Zhayne sighed, he focused his gaze on Leon "It.... won't work" he said
Leon frowned, puzzled. "Why are you so sure?".
"I know because of that...." Zhayne said, pointing to wall. A calendar hung there, and the date 29 July 2023 was circled in bold red ink. Surprised, everyone jumped out of their beds and rushed to see the calendar.
Jayson blinked rapidly, then opened his eyes wide, unable to believe what he was seeing. "No way...this cant be real" he said.
Zhayne fingers rested on the calendar as he was glancing at his watch. "I know it's hard to believe.. ,but that's only explanation for why the consta watch isn't working " Zhayne said.

Jayson turned his head slowly towards Zhayne. "what's the only possible explanation?" he said.

"uhm..... Guys, there is only four beds" Zhayne said, standing in middle of room. his fingers rubbed at his check. A heavy silence hung in the air, Zhayne lingered. he glanced at them, hoping someone would break silence and invite him.
"it's OK, you can sleep beside me" Jayson said, he smiled brightly, than tapped the bed beside him with a friendly gesture.
"Really?!, Tha-" Zhayne said, but before he could continue his sentence. The rest of them started glaring at him it clearly was an obvious hint to say no.
"you don't have to Jasyon, Zhayne you can sleep on the other side of my bed" Leon said, making space for Zhayne.
When Zhayne was about to sleep he found a hand from the bed above reaching down to hand him the bedding. "Here, you can use it as a pillow I'm too disgusted to use it anyway" Rafeal said.

They finally fell asleep. Alot of unexpected events occurred today, I'm really glad my Head lamp is working... Otherwise I wouldn't be able to tell you anything. Today the sight of people dying wasn't pleasant. Maybe the only reason I can write about it is I couldn't see it clearly. I was really afraid at first, but seeing others go through same experience made it less scary. especially Rafeal, he kept applying hand sanitizer for half an hour after he held Ron collar. As Rafael was brushing his teeth, His stared at Zhayne. A pale blue mask blurred his expression. Dresssed in star-patterned blue pajamas, he lifted a hand towards Zhayne. "he still hasn't woken up yet?"
"Let him sleep, he isn't doing you any harm" Vincent said, folding his blanket.
"your acting like I'm a bea-" Rafeal stopped mid-sentence as JAYSON SCREAMED, a sharp ear splitting sound that made him duck behind Leon.
"what's wrong Jay-" Leon started, stopping as he turned his head and saw the door. The door had a large, deep scratch like a beast claw mark with a small scratch beside it. A sticky, Yellowish liquid was leaking from the scratch.
"What on earth...?" Rafael said. He placed his toothbrush on his bed then slowly started approaching the door along with the rest.
As Leon struggled through the sticky liquid, he reached the door. He cautiously touched the gooey substance. "I never seen something like that before" he said, trying to remove it from his hand.
While They were busy looking at the door, Leon went to grab wet tissue form the desk. Suddenly Zhayne woke up, his eyes half-open, hair messy. Startled, Leon jumped slightly. He quickly sat on chair. "Good morning" he said, grabbing a wet tissue.
"Since Zhayne already woke up let's go look around" Vincent said. He swung door open.
"Wait!.... Wait for me" Jayson said, trying to catch up with Vincent. Leon went after them, worried they would get lost.
Rafael changed into his school uniform, grabbed the key, and as he was closing the door, he muttered "these guys don't have any survival instincts, don't you think?"
Rafael was waiting for a reply but Zhayne didn't answer. He stood there, his back to Rafael, as if lost in thought.
