CHAPTER 21 : THE END OF THE OBSIDIAN LEGION

Dawn was beginning to shine over the devastated forest. A thin mist hung between the trees, while the ground was still wet with blood and the remains of last night's battle.

In the midst of the silence, Eagle stood for a moment in front of Magnus' body.

The giant man's body was impaled by a large piece of wood that pierced his back. His blood was still dripping slowly onto the ground.

The morning breeze blew gently, rustling the leaves above them.

The eagle stared at him without saying anything.

  A few seconds passed.

Then he took a deep breath.

  “What a fight…”

  He bowed his head slightly.

“See you on another field, Magnus.”

Without looking back, Elang began to walk slowly away from the scene. His steps were heavy, his body covered in wounds, but his eyes were still sharp.

  The goal is clear.

  Obsidian Headquarters.

On the other side of the forest—

Alpha and Hana continued running through the bushes.

Hana was almost out of breath. Her legs felt like they were on fire, but she forced herself to keep moving.

Alpha occasionally looked back to make sure no one was chasing him.

“Just a little more,” he said.

“The beach is not far away.”

  But suddenly—

  BEEP! BEEP!

The communication watches on both of their wrists rang at the same time.

  Alpha immediately stopped.

  His face turned serious.

He pressed the small screen on the watch.

  An emergency message appears.

The sound coming from the device was faint, filled with the sound of gunfire in the background.

  Wolf.

  “…Alpha… Eagle… if you accept this…”

  The voice was intermittent.

In the background, gunfire can be heard.

  RATATATAT!

The wolf continued with heavy breath.

  “…we… lost badly…”

  Hana immediately covered her mouth.

  His eyes widened.

The Wolf's voice was heard again.

  “All troops…fall…”

Palu's voice could be heard shouting far behind.

Then the sound of a Ghost in pain.

The wolf said again in a deep voice.

“All that's left… is just the three of us…”

  The message stopped.

  The clock fell silent again.

For a few seconds nothing moved.

  Alpha stood frozen.

  His hands clenched into fists.

The veins in his neck were visibly tense.

Hana looked at him with a pale face.

  "What does it mean…?"

  Alpha didn't answer right away.

He closed the watch screen slowly.

  But his facial expression changed.

  Not calm anymore.

  Now filled with anger.

  At another place-

The eagle who also received the same message suddenly stopped.

His eyes read the short report from the Wolf.

Just a few words are enough.

  All troops were killed.

  There are three people left.

  Elang's face immediately hardened.

  Without saying anything—

  he immediately ran.

His steps were quick, almost like a shadow darting through the trees.

  The goal is only one.

  Obsidian Headquarters.

Meanwhile Alpha was still standing with Hana.

  Hana looked at him worriedly.

“Arman… we have to help them, right?”

Alpha stared at the beach in the distance.

Then he looked back at Hana.

There was conflict in his eyes.

But finally he made a decision.

  He grabbed Hana's shoulders.

  “Listen to me carefully.”

  Hana nodded nervously.

“You should go to the beach now.”

  "What?"

  "Alone."

  Hana was shocked.

  “No! I can't—”

  Alpha cut in firmly.

“The van will come to pick you up.”

“He must be on his way.”

Hana shook her head in panic.

  “What about you guys?!”

  “What about Mahendra?!”

Alpha smiled faintly, though his eyes were still full of emotion.

“We will be back as soon as possible.”

  “Trust me.”

  Hana held his arm.

  “Arman… don’t do this…”

But Alpha had slowly let go of his hand.

  "Go."

  He pointed towards the beach.

  “Keep walking straight.”

“Don't stop until you see the sea.”

  Hana stood there stunned.

Tears began to flow down her cheeks.

“You guys… have to come back…”

  Alpha nodded.

  "Yes."

  Then he turned around.

  Without waiting any longer—

He immediately ran back towards Obsidian headquarters.

His steps were fast, full of anger.

Leaves flew as he made his way through the forest.

Hana could only stand in place.

He watched Alpha's back grow further away.

His hand rose slightly as if to stop her.

  But he knew—

  nothing can stop them now.

Finally Hana started to walk backwards slowly.

His eyes were still staring at the direction his friends had gone.

Her tears fell one by one.

  “Mahendra…”

  “Arman…”

  “Van…”

  His voice was barely audible.

