  A Blessing, Alex had seen it on his screen before but was unsure what it meant, hopefully it was good enough for him to risk death. As soon as he closed the message though, he was instantly attacked by a monster. He dodged thanks to his increased perception and agility but he knew one thing, this monster was stronger than him.

  Horned Rabbit Lv 7

  Alex himself was only level four, clearly underleveled for the dungeon he had bet his life on. Thanks to his intelligence he knew that the creature was definitely dumber than him, charging only in a straight line to attack, so anticipated the next attack and dodged then too. What he did not anticipate was the creature instantly reversing and attacking again, with his low agility the best he could do was block with his sword. Which shattered at once. He knew one thing, he was screwed.

  His plan now was to keep dodging until hopefully could get a cut with the broken sword. A bad option, but the only one he had. He felt the killer instinct of the rabbit and in its bloodshot eyes he knew that the little monster could see weakness. He had to think of something fast, so he thought of something he was yet to understand, mana. Even though he was a Mage, he hadn't yet cast a spell. Maybe this was the time. He focused mana, first trying to create some kind of bullet, then an explosion, all while dodging. Nothing was working, he was too rushed to make a mental image, but he didn't know that yet. He also didn't know that he was unable to before because his 'experimentation' didn't have any true intent behind it. His dodging was making him tired. Mages didn't get any bonus stamina, so he was likely not going to be able to dodge the next attack. He had to go on the offensive so he did all he could, he focused all of his mana on his now broken sword and attacked. What happened next was the a magical glow appeared around the sword and an ethereal weapon appeared around the fragmented blade, not the plain looking sword that it was before but an elaborate almost unrealistic looking sword as he slashed through the rabbit.

  Create a weapon made of Mana. The weapon gives +5 STR to the user. The weapon's power is improved by both STR and INT.

  A weapon summoning skill, not what Alex had expected his magic would have been, but something he was happy with. Especially since it just saved his life. It wasn't just limited to swords either, he tried changing the shape to a spear then an axe, it even let him use a bow and made arcane arrows. He then opened up the message that came for the skill selection. Time to see what the system gave him.
