Eroan looks back to check if something was wrong; however, as he tries to look, his eyes in shock freeze and then he faints. The next moment, he finds himself sleeping on his bed, curious about what happened there and how he got there, but to his surprise, he didn't see anything when he looked behind, and he had fainted there due to exhaustion. His fingers twitched against the bedsheet, as if they still remembered the tension. He has no memories of what happened after he fainted. He knew that someone had carried him to his room but didn't have much of an idea of who had done that. Only a hunch , he thought that maybe Raiun carried him to his room.
Then he wakes up from his bed and, to check if everything was a dream or not, he gets a good look at his surroundings and finds out that everything was real as his belongings: the steel blade, Lumero's dagger, and his crafted sword ,were present in his house. The familiar weight of them in the corner was like seeing old friends after a long time — friends who usually brought trouble. Seeing them here, he feels relief but also the fear of getting into troublesome situations. He had many of his questions unanswered — that’s what feared him the most, the vulnerability of existing in a world without knowing what it is.
He washes his face and, while doing so, notices that his pupil colour has completely changed, making it dark blue, though it was just his left eye. After seeing it, he says, "I knew eye colour could change naturally, but how did it change in one night?" While checking his eye carefully, he says, "Everything else is fine except for the left eye, must be something related to yesterday's fight." His voice wavered, like he was trying to convince himself more than anyone else.
After that, he takes his shower early in the day as usual and soon comes back to his room with his towel laying around his neck to chest. As his body aches more, he looks at the mirror to check if he had gotten any bruises from yesterday's battle against Lumero. Everything seems normal and no bruises or signs of being hurt. Even the skin over his ribs, where Lumero’s blade had skimmed him, was smooth like the fight had been erased.
He gets changed and wears a black T-shirt with off-white pants, then looks at the mirror again to fix his hair. However, after a while of looking at the mirror, the weather gets real bad as everything around starts to get dark, raining, bolting. Eroan goes to the window to close it and also shuts off the balcony glass sliding door.
As he closes the windows, the electricity goes out. Eroan sighs, saying, "Huh! What else is left??" Then he turns on the AC lights, and as rain increases with bolting, the lights start flickering. Eroan looks at the lightning bolt in the mirror’s reflection and, while seeing it, he notices something else. It wasn’t the bolt that made him freeze — it was the shadow that seemed to linger a heartbeat too long.
He noticed something otherworldly that made him stop like a statue. Everything was quiet, like a storm holding its breath before rushing to its destination. The window he closed just a moment ago opened from the tremendous wind pressure because he forgot to lock it.
What Eroan saw in the mirror was nothing but his reflection, though one totally different from him. The lights started flickering again, and Eroan stands there as he just stares at the mirror without blinking even once. He just keeps staring at it, his eyes in complete disbelief. Then, from Eroan's eyes to the shift of mirror reflection, we see another Eroan surrounded with black aura all over his body. The black smoke clung to the reflection like oil in water, writhing as if it wanted to escape the glass.

It was the same person but still completely different. It stood there in a bad posture, had black-colored hair, burning scars all over his body, cuts on his face, and his index finger was glowing as a dark blue light was coming from it, surrounding it. The places where he had bruises on his reflection began to have pitch-black flames on them, and it was smiling menacingly at Eroan.
The darkness surrounding his reflection came out of the mirror, reaching for him. A few moments later, when it was about to reach him, the lights suddenly blew up and Eroan finally blinked and then he saw his weird reflection had gone. The silence after the lights popped was worse than the storm outside.
As soon as he saw that his reflection had gone, he came back to his senses and breathed heavily while sweating, grasping the situation he was in.
He quickly rushes to his dining room and grabs a glass of water. After drinking it, he calms down slightly. The glass felt heavier than usual, as if the tension in his arms had made even this simple task difficult.
After calming down, he questions himself if what he saw was real or rather a hallucination. He asks himself, "What was that! Is that a new form of hallucination for me? I gotta see him soon."
To check things, he looks into his ring to see if anything was wrong with it. He tried to pull it but couldn't do it at all. Seeing his strength fail, he brings a combination of pliers to pull off that ring, but when it gets in contact with the ring, it turns black and disappears. Eroan, in a loud voice, says, "Damn! I knew something was wrong with it." He felt a twitch of frustration in his jaw.
Then he tries a few more objects to pull that ring off, but all of them end up the same, making his efforts wasted in vain. After doing that much, he tries one last time with his left arm to pull it off, but this time he gets a shock and is sent flying directly into the bookshelf as some invisible force hits him. Books rained down around him; the sound of each hitting the floor made him laugh almost comically.
Then he awes in pain and stretches his back, touching it to ease the ache. As the books keep falling on his head, he looks up and says, "No! Please." Right at that moment, while his hands are behind his back, due to extreme fatigue and pain, a trophy falls on his head. Eroan screams, "Ahhh!!" The brief moment of absurdity, a trophy landing on his head — made him almost want to laugh despite the pain.
Later, we see him lying down on the bed with a towel tied up on his forehead soaked with water, while his hands are behind his head. He’s just lying there a little away from where his pillow is, thinking about what he's going to do today.
Then, at that moment, a sound reaches his ears. It’s his phone ringing because Shina had called him. Eroan grabs his phone clumsily; it almost falls from his hands, and then he receives the call.
As he receives the call and is about to say, "Hey!" Shina interrupts him midway, saying in a caring tone, "Eroan! Are you okay? How are you?"
Eroan, surprised by her concern, tells Shina, "Yeah, I'm fine. What's with you?"
Shina gasps as she is relieved and says, "Ooh! Thank God. Yeah, that I hear you’re fine, I'm alright."
Hearing that, Eroan becomes really confused but happy at the same time. His smile fades as Shina scolds him for not answering her calls, "You dummy, if you were fine why didn't you receive my calls? Idiot!" The mixture of relief and scolding made him chuckle quietly, despite the storm raging outside.
Hearing all that, Eroan moves the phone a little way from his ears, as the sound was getting to him just enough. A moment later, Shina tells him, "Well, one thing you should know is that school is closed today because it was heavily damaged by the storm yesterday."
He knew immediately that it wasn't just the storm, but his fight yesterday that caused the damage. He smirks a little and says, "Ooh! Thanks for letting me know."
When Eroan gets up from his bed and stands, he feels a sharp body ache, causing him to lose his voice for a moment. He stutters while trying to speak.
Shina, worried about Eroan, asks him, "What happened, Eroan!! Are you alright?"
A minute later, Eroan barely manages to control the pain and says to Shina, "No worries, I'm alright. It was nothing but a simple body ache."
Hearing that, she says, "To me, it doesn't look like a simple body ache. I'll come to your house right now."
Eroan, speechless, says, "Huh! You know, it's raining. You wouldn't be able to come in this weather. If you still worry and want to meet, I'll pick you up by 5 p.m. Be ready."
Shina, puzzled about what he just said. Eroan asks, "You okay with it, Shina?"
All flustered, she says, "hmm!" and then cuts the phone. the tiny pause left him amused.