  “Don't die…”

  He turned towards the beach.

His steps were slow, full of fear.

  But deep in his heart—

  he could only hope.

Hopefully his friends will still be alive when all this is over.

Thirty minutes had passed since the Wolf's emergency message was sent.

The sky has really changed. The dawn was now bright, illuminating the battlefield that had turned into a sea of destruction.

  The leaves are burning.

A thin layer of smoke still rose from the ground littered with the bodies of fallen Nox Aegis soldiers.

  Among the broken trees—

  two shadows moving fast.

  Eagle and Alpha.

Both of them had been running non-stop since receiving the last message.

When they finally reached the edge of Obsidian's headquarters area, their pace slowed.

What they saw before them left both of them speechless.

The bodies of Nox Aegis troops were lying everywhere.

  Some still held weapons.

Some even looked like they were still trying to get up before finally falling.

  Alpha clenched his fists.

  "Unlucky…"

  The eagle said nothing.

His eyes swept across the terrain.

  Then-

  RATATATATAT!

A hail of bullets hit the forest area again.

  The ground exploded around them.

Alpha immediately pulled the Eagle to take cover behind a large tree.

  “Still active!”

  The eagle nodded.

“They kept pressing from the tower.”

A few meters in front of them—

Three figures were seen taking cover behind a large tree trunk that was almost destroyed.

  Wolf.

  Hammer.

  Ghost.

Alpha ran quickly closer while ducking to avoid the bullets.

  “Eagle, now!”

  They slid behind the tree.

The wolf immediately turned his head.

  His eyes widened.

  "Hawk?!"

  Alpha grinned faintly.

  “We are not dead yet.”

Palu chuckled even though his face was covered in dust and blood.

Help support creative writers by finding and reading their stories on the original site.

  “Finally you guys came.”

  But the laughter quickly disappeared.

They all saw the condition of the Ghost.

He was lying on the ground.

  Her face was pale.

Blood was still seeping from the gunshot wound in his thigh.

  The eagle knelt beside him.

  "Ghost."

The ghost opened his eyes slowly.

  He smiled weakly.

  “Look who’s here…”

  “Bird of prey.”

  Alpha checked the wound.

  “This is serious.”

The wolf said in a deep voice.

  “We can't move.”

  He pointed towards Obsidian headquarters.

  From towers and fortresses—

heavy machine guns continued to fire into the forest area.

  There is no pause.

  Even for a second.

“Once we get out of this tree…”

  Hammer continued.

  “We become mincemeat.”

Alpha stared at the field before them.

The distance to the headquarters gate is about a hundred meters.

  But without protection—

  it's like walking towards death.

  The wolf sighed.

“There are only five of us left now.”

He stared at the bodies of the Nox Aegis troops on the ground.

  "Unlucky…"

The ghost laughed softly despite the pain.

  "It seems like…"

“This is truly the end of Nox Aegis.”

Alpha immediately stared at him sharply.

  “Don't talk like that.”

  But no one answered.

A heavy silence hung between them.

Bullets were still hitting the tree they were taking cover under.

  Wood chips flew.

  Hammer held his weapon tightly.

  “If I have to die…”

“At least we drag Orion to hell.”

  The eagle raised its head.

His eyes were still fixed on Obsidian headquarters.

  "Not finished yet."

  The wolf frowned.

  "You mean?"

Elang didn't have time to answer.

  Because suddenly—

a loud rumbling sound was heard from the sky.

  WOOOOOOOOOOOSHHHHHH!

  Everyone immediately looked up.

  In the sky-

several shadows of fighter jets streaked through the morning clouds.

  Alpha widened his eyes.

  "What's that-?!"

  A fighter jet passed low.

On its wings are visible military symbols.

The wolf could hardly believe it.

  "Impossible…"

The jet made a sharp turn in the air.

The pilot's voice was heard on the open military radio.

“Aegis Falcon air unit enters combat zone.”

  “Target: Obsidian headquarters.”

  “All units stand by.”

  The eagle immediately stood up.

His sharp eyes observed the jet.

The fighter jet dropped the first missile.

  WHOOSH!

  BOOM!!!

One Obsidian defense tower exploded violently.

  Fire and debris flew.

  Another jet followed.

A Valkyrie-9 Strike Fighter dropped an aerial torpedo.

