Chapter 1: A Walk in the Park

The entrance to the Sanhell Dungeon—a measly Class-C, the absolute bottom of the barrel—smelled like damp earth and weak monsters. It had ten floors, each harboring a different breed of trash-tier creatures.

For a top-class party of six like them, being here was almost an insult.

"So, are we clearing up to Floor 5 today?" Michael, one of the heavy vanguards, let out a booming laugh, rolling his shoulders. "Or do you guys want to finish the whole thing before lunch?"

Meijin, the A-Class Assassin, tossed a dagger into the air and caught it seamlessly. He smirked. "Just don't complain when I step on your head to steal your kills again, Michael."

"Does it even matter what floor?" MyThy cut in. The S-Class Mage stretched his neck, sparks of raw mana dancing across his fingertips. He didn't even try to hide his arrogance. "Let’s just get moving. I've got a new spell I’ve been dying to test out, and my hands are literally itching. Let's see if anything in here can survive a direct hit."

This tale has been unlawfully lifted from Royal Road; report any instances of this story if found elsewhere.

Mosin, the A-Class Psychic and the brains of the party, clapped his hands once to cut the banter.

"Save the energy. It’s a Class-C, but we stick to the protocol," Mosin ordered, his voice echoing with authority. "Formation. Michael, Uncle—take the vanguard. Meijin, scout the perimeter. Mythy, Sarah—stay behind the shields. I’ll take the rear and drop debuffs."

  They breached Floor 1.

It was a slaughterhouse. Goblins and Orcs were reduced to ash and severed limbs before they could even screech. Michael and Uncle crushed the frontlines. Meijin was a blur. Mythy barely broke a sweat, turning groups of Orcs into ash with casual flicks of his wrists.

It was exactly what you'd expect from a top-tier party in a low-level dungeon. Too easy.

But as they casually strolled toward the stairs to Floor 2, none of them noticed the heavy stone doors slowly shifting... locking the exit behind them.

High Lone Wolf or visualizing the S-Class party, drop a comment or hit me up in the DMs. Let’s build this dark fantasy IP together.
