  Evidence and Rescue

  I really hope this idea Maurice has will work. My adopted Dad, King Vlad and I open a portal from the classroom to the spot just outside the protection barrier of the lab. Maurice uses his ghost to go inside the lab. His human self looks at Thoran and tells him it's safe. Human Maurice and Thoran go inside the portal, which Maurice made in the lab. Once inside Maurice will merge his human and ghost self. Soon Dad and I started receiving boxes of papers and the small filling cabinets. We threw them into the portal to the classroom for Mom and Dianna. We didn't expect any more to be sent and were preparing to leave when all of a sudden 50 binders were sent to us, then 50 more and 50 more. What the world I thought to myself. Dad must have been thinking the same because he asked me what my thoughts about all of this was. I told him I had no clue but what we have must be major evidence. The next thing we knew, Thoran came out of the portal violently ill and began dry heaving. He finally was able to compose himself and asked if we had a phone on us. Dad handed him his phone. He took it and went back through the portal. We had been waiting for about an hour before Thoran came back out followed by several people.

  Thoran told us that Maurice will be joining us shortly after he wards the rooms to protect them from being destroyed by any means including several types of fires. He also tells us Maurice was casting a forgetful spell on every one in that house of horrors. He handed Dad his phone and told us that the adults need to see the videos and then decide if the children should watch it with supervision. Dad looks at Thoran and asks him if what is on his phone is what made him sick to his stomach? Thoran said yes Dad it is. I will have night terrors for the rest of my life because of this place. Dad nods in understanding and says son if what is on here pointing to his phone made you that sick, it must be worse than we all thought. We will watch it before the children.

  Maurice finally came out of the portal. He is very pale. Every ounce of color was drained from him and sweating profusely. He looked like someone who had just met Lucifer and lived to tell about it. He had mentally, physically and magically drained himself. We all escort the men and women into the portal to the classroom. Maurice is the last to return. Once he saw that the portal had vanished, he collapsed. Dianna called Louis and Ann to check on Maurice.

  One of the men spoke and said “This wonderful soul saved us”. Please don't worry ma’am, this man has just over exerted himself by using too much magic. He needs proper rest so he can recharge himself and asked if there was a clinic or hospital nearby so he can make sure that the man who saved him and the others is well rested. He then tells us he is a doctor and surgeon.

  About the time he got the words out of his mouth, Louis came in. Lou looked at the man and ran and hugged him and said he thought the stranger ran away with his girlfriend. Lou obviously knows this person. The man tells Louis that every one has a tracker implanted inside them and they need to be removed. Louis asks the man if he is able to help him with the search and removal. The man says absolutely and they gather all the people and start to head to the clinic.

  Louis turns around and asks if anyone is able to pick up Maurice and carry him or at least drag him alone with the rest of the people to the clinic. Dad and I drape Maurice's arms over our shoulders and with his feet dragging in the dirt we carry him to the clinic.