  BOOM! BOOM!

The walls of Obsidian's headquarters were destroyed.

The entire area turned into an explosive hell.

Obsidian troops poured out of the base.

Some tried to retaliate with anti-aircraft weapons.

But the fighter jets continued to circle and attack.

  Alpha chuckled.

  "Finally…"

  The wolf grinned widely.

  “The cavalry is coming.”

  Not finished yet.

  From the sky—

  several military helicopters appeared.

  Thunder Hawk Transport Helicopter.

  Their door was open.

The Nox Aegis squad slides down on a rope.

  Dozens.

  Maybe hundreds.

Additional troops began landing on the battlefield.

  Hammer whistled in amazement.

  "Unlucky…"

"It turns out we weren't abandoned."

  In the distance—

  an armored vehicle stopped.

From there came down an old man.

  His military uniform was neat.

His steps were calm but full of authority.

All troops passing by immediately saluted.

  Great General Nox Aegis.

He walked slowly towards the five of them.

When he arrived in front of them—

  he stopped.

His eyes looked at each one.

  Hawk.

  Alpha.

  Wolf.

  Hammer.

  The lying ghost.

  He sighed softly.

  “I didn't expect…”

“You guys have survived this far.”

  The wolf chuckled.

  “With respect General…”

  “We almost didn't make it.”

  The general smiled faintly.

“Nox Aegis' chosen team never disappoints.”

  He looked at the Eagle.

“You guys are much more amazing than I imagined.”

  Then his face turned serious.

  "Now."

“There is no time to rest.”

He pointed towards the still burning Obsidian headquarters.

“Catch Orion as soon as possible.”

  Alpha grinned.

  "With pleasure."

  The eagle nodded.

The wolf rolled his stiff shoulders.

  Hammer checks the bullet.

The ghost just laughed softly from the ground.

  Seeing their enthusiasm—

  The general smiled with satisfaction.

  “Medical team!”

  Several officers ran over.

  “Bring this soldier.”

  He pointed at the Ghost.

  “Treat the wound.”

The ghost raised a weak hand.

“Don't let me die before seeing Orion captured.”

  The general chuckled.

  “You're still careless, young man.”

  Then his face hardened again.

He looked at the entire Nox Aegis army on the battlefield.

  His voice echoed firmly.

  “ALL UNITS!”

  The soldiers immediately got ready.

  “STORM OBSIDIAN HEADQUARTERS!”

  “If they fight—”

  “FINISH IT!”

He raised his hand pointing at the fort.

  “If they surrender—”

  “CAPTURE AND BRING ALIVE!”

  The troops answered in unison.

  “READY GENERAL!”

  Alpha looked at Eagle.

  "It is time."

The eagle only said one sentence.

  “Let's end this.”

And the four members of the Nox Aegis team—

immediately ran towards Obsidian headquarters which was being attacked from all directions.

Ten minutes before Nox Aegis reinforcements arrived at Obsidian headquarters—

on the other side of the island, on a deserted beach.

The morning sky began to brighten. The sun's rays slowly emerged from behind the horizon, reflecting off the calm sea surface.

Small waves lapped against the sand with a gentle sound.

  There-

Hana finally came out of the forest.

Her steps were weak. Her body was covered in small wounds from the branches and bushes she had passed as she ran.

  His breath was ragged.

But when the trees opened up and he saw the vast sea before him, his feet stopped.

  Beach.

  He made it.

Hana covered her mouth with her hand.

  Tears began to flow uncontrollably.

  “I… succeeded…”

But before he could go any further—

the sound of a large engine was heard from the sea.

  WHOOOOOOMMMMM…

  Hana slowly raised her head.

  In the distance—

a giant military aircraft carrier emerged from the morning mist.

The country's flag flies on the ship's main mast.

Helicopters and fighter jets were seen standing ready on the deck.

  Hana was silent.

  His eyes widened.

He almost couldn't believe what he saw.

Then at the end of the ship's deck—

  a standing figure.

A man in a long coat blowing in the sea breeze.

  Van Arzello Anim.

  Prime Minister.

  And also-

  his lover.

  Hana's body suddenly felt weak.

He was unable to stand up anymore.

He sat on the beach sand.

  Her tears fell non-stop.

His hands raised to the sky.

  Her voice was shaking.

