As the phone disconnected, they tried to move their faces apart. A sudden pull from the connection of Cindery's bracelet and Asher's cufflinks, brought them closer. She fell due to his weight, their lips almost touched. The door bell rang.
“Hey,” Xavier said, looking around while Kendall admired the interior of the house.
“ How many properties have you got? Don’t you fall short on money?” Xavier gasped.
“ You just count. And... money's not a problem for me- I've got an empire of gold.” Asher flaunted.
“ You're a rich heir after all-,”
“All I 've was made by me from scratch. I haven’t inherited yet.”
Cindery, meanwhile, flipped the pages as if they were written by her to grasp the essence of them. She interrupted.
“Are we here on a double date? Stop blabbering!”
“Date? We can have one if you want,” Asher bantered, moving himself close to her. She rolled her eyes.
“It wasn’t that bad. Come on!” Kendall signaled.
“LGBTW(Let's Get Back To Work)!” Cindery said.
Everybody held their breath to keep from laughing as if she had commanded them to be silent or else it would be their end.
“So, I've made a plan about how to take back what we've lost due to our ignorance,” She initiated, seeking their attention...
The room filled with ambiguity as a bishop was plucked forward by a hand- smooth, but with a sharp-edged black- coloured nails, shining bright against the contrasting complexion.
“You're losing. Andras,” she gasped with her lips slightly curved upwards from aside.
“You never know when the tide turns”
“Very true” Her youthful voice ran through his mind as he played his next move.
She flipped strands of her hair back after moving her queen. “Check and mate"
“ I won. Transfer 1000 million (half of his wealth) to me.” She left with her coat hanging on her arm and her million-dollar bag in her right hand. She took out her phone and texted. “Done! Your 1000 million is already transferred.” As she walked past, she bumped into a man, making her lose her balance and fell into his arms.

“Miss, you’re fine. Aren’t you?” he asked, holding her in his arms. She stiffened herself and stepped back, bowing to show gratitude.
“You-,” the word escaped his mouth with a gentle tone. His assistant interjected, “Boss, we need to find Miss Sherlock. She was last seen here after getting off at the airport.”
“Miss Sherlock is right in front of me. Lavish bag, his eyes rolled down her body, “Gorgeous looks, grace in every move. Right? Am I?” he snapped with a gloss in his eyes.
“Not bad! Mr Alex Jove. I must say you brothers know how to get to a beautiful woman. He covets my best friend and you’re never putting me off.”
“ After all, both sisters by destiny should be in one house,”
“Where is she ? Why am I not seeing her around?”
“I'm here because she isn’t. Otherwise, would I dare to steal her thunder?”
“ Whatever” She sighed, murmuring, “ No change, even after all these years. My bad for expecting that!”
“ Who are you bad-mouthing about?” He got pissed off.
She walked towards the car; he opened the door for her. Alex eyed her assistant to roll off.
“ He sat in the driver’s seat, offering her a branded coffee" She moved it away with one of her hand, “ I won’t be taking a single thing without her, humph!”
“ You’re still the same as before; you can't live without cindery. We're going there; it might take several hours- you know my brother’s taste in properties well”
As the car raced and the sun became the moon, the warmth of the rays was chased away by the serene, biting cold. Alex adjusted her coat to cover her shoulders.
