Chapter 4
Raizo stepped forward, his voice carrying a taunting edge:
"Oi, royal blood brat! You must be here to destroy the Mana Organization, right? Well… it’s too late now!"
Moryo remained silent, but his determination was unwavering as green sparks danced around his clenched fist. His voice was resolute, calm, and defiant:
"It’s not over yet. And if it is… I’ll carve out a new opportunity from nothing."
The corridor fell silent, except for the howling wind. Snowflakes drifted gently, but the battle ahead would be anything but gentle.
Suddenly, Moryo dashed toward his opponents, green sparks wildly dancing around his body, while Jan followed closely behind, glowing red embers crackling around him. Their movements were as swift as sound, scattering the snow behind them like a raging white storm.
With a furious shout, Moryo raised his palm forward. A green spark shot out of his hand like a destructive laser beam, streaking toward his enemies.
On the other side, Spailo, Raizo, and Golobet stood observing the incoming green beam. Spailo waved his hand dismissively, his voice dripping with boredom as he spoke:
"How dull! Let me handle them myself."
But Raizo cut him off with a mysterious smile:
"Stop, Spailo."
Spailo halted as instructed, though his mocking smirk remained. Suddenly, from the shadows, a colossal golden specter leaped forward—it was Onoko. He extended his palm toward the incoming green beam.
The moment they collided, an immense explosion erupted. Snow blasted in all directions, and a thick cloud of smoke engulfed the battlefield, making it impossible to see.
As the dense smoke spread, everyone exchanged wary glances. Raizo’s voice broke the silence, calm yet brimming with confidence:
"When a member of the three great clans loses someone dear and refuses to let go… they can keep them forever."
Spailo turned to Raizo, his expression still filled with mockery:
"What do you mean? Are you seriously believing in legends now?"
Raizo smirked faintly, his gaze fixed on the swirling smoke. With pride in his tone, he responded:
"It’s not a legend. When someone from the clans dies, they can enter the Realm of Contract."
Confusion flickered across Spailo’s face, and he asked with curiosity:
"The Realm of Contract?"
Raizo continued, his voice carrying a sense of deep understanding:
"The Realm of Contract is a place where an heir can bind their soul to the soul of their beloved, creating a powerful specter under their control. This specter is called 'Onoko.' My lover was from the Silano Clan, and that’s why Borna became my specter."
As the smoke gradually cleared, —Onoko Borna—emerged in her majestic golden form, clutching the green spark tightly in her grasp. The energy struggled to break free, but her grip was unyielding until it completely faded, leaving behind only a faint wisp of smoke rising from her palm.
Moryo and Jan recoiled in shock, their eyes wide as they took in the sight before them. Jan murmured in awe:
"What is this? Is it a Shikigami?"
Before they could even process the situation, Borna vanished from their sight—only to reappear behind them in a fraction of a second.

