look at each other in confusion, unsure of what to do. Suddenly, a hole is punched open in the smoke, and one of the ninja is flung back from an unseen impact. Pakura’s former teammate's body twists in midair, and he bounces and skids on the tiles until it slams against the pillar. The man was clearly out of the fight.
The other close-range fighter, after seeing her teammate laid out, leaps back a few paces and begins weaving hand signs to perform her own jutsu. Amon burst through the smoke and rushed the two sand shinobi who were attacking from a distance. Both grab their kunai and ready their stances the best they could, but then Amon chucks a large metal disc at one and hits the man so hard that it ricochets off of him and smacks into the other, causing him to nearly lose his footing.
The woman finishes her preparations and conjures a wolf made of pure lightning. The creature's purple and white form zips towards Amon, who spins, and using one of his bandages, retrieves the metal disk he threw just before the wolf makes contact. The wolf explodes in electrical energy, causing a blinding flash and sparks to fly out, scorching the surrounding area. The smell of smoke and ozone spread across the battlefield.
The Sand kunoichi raised her short sword, squinting through the haze to see if her attack worked. In the rising smoke and fading light of the explosion, a large, green, and white round metal shield is revealed in all its glory. In the smack dab center, Konoha’s Leaf symbol radiates from it. The shield had a thin blue barrier spinning rapidly around it, acting like a second layer. Amon poked his head out from around it, “Is that all you got, cause I can do this all day?”
The kunoichi lunges forward and throws her kunai while pulling back her sword to strike. Amon throws his shield and deflects the projectile, and continues forward towards her. She dodges the shield the first time, but Amon yanks it back after it passes her. She has to duck under the shield or get hit in the back of the head with it.
Ducking, she tries to rise again and plunge her sword into Amon’s chest, but her face meets Amon's upper cut, which he delivers with his other hand. Her body rockets up, her sandals still on the ground. Her body twirls gracefully in the sky before succumbing to gravity and plummeting back down, crashing and cratering the tile roof.
The two ranged attackers from before try to get back up, but Amon shoots bandages towards one, entangling him and yanking him off his feet, while Amon leaps at the man. The Leaf shield slams into the assassin's masked face, shattering the disguise and revealing a knocked-out, bloody, and defeated man.
Amon flings his shield like a yo-yo towards the last ranged assassin. He uses the slick tiles to his advantage, sliding down to avoid the attack while shooting water bullets at Amon. The now masked assassin's unconscious body is kicked aside by Amon so that the man's own ally’s jutsu wouldn’t hit him. A bandage was attached to him and wrapped around one of the decorations before he fell off the roof.
Amon uses another bandage to pull himself forward to interweave through the assassin’s water bullets. In the last moment, the assassin grabs a short sword from his back and slashes it towards Amon. Seeing the attack coming, Amon punches forward with his shield, the edge leading the way. The weapons collide, and the Sand ninja's blade shatters along with his jaw as Amon's shield pushes through, sending the man to the ground.
