Consciousness like a slow stream returned to me

  My senses were gradually restored at first, allowing me to become vividly aware of those that were most lacking: scent and breathing.My entire being felt lethargic like it was made of lead. I could feel something moving as I struggled to stand, which was exactly when my sight was given back to me.

  At first, everything was like a haze of barely recognizable, blurry blobs that slowly focused as time passed, allowing me to fully realize what they were. There were trees and vines, along with a large moss-covered lake. It was like some sort of swamp. Then something popped into my vision which startled me.

  Then I felt my body shifting and changing like a tide. The mud around me was absorbed into my form as I grew taller and larger.

  "What the fuck?"

  At least that’s what I would have said had it not been for my distinct lack of vocal cords, so instead what came out was something more akin to the sound of a clogged toilet bubbling and liquidy.

  I raised an arm to look at myself. What greeted me was brown sludge vaguely shaped into a humanoid hand. I watched as bits and pieces slowly dripped off, splattering onto the ground before being reabsorbed into my body. Then I turned attention back to the screen.

  Not exactly what I was expecting. This is more of a general overview than the fallout stat interface. I was expecting a sad meaning-I can't power level my intelligence and start pissing out magic missles. Looking around my surroundings, I "sighed", which just basically equated to me making bubbles as I made up my mind and began trudging through the swamp.
