Hello, you may have noticed that there are no new chapters, and that's because I have been going through my bulk of prepared chapters over the past few months and ran out. Another bulk will be ready soon, but that's where the other news comes in!

  A year ago, I wrote what I call an experiment and a strange part of this story. Why not publish it? As you know, William found a diary on the cultural floor of the library. He read it from time to time, and it isn't a huge part of the chapters for several reasons. Initially, I wanted to use it as a tool to settle some records in the story, but after some thought, I realized that pushing it into the main storyline would be too difficult for me.

  So, here comes the kicker: it will be a full-on mini-series published under a separate fiction here on Royalroad. Diary of a Mad Scientist is the name, and it is a diary of a particular individual in the main story, following multiple events and ideas after the Dawn of 2014, and links to the Federation around the year 2070.

  It is a bit of a prequel, and since I think of it as a diary, written as such, what William will read and discover from it will affect the main story and push him to new heights or lows.

  It contains 48 chapters in total and is written to completion. New chapters will be posted daily until the end.
