An Update from Angie

Well hello there readers, it's me, Angie!

Not sure who let me have access to this chat channel, but I think it high time we had a little chat. The author would love to be here right now, but after spending the last week extensively pouring over Book 1, he's decided he needed to take just a few more days and left me in charge.

Now I know, I know, several dozen of you have loved me from the start and think I was absolutely perfect the way I was originally made. But alas, it wasn't meant to be my dear admirers. For you see, the author has decided that, as great as I was, I needed a little bit of refinement with the new stages that the Augment's Code is going to be reaching. To that end, there have been rather extensive updates to much of my dialogue throughout book one.

I still certainly won't let Loophole have a break or be boring and I still very much think Codex has a nice butt, that's not going to be changing anytime soon. But my goal is now (nor should it ever have been) not going to come off as outright antagonistic, a mark that was very clearly missed in my original version.

The author's tale has been misappropriated; report any instances of this story on Amazon.

Some changes will happen in the early chapters on Book 2 to better align with this new attitude, and I encourage you to read back through the first book to see how I have changed for the better! There are still a few changes that may be made before book 1 reaches its new heights, but the currently available chapters are a far better representation of me that previously available.

At this point, the author is currently planning to post one chapter this week on Friday, with a return to the normal Mon-Wed-Fri schedule the following week. This is largely just to give him a little bit of extra recovery time after an extensive period of editing, something that he apparently didn't realize would be as mentally taxing as it was.

We appreciate your understanding and hope you stick around, there's still so much more to come.
