  When i search for food in the canopy i found a colony of the squirell that attacked me back then, i consider to attack them, but their numbers make me doubt that i can win, so i backed off stealthtily.

  After that, i started to hunt small animals. What i'm curious now, if i ate some kind of flying creature , can i generate wings and fly? Although i didn't have such luck finding one.

  When i was busy hunting small lizard and roddent, i felt something was watching me. Although when i looked around i didn't find anything. Or maybe i'm not silent enough, so my presence already alerted them?

  I explored the other part of the forest, staying away from the giant squirell nest.

  I found a small stream nearby, northwest from my original point.

  There i saw the samekind of giant bullfrog that tried to eat me before. There was atleast ten of them where i can see, and who knows how many hidden one.

  I tried circling the stream to see what kind of creatures inhabit this place. Based on my observation, besides the giant bullfrog, there were somekind of monitor lizard, hermitcrab-like creature, and plenty of fish.

  What puzzled me is, in such rich ecosystem, i didn't find single big predator. It made me restless, thinking that something weird happening or the predators were good at hiding.

  Quickly put the thought at the back of my head, i worked a plan to kill at least the bullfrog.

  I catched plenty of bugs, killed them and coat it with my venom-slash-saliva.

  First i made a test with a pair of venom covered bugs that i hanged with my thread at tree branch near the bullfrogs. At first there were no reaction, but after i played the thread to create movement, the bullfrog started to look at my bait.

  'Gotcha' i thought when a bullfrog ate the bait and went limp at instant.

  But then i felt the same presence that watched me earlier. This time i pretended to ignore it, because even if i try to do something, i'm skeptical that i could find the source. But i heightened my alert to the max, affraid something might happen when i'm careless.

  I just continued my bullfrog 'fishing'.

  After a few minutes and a dozen of half dead bullfrogs i went down to the forest floor to pick my meal. But lady luck wasn't on my side, when i saw several large monitor lizard ate my victim.

  When i saw one of them went rigid for a while, made me remember that my poison might strong enough to paralyze them.

  Then i felt an enormous presence near me. When i tried to run a voice break the silence.

  "You are an interesting creature, i have been watching you for the past few days, you were weak, and still weak, but at some point, your power jumped higher than me, tell me, what are you exactly?"

  When i turned to see the speaker, i was shocked. There on a nearby branch was a creature that looked like me in build. The only thing that weird were, when i was made of flesh and fur, this creature were made of woods and leaves.

  Ignoring the continuous alert from Aiko, that came pretty late, which made another point clear, that this creature were so strong that made Aiko danger detector active.

  "Squeak squeak" was the only voices that came from me, then i saw the wooden mouth smirk and i felt a presence on my head.

  "We could talk here" a rough voice said in my head, while Aiko alarm still ringing, also on my head.

  "Howdy, was it you that i felt always watching me?"

  "Why don't we introduce our self first? I'm Kipsa, a forest Ent, who are you stranger?" I felt a chill running in my spine when this Kipsa asked me, looks like i have offend him somehow.

  "Sorry, i'm Regis, a spider monkey" i blurted that in my mind

  "Where do you come from? I never knew a creature like you exist?"

  "I don't know, i just woke up a few days ago, and now here i am" i'm telling the truth, well technically i didn't know where the earth or this place.

  "Hmm, you seemed to be not lying, here's a piece of advice, this part of forest is filled with harmless creature. You need to follow that stream to find a delta, there is the real game begin" the wooden me smiled eerily, with that, he or she, vanished without a trace. And Aiko alert also stopped, though the content were telling me that a creature with high concentration of mana were nearby, and i was advised to run. How the hell i supposed to do that, i was dancing at that Kipsa palm all along, nothing can be done.

  But before going to explore the stream, i decided to catch a few of monitor lizard with poisoned bullfrog as a bait.

  I gained none from them, although i expect some kind of scale or something.

  Then i swiftly using the forest canopy to continue the stream-bank exploration