  "Dear Allah…"

  "Thank You…"

“You really sent it on time…”

  He lowered his head.

Her tears dripped onto the sand.

  “Thank you for protecting me…”

“Thank you for looking after my friends…”

  “Oh God… please…”

  Her voice almost broke.

  “Save them too…”

  "I ask…"

  Meanwhile-

  on board the aircraft carrier.

Van stood on the deck looking out at the beach.

When he saw a small figure sitting on the sand—

his heart immediately started beating fast.

  “Hana…”

  Without waiting any longer—

He immediately ran down the stairs of the ship that had just docked at the beach.

  The soldiers made way.

  Van barely cares about protocol.

All he saw was one person.

  He ran through the sand—

until finally arriving in front of Hana.

  “Hana!”

  Hana lifted her face.

Her tearful eyes immediately met Van's eyes.

For a few seconds they just stared at each other.

Then Van immediately hugged her tightly.

  Very tight.

As if afraid of losing again.

  “Calm down… darling…”

  “I'm here.”

  “I am here now.”

  Hana held her clothes tightly.

  Her body was shaking.

  “Van…”

  “Van…”

  Van stroked her hair gently.

  “You are safe now.”

“No one will hurt you again.”

  Hana shook her head quickly.

Her tears were flowing even harder.

  "I'm scared…"

  "Very afraid…"

  “It all happened so fast…”

Van looked at her face gently.

  "I know."

  “But it's all over now.”

  Hana gripped his hand tightly.

  "Not yet…"

  Van frowned.

  “Arman… Mahendra…”

“They are still in the forest…”

  “They are in danger…”

  Hana almost cried again.

  “They lost badly…”

  “Many have fallen…”

  “Van… please…”

  “Please save our friend…”

Van was silent for a few seconds.

  His face turned serious.

But he still held Hana's hand gently.

He smiled slightly to calm her down.

  "Listen to me."

  “I will not be silent.”

“I will make sure Arman… Mahendra… and their friends are safe.”

  He touched Hana's cheek gently.

“I also want them to be present on our wedding day.”

Hana looked at him with teary eyes.

  Van smiled confidently.

  “So calm down.”

  "Everything will be fine."

  Having said that—

  Van slowly stood up.

He turned to face the mother ship.

  On deck—

an old man in military uniform stood tall.

  Great General Nox Aegis.

Van's eyes stared at him sharply.

  No words were spoken.

  But that view is enough.

  The general understood everything.

He immediately gave a short salute.

Then turned to the rest of the troops.

His voice echoed loudly on the ship.

  “ALL UNITS ON ALERT!”

  The soldiers immediately moved.

  "FIGHTER!"

  “READY Aegis Falcon Squadron!”

The pilots immediately ran towards their fighter jets.

  “HELICO ATTACK!”

  “DEPLOY THUNDER HAWK UNIT!”

The helicopter started to start its engines.

The back and forth turned violently.

  “MEDICAL TEAM!”

  “PREPARE TO EVACUATE!”

Paramedics carry a stretcher and medical equipment to the helicopter.

The general raised his hand towards the forest in the distance.

  “Nox Aegis Troops!”

  His voice grew firmer.

  “ENTER THE FOREST!”

  “FIND THE EAGLES TEAM!”

  “AND DESTROY OBSIDIAN HEADQUARTERS!”

The entire army answered in a resounding voice.

  “READY GENERAL!”

Fighter jets begin taking off from the deck of the aircraft carrier.

Helicopters flew towards the forest one by one.

  On the beach-

  Hana stood beside Van.

The sea breeze blew through her hair.

He looked at the sky which was now filled with military aircraft.

For the first time since that night—

  there is hope.

  Hana held Van's hand slowly.

In his heart he only prayed.

  Arman… Mahendra…

  Please hang in there…

  Help has arrived.

Nox Aegis' massive attack completely changed the battlefield.

The sky was filled with the sound of roaring fighter jets.

  BOOM!

Missiles hit the Obsidian base's defense towers one after another.

Thunder Hawk helicopters dropped troops in all directions. Dozens of soldiers stormed the main gate, firing their weapons.

  "PROCEED!"

  “DESTROY THEIR DEFENSE!”

The remaining Obsidian troops were no longer able to withstand the pressure.

Some tried to retaliate from behind the destroyed walls.

