Inside of a small hut, a Khajiit and an Argonian were talking.
They looked frustrated.
The Khajiit came to the side of an Argonian, and then the Argonian looked at him for a moment with his green eyes and asked.
"So, what is up with that guy?"
Khajiit shook his head and answered.
"I am not sure, my friend."
"He did not leave the city..."
"He just walks around and goes to Angeline Aromatics time to time..."
Argonian thought for a while and then murmured.
"So, he may be an alchemist of some sort then..."
Khajiit nodded.
"He could be most likely. That would expin why he is loaded..."
The Argonian then nodded.
"Keep on his tail; if he leaves the city, that is when we move."
"Of course, if he has bodyguards with him when he leaves, we are not doing anything. No reason to take risks..."
"This one understands," said Khajit and left the small hut.
-
Marcus, who was in the inn, was just eating more food and drinking.
Now, he made some pns and has some trust in himself.
He believed it would be fine to get things done faster.
There is no need to keep staying in Solitude. What he needs is a pce that he can work on without being bothered much and more magical knowledge and teachers if he can find them.
With his capability as an alchemist, he already secured a job and a way to make money. So, there would be no problem living without thinking about many fears.
"I would also think that Winterhold College would not want an alchemist to stay in the college."
"I can work a deal with them; they would happily let me stay and study."
With this thought, Marcus left the inn with his bag and then went outside of the city.
As he walked, he kept on looking at the back and then came to the stables.
Compared to the game, there were more than fifty to a hundred carriages lined up, waiting for people to make a deal with them for the transporting of goods and them.
Marcus observed the carriages, and one young man came to his side; the young man was wearing a simple tunic and was just a teenager rather than a man.
"Hey mister, are you looking to go somewhere? I can help you find the carriage you are looking for."
Marcus looked at the young man and then asked.
"I need to go to Winterhold."
The young man nodded.
"Please follow me."
The Solidute Stables were pretty crowded; many carriages came and went forward.
Due to Solitude being the capital of Skyrim and headquarters of the Empire in Skyrim, the security was high.
There were more than five hundred soldiers that were stationed around it all the time, watching and making sure that nobody made any problems.
So, Marcus did not think that Khajit would try to do something, and truthfully, he was not scared of most low-level thieves as long as they were not from the Nightingales.
Five minutes ter, the young man showed four carriages.
"All these carriages directly go to Winterhold; it would take about ten days to reach there, but they stop at the small towns..."
"For one person, the cost is ten septim," the young boy added.
"The first two are fifteen septims, but they provide basic necessities and are more comfortable to ride and will have fifteen guards; others do not have guards."
"So, for safe travel, I would say it would be best to use Mister Lange Carrige or Lady Felina Transport."
Marcus thought and smiled.
"So, this is a business for some people..."
He then thought and then took five drachmas from his pouch and gave them to the young man and then said.
"You helped me a lot; take this."
The young man was happy as he got the coins.
"Thank you, mister. I am leaving now." He then left with a pretty happy smile on his face.
Marcus spoke with two carriages that provided protection and simple necessities and then finally agreed to take the carriage, Lady Felina Transport.
The number of carriages will be thirty at that time, departing from Solitude, and when they reach their destination, only five of them will remain.
The total number of people would be one hundred fifty, and the total number of guards would be twenty-five; not many bandits and organizations would attack such a crowded group.
People did not prefer to fight, but if it was their life and the survival of their family, they would help the guards, and that would make it a hundred fighters at the very least.
Taking down a hundred people is never easy, especially if they are fighting for their lives.
"With this, my total septims are eighty-one."
"Still good for some time." Marcus thought and then learned that they would be departing in five hours.
Marcus nodded and went back to the inn to buy some food for himself.
It would be good to have extra food and necessities; before leaving for the carriage, he made himself five health potions, five fortify magicka potions, and five fortify health potions, if he ever needed them.
Which cost him to make around three septims, but it was an investment and precaution.
After everything, the time has come, and in the middle of the day, he went back to the carriage and then sat down in one of the carriages that was closed and warm enough and waited for it to move.
