Homo-Green-Sapiens

It can't be easy, I knew it all along, I thought.

Even when I failed to ask my best friend out on a date during kindergarten,

or when I picked a wrong game and got beaten the hell out by a bully on the first day of school,

or when I ruined 3 SAT 2s in a row because I stupidly missed the first question of each and every one of them.

Heck, even when I puked all over my girl friend in bed from too much wine on our first and last date, I thought I knew it.

I could forget about it, pick myself right up from the dumpster and march on.

Life doesn't come so easy. If it were, it ain't worth so living. I get it.

But, what do you do when everything piles on you nonstop. When you hit the bottom so deep, so hard.

well, I returned back to my mother's home, South Korea, joined the army, and after 3 months of drills, I was in Seoul.

It wasn't long until I realized, that life wasn't hard. It was just me.

  I made my life hard.

  "Wha--!!!"

after a short whistle, sky turned black in a blink, the whole world got so quiet that I could hear my heart beat.

my legs. They were like infants trying to stand for the first time. wiggling like clown on a chopstick.

Even a giant trampoline with 6 other shenanigans would've felt more secure than this.

I felt a push, then a pull, and then a grab on my wrist.

To be honest with you, I could see people making facial movements, but I couldn't quite figure out.

  I didn't speak Korean.

Then I realized, they were not speaking Korean.

I didn't speak their tongue, but I knew what Koreans looked like.

They weren't so greenish. Nor did they have sharp teeth.
