The robed person turned to face Vex "My name?"

  Excited, he tapped his fingers on the table "Are you new around here?"

  Aurelis exhaled, and responded in the same flat tone "You could say that."

  Vex nods "Not the talking type huh.."

  He lets out a light chuckle "So what exactly are you doing here?"

  Aurelis looked at Vex, his eyes grow tired "Just a town i stopped by.. I travel from town to town."

  He sighed "I'm just looking for someone."

  He scratched his hand, pointing at Vex "You're getting on my nerves with all your questions."

  Vex froze for a moment, before flailing his hands around "Hey! Its extremely hot out there.. and you're wearing robes! that's weird, and interesting! Of course I'd question you!"

  Vex tried to approve his behavior.

  He claps once "I've decided, Aurelis!"

  Aurelis lifts an eyebrow, confused "what have you decided..?"

  Vex answered with excitement "I want to be your traveling partner!"

  He got closer to Aurelis "I lived here my entire life, and I have been looking for a traveling partner for so long."

  After a moment of silence, his eyebrow twitched "Who goes to random people and offers to be their traveling partner just because they seem.."

  Aurelis tapped his finger on the table "Interesting??"

  He slammed his hand on the shelf, starting to get irritated.

  Vex strikes a proud pose, and points to the roof "Well, me! Plus you seem kinda strong, and i need someone like you"

  Aurelis sighed, irritated "fine.. fine! ill play your stupid game.. Why?"

  Vex stomped his foot on the desk, loud enough to grab some people's attention "I want to slay a dragon!"

  As those words left his mouth, the entire bar went dead silent. Even one of the barmen spilled a drink on accident.

  Aurelis' mouth twitched "A dragon."

  Vex nodded "A dragon!"

  After a moment of silence, voices began whispering, flooding the bar with sounds of judgement. Most jeering, some intrigued.

  One particular demi-tiger, who sat with his friends, got up from his chair and walked towards Vex.

  His steps were silent, and quick.

  He wore an eyepatch on one eye, and on his face a long deep cut.

  On his shirt, a blue hand drawn cracking ground stood.

  His other eye was red, sharp on Vex.

  He pointed his claw forward, touching Vex's chest "what do you know about dragons?"

  Vex looked at him, confused "I know that they are probably extinct and are extremely powerful, everybody knows that!"

  The stranger's mouth twitched in disgust "Your goal is as foolish as that face of yours." He clenched his fists.

  Vex took a step back "Geez man, you don't gotta be so mad about it.."

  The man, noticing the silence of the bar, decided to back off, tilting his head back "just don't be surprised when you're beaten to a pulp"

  He then turned around to sit back with his group. The bar slowly returned to being boisterous.

  Aurelis looked at Vex, his blue eyes reflecting deeply in the bar's light "see? No one even takes you seriously."

  Vex nudged Aurelis "oh come onnnn"

  He turned around to leave.

  Vex's eyes sparked, and he jumped in front of Aurelis, stopping him from exiting "Wait! I even have a cool power!"

  Aurelis raised an eyebrow "A cool power? You mean you are a habel wielder, huh?"

  Vex proudly nodded "I awakened when I was six!"

  He put his hands on Aurelis' shoulders "You need traveling partners to find your friend, don't you?"

  Aurelis coughs at the mention of friends. After a moment, he nodded "A friend huh? I wouldn't really consider him that. But you aren't wrong.."

  Vex proudly nodded "Ok! So anyways, I wield the ability to change the force of something if I guess the amount of habltons I exerted correctly!"

  Aurelis sighed and begun turning around, walking away "Oh so its one of those technical ones.."

  Vex once again rushed in front of Aurelis "I swear I can use it very good! Its super helpful!"

  Aurelis exhaled "Oh can you?"

  His eyebrow twitched "Prove it then."

  Vex walked two steps back, and exhaled. His hand started to glow yellow.

  Aurelis looked at Vex, observing.

  The air rustled around Vex's hand, causing Aurelis' robe to fall. Revealing the face of a really young man, matching his short height. Making him look much younger than he really is. He had snow white hair and his blue crescent moon eyes appeared much brighter.

  Vex smirked "Watch this! A light punch that will shatter a tree!"

  He flicked a finger on a tree "This should be around 20 habltons of force!"

  As Vex's finger collides with the wood, silence.

  Vex stumbled back and waved his finger, blowing on it.

  He looked back at aurelis anxious, and then shouts to himself "Oh i was off BY 0.0001 HABLTONS!"

  Aurelis stumbled back, and the only response that he could blurt "huh? seriously?"

  Vex trailed off, explaining what happened "The wind, it flowed in this direction and i calculated it in that direction"

  Vex pointed into many directions "And then when I pulled back the fist it should have changed this.."

  He continued mumbling to himself for a minute or so.

  He clapped once "Anyways! I did technically prove I wield a habel didn't I?"

  Aurelis reluctantly nodded "I guess you do have one. But it would've been better if it was a simpler one like fire or wind. Not that technical stuff."

  Vex shrugged "But they are always overpowered when done right!"

  Aurelis sighed "And.. when has that ever happened to you?"

  Vex rested his chin on his hand "Well, there was this one time I accidently hit a building.."

  Aurelis stared at vex for a moment, his eyes tired but sharp "Yea I'm not hearing about it.."

  He started walking away. after walking for a bit, he stopped for a moment, tilting his head back "if you want to tag along.."

  He sighed "I guess I do need pretty strong companions.. even when their powers are technical."

  Aurelis continued walking, without waiting for a response.

  Vex's eyes widened, his smile growing bigger.

  He quickly followed Aurelis "Alright! I wont disappoint!"

  He said with his hands stretching back. And they both walk, together.