A wave of terror surged through Moryo’s mind as he thought anxiously:
"She can’t possibly be this fast!"
Before he could react further, Borna lunged at them. With a single devastating kick from her massive foot, their bodies were launched into the air like wooden dolls, triggering a violent airburst that sent them crashing far away from the mountain.
Raizo stepped toward Borna, his expression filled with pride. He let out a mocking laugh:
"Well done, Borna! That was spectacular!"
Borna turned to him, her glowing golden eyes piercing the silence as she spoke in a chilling voice:
"Really? Are you happy now?"
Raizo responded with unwavering confidence:
"You’ve always been magnificent. Now, return."
Borna looked at him in surprise but soon lowered her head:
"As you wish."
Golden sparks flickered around her body before she vanished completely, as if she had never been there.
Raizo turned to his companions, his voice steady and resolute:
"The pests are gone. It’s time to finish our mission."
Golobet chuckled lightly and stepped closer:
"Of course. Let’s get it done."
But Spailo remained silent. His eyes, cast downward, reflected a mix of deep contemplation and concern.
The battlefield fell into an eerie stillness, broken only by the howling winds and the relentless snowfall blanketing the land of Kaisima.
—
In the Beura region, the city was bustling with noise—the roar of cars echoed everywhere, and the flow of pedestrians moved like an unending current. Suddenly, two bodies were seen hurtling from the sky at meteoric speed, crashing into a towering building, shattering glass upon impact before breaking through the walls and landing inside.
Moryo and Jan tumbled across the floor amid the chaotic mess of shattered glass and damaged office equipment. The office workers lifted their heads in astonishment; the sounds of printers and keyboards ceased, and expressions of shock and awe filled their faces.
The interior was a network of cubicles, each with a modern computer stationed atop. For a brief moment, the employees held their breath, their gazes locked onto the two figures who had appeared out of nowhere.
Moryo slowly stood up, his face darkening with frustration as he muttered:
"Goddamn it! What kind of power is this?!"
Meanwhile, Jan got to his feet as well, brushing off the dust from his tattered clothes, his expression a mixture of shock and confusion.
The silence was broken by one of the employees, who cautiously stepped forward and asked with curiosity and disbelief:
"What just happened? Are you two okay? And how are you still alive after all that?! It looked like you were thrown from an incredible distance!"
Moryo shot him a cold glare, his sharp eyes carrying an unspoken warning against getting any closer. Jan, on the other hand, seemed perplexed, his youthful features betraying his astonishment.
A female employee stepped forward, her gaze locked onto Moryo as if scrutinizing him carefully. Her voice trembled with fear as she spoke:
"A-Are you the sorcerer… Moryo Raiso?"
Moryo didn't respond. His icy stare alone was enough to make her step back slightly. But she continued in a shaky voice:
"I heard that the Mana Organization has issued an execution order against you! We should report this immediately!"
At the mention of the Mana Organization, the entire atmosphere shifted. The once-lively office plunged into heavy silence. Fear swiftly spread among the employees—faces paled, movements froze, and anxious eyes darted around in panic.
Moryo began walking toward the shattered window, his steps steady, indifferent to the chaos surrounding him. His voice was calm yet laced with chilling detachment as he said:
"No need to report anything. We're already facing them."
Jan silently followed as Moryo stepped onto the edge of the broken window, then casually walked forward—as if treading on air. Jan watched him for a moment before taking off after him.
As shards of glass rained down, suspended in the air around them, Moryo spoke in a low voice, though his tone carried a deep sense of irritation:
"We couldn’t contain them. We’ll need another attempt."
Jan, still processing everything, responded with a mix of curiosity and uncertainty:
"But… isn't Spailo Rashid among them? I mean… Suero's brother?"
Moryo's voice turned cold as ice:
"Yes. He abandoned the Sorcerers' Organization and joined the Rizsius Organization, just like Master Sbyam’s old friend did."
Jan hesitated for a moment before asking:
"So, what do we do now?"
Moryo’s tone remained firm yet composed:
"The answer is obvious. They're planning something big. The fact that Director Golobet is with them confirms it. There are things happening in the shadows… but whatever they’re scheming, I won’t let them succeed."
Jan straightened up, his determination reignited:
"Do we go after them again?"
Moryo nodded, his resolve unwavering:
"Absolutely."
In a blink, the two soared into the sky, vanishing without a trace. The only thing left behind was the lingering rush of wind and the terrified eyes of the office workers staring at the empty horizon, as silence once again reclaimed the space.

In the Country of Arcadia
In a vast square within the country of Arcadia, ranks of soldiers stood in perfect formation, their faces reflecting unwavering seriousness. Their weapons rested against their shoulders, their stance as firm and disciplined as statues.
Before them stood their Marshal—a bald man with dark skin, his features carved with sheer authority. His voice boomed through the air:
"Tell me, why are you here?"
The soldiers responded in unison, their voices merging into a single forceful entity:
"To sacrifice for the people!"
The Marshal smirked in satisfaction before declaring,
"But you do realize that Arcadia does not need you, don’t you?"
With fierce conviction, they shouted back:
"It is not she who needs us, sir! It is we who need her!"
Nodding in approval, the Marshal tone turned sharp and resolute:
"An order has been issued: If Captain Raizo fails, you will remain stationed near the nation of Kaisima. Upon mission failure, you will invade the country and begin extermination. Air forces will provide support, and you will be supplied with tanks and all necessary ammunition for the operation. Are there any questions?"
The soldiers stomped their feet in perfect unison, their voices ringing through the air:
"Victory is ours! We are ready!"
The Marshal surveyed them with satisfaction before turning away, clasping his hands behind his back as he strode out of the square with steady, commanding steps. Silence fell over the area, a solemn intensity hanging in the air.

The Containment Realm
In the Containment Realm, where eternal darkness swallowed the horizon, the world itself seemed to have faded away, leaving behind only an infinite void.
At the heart of this nothingness, a tall man with white hair walked forward with steady steps, his expression cold and unreadable—it was Sbyam Brius.
He continued until he reached a solitary house standing in the midst of the abyss. Seated in front of it was an elderly man with white hair, his face adorned with a calm, knowing smile.
Sbyam stopped at the entrance, gazing at the old man in silence. Then, without hesitation, he stepped forward, entering the house, prepared for what awaited him.
