  The closer they got, the could tell the city was different from the rest, they had power something lost since the fall, how had they gotten it all? They wondered getting closer to the city's gate. Their defense was impenetrable and perfect, four rows of soldiers stood guard all suited up for combat and at the gate stood three soldiers who by the looks of things had the duty of escorting anyone who seeks refuge in the city to the clearance center where they had to be examined for infection.

  Zack, and su had already taken been done with they're inspection and we're not waiting for Chloe to join them too but what happened next they had never anticipated.

  "SHE'S BITTEN!!"a nurse who had had them examined yelled running out, this attracted the guards who stood out rushing in with their guns raised in front of them ready to fire at anytime

  "Stop!!....she's not infected!"Zack yelled standing in front of Chloe and using himself as a human shield, "dammit, his the hell did we forget about the goddamn bite mark?"Zack thought his teeth gnashed against each other while he observed the movement of every guards in the center.

  "Move it be shot......, the infected needs to be taken care of immediately, you gave nothing to do with this, this is your last warning" they warned but Zack had already made up his mind, he wasn't moving no matter what

  "I'll count from five downwards if you are not out by the time I get to zero, I'll order my men to put an end to both you and that girlfriend of yours"a deep tone voice warned. It was the captain and he didn't look like he was there to play. "FIVE" he started his count but Zack wasn't afraid, I instead his had his eyes all over the room they were trapped in, he was searching for an escape route or a way to buy he and Chloe alittle more time but it was pointless, europa's buildings were built differently and had no flaws, "what do I do?"Zack thought desperately trying to search for a way out

  "You don't have to do this Zack, it's me they want, not you...you can still get out of this unharmed if you step away"Chloe whispered to him, but he still hasn't changed his mind, "screw that.... we're in this together ain't we?......"Zack replied with a smile stareing at Chloe

  "Guess, I'll be seeing you soon, Chloe"Zack pouted, letting out a sigh he was ready to go "no!!, no don't!!, let em go!!"su yelled, her fingered tightly gripped around a soldiers uniform while she tried persuading them but her efforts proved fruitless as they were less concerned about her and her presence in that room seemed to be insignificant to them.

  "Touch a hair on their head and be stripped off your rank captain" a feminine voice said, this voice it sounded familiar somehow to Chloe, she was too sure she knew who it was but as the lady who spoke walked in Chloe figured they sounded alike but looked nothing in comparison

  "Hi.....I'm doctor Al Lisa, head scientist of europa's finest and second in command to europa's order table......, I've been sent to welcome you home by the creator of Europa herself"Lisa introduced her index finger pointed at Chloe, confused Zack, Chloe and su stared at her, "welcome me home?"Chloe asked.

  "I know you're confused at the moment and don't really know what's going on but it'll all b explained in due time, right now you need to take a shower, eat and get familiar with your new environment"Lisa explained, she was just about to head out of the room she had brought Chloe into, Zack and su had already been assigned rooms and we're not with Chloe at the moment, "I'll be back later to take you to europa's first lady"Lisa concluded waving goodbye as she walked away.

  "*We'll be meeting again quite soon, although all grown up you still look the same as you did eleven years ago, time sure flies fast doesn't it*

  *Like I said Chloe, tonight at the meeting*"

  "She didn't answer any of my questions"Chloe huffed laying down on the bed behind her, as soon as she did she moaned satisfyingly

  "Hadn't slept in something this soft, for months now"she smiled getting up and taking off her shirt while standing in front of the wall mirror kept in her room. Taking a little bath wouldn't hurt she sighed walking slowly and getting into the bathtub. She had t felt this relaxed in a while, and this new feeling of satisfaction she hoped would last longer than most did, wiping off some dirt off her arm she wrapped her arms around her, her chin suddenly turning red

  She found Zacks words replaying in her mind like a note during a full moon, she couldn't quite understand what he meant by that, or if he even meant it at all.

  The day went by fast and before long, Chloe, Zack and su were being escorted down a luxurious hall by Lisa, Chloe found it quite hard to believe such a place existed even after the fall, but although the city looked safe and charming from the inside, there was no doubt in their minds it didn't come with a price, Zack and Chloe had already observed how large the guards around the city and In the city are, that was the key to their success and maintain of order, 'through the sacrifice of a fellow man',

  "How many guards die in and out here a day?"Zack asked, he had spoken without thinking and had let his curiousity get the better of him, but Lisa answered without thinking much of it, she wanted them to feel as safe and as home as possible

  "Fifty to seventy in total......, it's simple, they come and they go, that's how it's been since the all right?"Lisa answered "but that shouldn't be a problem soon as our research are approaching a breakthrough on a project they're working on, if it works out no man, or guard in Europa will ever be sent to out to fight against monsters again"Lisa informed with a smile on her face, Chloes gaze were still fixed on Lisa, her voice sounded to damn familiar and just now she resembled someone Chloe knew, or seemed to had known before

  "Who was she really?"Chloe thought still stareing at Lisa as they came to a stop. In front of them and at the end of the hall a large door could be found.

  "We're here" Lisa announced pulling the door open using a huge metallic handle.
