Sen’s adventure is about to begin—when he awakens, that is.
We now go to a planet very far away, before the pod hits it. This planet is named Makomos, a peaceful world far from any Zorros-controlled planets. Here, we meet a boy by the name of Akai.
Akai is very well known, as his abilities truly stand out from the rest. People say he might one day become one of the Galaxy Heroes. The Galaxy Heroes are individuals with powers who save planets from being destroyed or protect their own worlds. Some heroes stay on their home planets to teach others how to use their given powers, creating more heroes throughout the galaxy.
There is also the Grand Universal Guard, whose job is to keep everyone in check—even heroes. Universal Guards are everywhere, which is why they are called “universal.”
All future heroes must pass a Hero Exam. There are both physical and mental exams used to determine what kind of hero someone could become, as well as their ranking. There are many planets where beings can take the Hero Exam, but some planets are hostile toward outsiders and will make sure certain heroes do not pass.
Hero rankings range from 0 to 100. Rank 100 is the lowest, and many heroes fall into this category. On the other hand, if you are ranked 0 and rank up one more time, you become Y Rank.

Why not Z?
Because Z Rank is above A, and above S comes SS, then SSS, then Z. After that, one reaches Universal Rank, and only a few ever achieve it.
Akai stared out the window of his classroom.
“Today seems like a great day,” he said to himself.
Suddenly, a flying object caught his attention in the sky. He didn’t know it was a pod.
“What’s that bright light?!”
BOOOOOM!
It crashed onto the planet’s surface.
No one knew what it was or where it landed. Everyone only knew that something had smashed into the planet with such force that it shook the entire world.
Akai thought to himself, “It can’t be the Zorros, right? They usually announce their attacks on planets with a huge, planet-sized megaphone. So… what is it? I know!”
A planetary announcement echoed through the speakers:
“PLANET IS GOING INTO DEFENSE MODE. EVERYONE PLEASE FIND SHELTER. THIS COULD BE AN ATTACK. THIS IS AN EMERGENCY. ALL NEARBY HEROES AND OFFICERS, INVESTIGATE THE AREA.”
Meanwhile, in space above the planet…
“Ah, I see you finally made it, Sen. It won’t be long until our paths cross.
Fate is intertwined, meaning I will see you someday—but not now. It is too soon. I will wait until you recognize the power given to you by a Kyuusen, though it is only a little, like a drop of rain.
Now, Sen… what will you do when you realize your family was destroyed years ago, and now once again? Will you remember your past mothers and fathers, all the people who took care of you? Will you seek vengeance, or will it be something different—
Something much more complicated, in order to seek answers?”
