Chapter 6: Sixth Day

  I wake up only to see a lot of colours and don't how to differentiate everything yet, I try getting up and push myself from the ground

  baby 'I can push myself up?'

  I look down and I see I have new arms.

  Baby 'But how'

  As soon as i think that windows appear but I can't see them well so I wait a bit for my sigh to adapt

  5 minutes later

  I can finally see better and check my windows

  Yeah that sure is a big growth from my puny 5 mm well I should find something to eat and look at my new appearance. I grab the books and put them inside my pouch and I suddenly feel like my body weight has increased. It seems the weight of the things I put inside is spread on my whole body and now I'm outta here

  While I'm getting out I see a lot of insects i wouldn't have noticed with my previous eyes. I eat all the insects on my way to the exit but still its not enough to fill me. Once I'm out I look around and see a river not too far from here so I go there to fish a bit. I get my head on top of the water to see a black head with weird eyes and dark coloured tips.When I'm done looking at myself I use my tail as a fishing hook and release the centipede legs and wait for a catch.

  Thanks to my high luck I didn't have to wait for long so grab him with the legs and pull it out. I hold him up and experiment with it.

  first I use my hand to make a small hole and then I activate the curse. A small tread is getting out and going in my mouth to finally go to my stomach. I deactivate the curse and make a bigger wound and let the blood flow to the ground. After 2 minutes I activate the curse again and all the blood of the fish and what fell to the ground is going to my belly. finally I swallow the empty fish and resume my fishing.

  I eat three more fish but it's not enough so I go in the forest to find bigger prey and 5 minute later I see a lone boar digging. I approach from behind to end bellow its belly and with my eyes I already know where to strike to reach the heart so I go in for a one hit kill with my claws. I quickly go get out of there to wait for it to fall, when it finally fell I activated the curse and luckily it works with the dead. Right I'm witnessing a boars body shrivelling like a dry grape, when it stops I swallow the whole body and finally i feel satiated.

  I go on my way home and eat other passing animals I see. I finally arrive home but it's getting dark so I hasten the pace. I see that mother is still covering her eggs, I climb on top of her head and go towards her mouth and enter. I can see the fangs and go towards the one i was perched at the last time. I surround the fang with my body and begin sucking on it luckily mother didn't wake up.

  Baby 'I'm back' before continuing my night snack

  Mother POV

  I wake up this morning but feel like I'm missing something but don't know what, I open my mouth only to feel a weight on one of my fangs and realize it's being sucked and pretty fast too. I slap at it with my tongue and feel something crawling to the top of my mouth. I finally see what it was and feel like I know what it is but can't seem to remember.

  Mother 'Who are you?'

  after i ask that I see him tearing up its mouth wide open i think it's about to cry

  Baby 'How could you forget about me I came back from the poison cave during the night'

  Mother 'What happened for you to have turned like this?'

  Baby 'I ate everything that was inside even the thing that was making the miasma cloud also there was a floating dark ball that summoned more food even thought there were hard things I ate it all, I can draw if you want'

  Mother 'Draw everything you ate on the ground'

  She's drawing a centipede, animal corpses, spiders, eggs, big egg, cocoons and one with a rat inside of it, the spider queen, holy crystals, a human skeleton, a ball of flame, robes, elemental gems, a sword, a pair of daggers, a demon's horn, a necklace and a pouch.

  Mother 'What do you put inside your mouth while being so little, did something happen when you ate all does things?'

  Baby 'Yes blue boxes appeared and told me I gained a stomach of iron because while I was eating them they kept moving and hurting me from inside and after I ate everything that I just drew a bigger box appeared that told me chaotic energy was mutating my body and that I would suffer after that I felt like my body was ripped apart everywhere and fell unconscious and when I woke up I was like this. Was it okay for me to eat these' he points towards the daggers and sword

  I think for a moment everything he told me and after thinking about it i decided to take out something out of my body it was a 2 handed giant sword, one of the adventures who came after my life years ago was swallowed by me along with the thing.

  Baby 'How did you do that?'

