"Everything went out of control when we entered and saw what was mostly unbelievable to most people..."
Inside one of the Colossal Doors, a group of slayers ventured deeper to investigate. They encountered monsters and creatures along the way, but with the abilities they possessed, they were able to defeat them.
The group consisted of twelve members: five A-ranks, four B-ranks, and three C-ranks. Each of them was capable of protecting themselves because of the powers they had been gifted.
During one of the fights, Josh, a B-rank member, was injured by one of the creatures. Cindy, an A-rank healer, immediately rushed to treat him. Her hands glowed softly as she sealed torn muscle and restored flesh. Josh expressed his gratitude for her always being there for them, and she responded with quiet modesty.
As they continued their journey, Cindy and Brian walked beside each other, talking about how lucky the group was to have her. Cindy insisted that everyone played their part. Their conversation shifted to their abilities, and Cindy admitted she was impressed by Brian's ability to master every element he possessed. Before Brian could answer, Lucky, an A-rank, interrupted and began bragging about his ability to destroy anything he touched. Cindy was unimpressed and dismissed him, while Brian simply smiled.
The captain, another A-rank, stepped in with his usual positive attitude and reminded them that all of them had unique powers. The Colossal Doors had gifted them differently. Jack, however, disagreed. He argued that some had been unfortunate, granted abilities too weak to face monsters without weaponry or artifacts. His comment created tension between him and Cindy, while Brian nearly dozed off as they walked.
THE COLOSSAL DOORS, No one knows how or why they appeared. One night, a door opened, and creatures poured out, killing countless people. Soldiers tried to stop them, but the creatures retreated back through the door before it closed. It was later discovered that the creatures only emerged at night and that Colossal Doors had appeared all around the world.
Another shocking discovery was that the doors did not lock people out. If someone approached and touched a door, it would open and allow entry. One day, a fleet of soldiers entered a Colossal Door. Only three returned. They had killed nothing, but everyone else had died.
As days passed, those three soldiers began manifesting strange abilities. The military investigated and conducted trials, discovering that these abilities were far more effective against the creatures than ordinary weapons. More soldiers entered the doors, and more returned with powers. Society shifted. Some refused powers out of fear. Some gained abilities too weak to fight and were barred from entering the doors. Others gained powers strong enough to challenge the creatures. Those became known as Creature/Monster Slayers.
Geologists later discovered diamonds inside the doors that were effective against the creatures. These diamonds were crafted into weaponry, enhancing abilities that required artifacts for full combat potential. After five years of restriction, humanity regained stability and could even go out at night again. Still, the mystery of the Colossal Doors remained unsolved.
Brian accidentally bumped into the Priest, a B-rank slayer, as he dozed off while walking. He apologized. The Priest first gave him a sharp, almost frightening look, then reassured him with a gentle smile.

When Brian looked ahead, he saw that everyone had stopped. Before them stood a strange Colossal Door.
"Well, this is a strange Colossal Door," said the Captain.
"Yeah, nothing like this has ever been reported," said Lucky.
It was a Colossal Door inside another Colossal Door, but unlike any they had seen. It bore crafted features and carved images they could not understand. The Captain stepped forward and touched it. The door opened instantly.
Some hesitated, but the group entered.
Inside was nothing. An empty room. The ground was engraved with intricate designs. Timmy, a B-rank slayer, suggested it might be a resting place for creatures. Lydia disagreed, questioning why there were no creatures inside.
"Maybe they've gone hunting," Timmy said.
"While the doors are still closed for them? I don't think so," Lydia replied.
Cindy felt uneasy. Brian tried to reassure her, but Jack interfered, claiming he would protect her. That only irritated Cindy further.
Eventually, they decided to leave. Rich, a C-rank slayer, reached for the door and tried to open it. It did not respond. He tried again. Nothing.
Suddenly, a massive shadow formed around Cindy, Jack, and Brian. Molly began shaking at what had appeared behind them, and the others showed shocking faces. The three turned slowly.
A colossal, god-like being stood before them.
Rich panicked and desperately tried to open the door again, but it would not move. The being stood motionless. Then, a colossal chair materialized behind it. The being moved which shocked the group, and sat.
The Captain tried to calm the group, though even the Priest struggled to comprehend what he was witnessing. Then a glowing circle appeared around Jack.
On the wall behind the being, glowing letters began forming in a blue-to-green hue.
THE CHOSEN ONE ANSWERS: NAME ALL THE 10 GRACES?
Jack was confused until Cindy explained. "Jack you have to answer, you are the one inside the circle. you are the chosen one"
Unfortunately, Jack knew nothing about the Graces. He had never listened to the elders' myths and never believed them. He admitted he knew nothing. He grew annoyed at the being's unblinking stare and shouted that he would not answer.
Silence fell.
Then, on the left side of the room, a colossal soldier-like being appeared, holding a spear. Without hesitation, it threw the spear directly at Jack.
BANG!!!
The shockwave sent those near Jack flying. When the dust settled, Jack was dead. The spear faded. The soldier-being vanished.
No one moved.
Then Lydia was surrounded by the circle. Panicking, she ran out of it. The circle turned from blue to red. That became a grave mistake. The Colossal Soldier-being, another one appeared. This one was holding a bow with an arrow while Lydia was running. The soldier-being shot the arrow and just as she was running to the door, BANG! The arrow hit her with every torso scattered around. The group began to panic, screams all over while the soldier-being was disappearing.
Brian and Captain are being in disbelief of the situation, but Brian hears Cindy's trembling voice calling him. "Brian!..." The circle has surrounded Cindy. With Brian fast thinking, he tells Cindy not to talk or get out of the circle. They both look at a wall and it's still the same question. Then they look at the being which was only looking at Cindy. Brian tells Cindy only 4 graces he remembers for her to answer.
"The grace Caltoum, Elarion, Omnivar, and Jury," answered Cindy
As they checked, nothing happened. Brian asks the captain to give Cindy the rest, but he only remembers two.
"The grace Noelle and Drakov," answered Cindy
There were only 4 graces left. Molly told Cindy one grace, the Grace Federal, then Lucky gave her one, he remembers from a hard brainstorming, the Grace Silicone, but as no one else seemed to remember. Brian tried his hardest to think of the stories, as all hope seemed dim until the priest said the names in a slight voice. They all tended to him to say them again.
"The grace Gorman and Lucy," said the priest
Cindy got a bit hesitant from fear, but answered. Silence raised but the circle disappeared along with the questions. Cindy went down on her knees from fear while the others were still shocked and afraid at what had happened. Brian took a long look at the colossal god-like being just sitting down there. As he was staring the being eyes directed straight at Brian.
