Julia was in a ready state. She notched both of her hands in front, the left hand held the handle of the dagger from upside down. Her eyes furrowed, which was showing her seriousness. Her knees were a bit crouched, maintaining balance for her burst of speed. Julia was ready.
Vinterin: “Vinterin.”
Vinterin is the name of the person, the enemy who was about to clash with Julia in a seemingly death battle. Inside her load of predictions, countless names were stored in an imaginary storage, in which idling for when the expectations came to be true. The outcomes of those…were to give Julia the prizes she wanted– Characteristics for the weapon. The name, Vinterin, was under her prediction.

Julia had implemented all of the possible names that are meaningful, so all of her predictions would always have a higher chance of hitting the jackpot. However, there are some situations where common names would be in no use. Therefore, Julia had always been thinking of unusual names that don’t have a specific meaning. The names she thought of could have a meaning in the past, the present, or the future, that could say Julia is the person who could be implied that she’s dangerously ahead. Many countries have their own language. But when translated into her language, if it’s identical to the interpretation, it would be immediately a jackpot for her. As a result, she was granted buffs that enhanced her well-being.
Vinterin put his right hand to his waist, he looked at Julia nonchalantly. The blue aquarium with appropriate and suitable decorations was still floating continuously. Both him and her remained silent. Vinterin nodded down. The hood covered Vinterin’s profile, but his eyes were gazing at Julia with the iris extending to the cord. He let out a small breath, then…
Vinterin: “Something must’ve changed in you, isn’t it?”
Stolen from its rightful place, this narrative is not meant to be on Amazon; report any sightings.
Without any hints, Vinterin saw the unusual. That’s right, Julia was bestowed her buffs. The change in environment was what Vinterin felt.
Julia: “You could see through my ability?”
Vinterin: “No, I don’t know about your ability at all. It’s just the change in humidity and air flow that tells me something has happened.”
Julia: “So it wasn’t about your reading ability…”
Vinterin: “Yeah.”
Julia: “Then…”
Vinterin: “!?”
As she ended talking, Julia started as she threw the dagger in a straight projectile toward Vinterin’s head. The guy was casual, but he saw the danger coming. He dodged to the side.
Vinterin: “Wow, that was sudden.”
Julia: “I’ll be the first one to strike.”
Vinterin: “...”
The words were close to VInterin’s ears. Julia already teleported beside Vinterin, she immediately swung her dagger to his neck. Vinterin was trying to move away, but something had stuck his legs to the ground so that he couldn’t move.
Effect: Opponent stood still to let the user perform a fatal blow.
The effect was activated. Julia thought of this effect a long time ago. She got it from the prediction that a common name would be spoken to her by someone. This effect is ordinary because the opponent could still move with hands, so the danger doesn’t fade a bit she thought. Thus, the purpose of her move wasn’t just about killing him right away, but a combination of testing and killing with one blow.
If Vinterin cannot counter back, he’s lost. Julia’s dagger is the sharpest since she could cut through diamonds with ease.
However, that wasn’t what really happened…
Julia: “What are you going to do?”
The swing of flash aimed to decapitate the man whom Julia tried to kill in one blow. Vinterin stood still with no resistance, he nonchalantly raised his right hand, his palm and fingers were in the posture of grasping something.
…
The dagger was fast on its way, but somehow it slowly decelerated. Then, the dagger started to swing back to its owner who is Julia.
Julia: “!?”
With the same force, Julia hastened to not grasp her weapon anymore. However, the force of speed was faster than her reflex, even with buffs she was granted. A minor wound appeared on her left cheek, crimson red leaked out a little bit.
Julia: “Is this…”
Julia was shocked due to the phenomenon that she couldn’t beckon. On the other hand, the effect was gone due to its completion, Vinterin was able to move freely. Vinterin grinned, he knew what he was doing to cause that situation.
Julia: “My arm moved on its own…”
Vinterin: “Yup, and what do you think it could possibly be?”
Julia: “...”
The dagger which Julia used had been flicked. She retreated back to keep a distance between her and Vinterin. Vinterin had shown his ability, the dagger suddenly jolted back to Julia, which could only have happened due to some manipulating authorities.
Julia: “You’re having telekinesis, aren’t you?”
Vinterin: “Right, but it’s not the whole picture.”
Julia: “Tch!”
The blue dagger got itself out of ground, the fissures remained as the dagger left. It was flying back to Julia, the weapon of having loyalty attributes. The fact that the dagger was trained and used mainly by herself, coming to the fact that its soul had been synchronized with her. Blue Caesar, a myth of a god-like being, is fused inside that dagger. However, the loyalty was needed to scrutinize, since it didn’t fly back to Julia but fly toward her opponent, Vinterin.
Julia: “What does this mean?”
Witnessing that phenomenon, Julia teleported to the dagger. She couldn’t believe the betrayal of her own weapon. Suddenly, she stopped midway, she reckoned a trick of what her weapon could do to the scenario that if a wrong person holds the dagger who’s not herself.
Julia: “Get yourself in being powerless!”
While she said that, the dagger had reached Vinterin’s hand. The dagger could steal away the person who isn’t Julia's abilities and powers. Eventually, the dagger will take away the person’s soul as it counts as taking away the person’s life. The effect will be triggered as soon as it reaches somebody else's hand in possession. However,..
Vinterin: “That couldn’t be in this case. Because…”
The dagger’s main hue was blue, but when Vinterin held it, the hue turned magenta.
Vinterin: “I’m the first wielder of this weapon. An individual who manifested to the uttermost and pilgrim with it until an uncountable amount of time.”