  Mother 'There are some snakes like us that swallow hard objects like swords or shields, when that happens we develop a pocket stomach, normally we develop it when we are big and swallow hard things but you instead consumed the item and i think its energy too since it changed you' to confirm my suspicions i ask' was there a circle with these?' I point towards the crystal

  Baby 'Yes I will draw it' she draws the circle and I end up more surprised than I thought i would be.

  Mother 'Was there a lot of those crystals?'

  Baby 'Yes a hundred of them and I ate them all even though it was slow going'

  Mother 'You must be blessed or something for you to survive that'

  Baby 'There's a box that tells me about myself and there's blessing of Kali'

  Mother 'Good now I know how you can survive while doing stupid things, she's the main goddess around here and she oversees survival,desire and evolution. Can you show me your box, you just have to think you want to show me'

  Baby POV

  I can't do that it will reveal the things I want to keep hidden what can I do. Then I think I want to hide all the titles except the glutton one, reduce my mental attributes to 15, hide my mind resistance and affinity and finally I hide all the traits except those I got after being born, soul eater, the blessing of Kali and modify the descriptions so they don't mention the other world. I think about showing it to her.

  I see her reading seriously

  After 20 minutes

  Mother 'Why are you so weak?'

  Baby 'What do you mean?'

  Mother 'I mean you are 3 times weaker then a normal baby, on average a baby starts with 90 in it's physical attributes'

  Baby 'What!!!'That means if I had waited the full time for my body to develop normally I would have been 90 times weaker and not just that but I was 5 times weaker when I got out of the egg.

  Mother 'Yes, also you developed a different type of indestructible stomach that consumes things and the energy they possess is preserved in that stomach until your next growth or evolution, that's why you are still alive even thought you put a sword down your throat and consumed it slowly, also why you have this appearance. You see mutation can only occur when the body contains too much energy inside to be contained by your current body, normally after the birth trial you grow enough to contain power, but since you did it while using your small body before the trial, you can consider yourself lucky you didn't explode'

  Baby 'What is the trial?'

  Mother 'You see normally you shouldn't be born yet, but you got out from your egg too soon and because of that your growth period as not started yet. It will start the same day you were supposed to be born because the growth period is determined by the number of days the egg gets out of the mother and the reptiles in this forest have what is called the birth trial of survival, its a trial where the babies are left alone in the middle of the forest for the duration of their growth spurt period, they have to do anything to survive, the trial exist because when it was time for the children to get out of the nest, they would die too quickly and the parents would be the ones crying because of it. When the children are in their trial we survey the area to ensure they don't leave the forest because we kill those that try to leave, after the period is finished we call you back to the place where we will leave you'

  baby 'Ok, hum can i eat that?'i point toward the sword.

  Mother 'Go ahead'

  I go toward it and try my best to eat it from the top to the tip.

  Mother 'let's continue talking about your abilities while you eat, i think your chaos sight originally would have been the mana sight from that soul you ate but because you ate all those things it mutated, the cursed attack must be from those weapons you ate, the gravity curse from one of the accessories, durable muscles must have been the cause of your little body trying to compensate for your lack of immediate strength and for the dimensional pouch,i need to confirm something first, how did it look from outside?'

  Baby 'It was full of scales with drawings on top'

  Mother 'That pouch was made by using a snake whom developed a pocket stomach, i know because we are the best material for it and they just need to put an enchantment for it to be completed. I think you completely absorbed it and fused it with your body when you mutated, do you have anything inside?'

  baby 'Yes, I have this' I get a book out and put it on the ground.'

  Mother 'Do you feel lighter now?'

  baby 'Yes'

  Mother 'so it's just a space/time enchantment'

  Baby 'Space/time?'

  Mother 'You can put anything inside as long as you carry the weight' i put the book back inside

  Baby 'Ok' I finish swallowing the sword and now that i look at the entire body of mother i can see energy pulse here and there coming from inside her.

  Baby 'Can i go find more food?'

  Mother 'yes you can go'

  I crawl towards her mouth and go inside

  Mother 'What are you doing?'

  Baby 'Find more food inside'
