  most cultivators start off normal and would grow more and more powerful by channeling a special energy simply by breathing in a special way. most of the time one would need medicine and tools in order help cultivate, some times one would have a special body, and some times a cultivator is unable to cultivate. but that doesn't mean one is out of luck, due to one reason or another,these unfortunates are granted a life changing boon of sorts and grow faster than their peers, and quickly reach the mountian peek only to find that they've only just barly tanken their first steps. they would go on to travel to new lands, meet new people, grow stronger, find better tools and medicine, all too find out they are once again how weak they truly are again.
