Before I left the guild, the cute and scary receptionist had recommended to do the quest in the saint's forest where the success rate was at its highest.
Apparently a saint is basically a hero of sorts. A hero has crazy op healing, but the saint's is even more op.
The difference between the two is simple: extra healing on one kit, crazy damage against demons on the other kit. It's like a video game, but who am I to complain? I have a status window that can level me up.
So here I am, in the Heishing forest of the Gosetth kingdom, searching for slimes, while also trying my very best to not harm them.
Way too realistic, man.
And so I walked and walked and walked, unlocking a few entries in the Botanica and Bestiary tabs.
Bees, just normal every day, non-fantastical bees, which was, honestly, a breath of fresh air. Seeing a simple creature as such that doesn't evolve right away and tries to bite your head off is nice. Also, honey. Don't mind if I take one little crystal — thank you very much.
Next were some flowers like poison roses, crystal mythos (I'm selling this one!) and found out that eucalyptus are the gray trees. I've already recorded this one, but didn't knew exactly which one was it.
More boring walking, aaaand, a serpentine bestiary record.
But not from the beast itself, just its bones lying around.
Bell snake: a simple snake with the camouflage ability. It's venom is potent enough to kill even a dark spider with one single bite.
Well, that's cool.
Something capable of killing that armored nightmare… and yet here it lies, dead.
What was it even fighting to need a suicide attack?
Or better question: if it lost, what did it lose to?
Well, I don't need to worry about the answers to those. Since there's only bones it meant that the fight was lost long ago. Which further meant I didn't need to worry about whatever pack of monsters had killed it — they had probably moved on already.

Back to analyzing now.
Forest.
Simple, non-specific biome.
All kinds of trees.
Low flora density.
Also low fauna density.
But a shitton of boredom.
Boring boredom...
And boring it stayed—until I heard some wobbles in the distance.
The moment I heard the sound, I dove into the nearest bush and quietly observed them.
A strange stone tree — the only one I had seen so far — seemed to be serving as a gathering point for slimes.
Four slimes, playing a rolling game of sorts?
They rolled away from each other, then rolled back in as powerful as they could.
Each impact had sent some jelly flying around, but the regen skill undid it all, so we're good!
Some kind of ritual maybe?
The slimes were as such:
Red Slime
Age: 3 years
Level: 3
Skills: Slow Regeneration & Dissolve
Orange Slime
Age: 22 Days
Level: 1
Skills: Swift Regeneration & Dissolve
Yellow Slime
Age: 7 Years
Level: 7
Skills: Regeneration & Dissolve.
Blue slime
Age: 5
Level: 5
Skills: Nimble, Regeneration & Dissolve.
Is that what I think it is?
Correct me if I'm wrong, but I's seeing a Red Daddy Slime, with a Yellow Mommy Slime and an Orange Junior Slime.
Is that right?
Perhaps I truly am going insane because what really worried me was... The damned age gap!
Isn’t that a bit questionable?
I sincerely hope the blue slime is a Cop Slime on the job!
As soon as I found justice in the system...
CRACK!.
I accidentally moved and stepped on a twig, and just like everything in life, the cause and effect rule took control over the situation.
The slimes had attempted to run away, and now I had to catch them.
The first victim was the orange slime.
Poor guy was running in a straight line, eventually...
Bonk!
It smacked itself against a tree, getting knocked back only to resume the exact same action for another
Bonk!
It's like a video game npc that walks straight into a wall but never stops.
"Hop, you go!" I said as I shut down the light from the first slime, with a rabbit bag.
Shiiit, this smells actually bad?
Perhaps I have to remake it...
Wash it?
Buy a brand new one maybe?