Others could only run to save themselves inside the headquarters.

  Meanwhile-

amidst the smoke, explosions, and gunshots—

four figures moved quickly towards the main door of the headquarters.

  Alpha.

  Hawk.

  Wolf.

  Hammer.

They broke through Obsidian's chaotic ranks.

  BANG! BANG!

Alpha shoots two guards in the entrance hall.

The eagle kicked the iron door open.

The hammer struck a soldier with the butt of his rifle.

The wolf didn't even look back at the fallen enemy.

His eyes only saw one goal.

In his mind there was only one name.

  Valen Kryos.

  His breathing was heavy.

  His anger was boiling.

He paused for a moment in front of the headquarters' great hall.

  His hands clenched into fists.

  "Hear…"

He looked at his three friends.

  “Orion is your business.”

  Alpha raised an eyebrow.

The wolf continued in a voice full of hatred.

"Valen... let it be my business."

His eyes were red with emotion.

“He is the one who killed Melissa…”

  Her voice was shaking.

  “And his younger brother… Rapid.”

He stared into the headquarters with a murderous gaze.

  “That grudge… is mine.”

  Palu nodded slowly.

The eagle just stared at him without saying anything.

  But suddenly—

  Alpha said flatly.

  “You're late.”

  The wolf turned quickly.

  "What do you mean?"

  Alpha looked at him seriously.

  “Valen is dead.”

For a few seconds the room felt silent.

  The wolf froze.

  "What…?"

  Alpha continued.

  “He was killed by Magnus.”

  “And Orion.”

  “With their troops.”

“All that's left now is Orion.”

The wolf stared at him in disbelief.

  His eyes widened.

  "No…"

  He shook his head hard.

  “No… no way…”

  His hands were shaking.

  “He… shouldn't die like that…”

His voice was full of anger and disappointment.

“I want to kill him myself!”

He kicked a nearby metal table until it overturned.

  BRAK!

  “Damn it!”

  His breath was ragged.

  “And they killed him first?!”

  Palu patted his shoulder gently.

  "Wolf…"

But the Wolf just lowered his head.

His anger was mixed with emptiness.

  "Should…"

“He should have died by my hands…”

  Amidst the tension—

Suddenly Palu saw something at the end of the hall.

A man in a black suit ran frantically towards the large iron door.

  Palu's eyes immediately narrowed.

  "There he is!"

  He pointed hard.

  “ORION IS THERE!”

  Alpha immediately turned his head.

  Orion Karel Draven.

  The man looked panicked.

  Her face was pale.

He realized that his base's defenses had collapsed.

  It's impossible to win again.

  Without looking back—

Orion immediately opened the emergency door and ran inside.

  “He ran away!” Palu shouted.

  Alpha immediately raised his gun.

  "We'll chase!"

  The eagle nodded.

The wolf that was still overcome with emotion also raised its head.

  Even though Valen is dead—

Orion still has to pay for everything.

  “Don't let him escape!”

The four of them immediately ran after him.

The emergency exit turned out to lead to an underground passage.

A long, dark, narrow concrete corridor.

Emergency lights flickered along the walls.

Orion ran as fast as he could.

  His breath was short.

His footsteps echoed in the hallway.

  Behind him—

  four shadows chasing like hunters.

  “Stop Orion!” Alpha shouted.

  Orion didn't look back.

He just ran faster and faster.

The hammer shot towards his leg.

  BANG!

  The bullet hit the wall.

Orion turned sharply into another hallway.

  “Hurry!” said the Eagle.

They continued to chase through turn after turn.

  The passage deepened.

The air is getting more humid.

The sound of the sea water began to be heard.

Eventually the passage opened into a large underground chamber.

  There-

a secret dock is located directly below the headquarters.

Sea water enters through a large tunnel.

  And there—

  parked a black submarine.

  Orion smiled hopefully.

  “Hah… finally…”

  He ran towards the ship.

But as he almost reached the entrance—

  BANG!

A live bullet hit the side of the submarine.

  Orion was shocked.

  He turned his head.

At the end of the hall—

The eagle stood with a sniper rifle in his hand.

  His eyes were cold.

  He pulled the trigger again.

  BANG!

The second shell hit the submarine's fuel tank.

  A few seconds…

  Then-

  BOOOOOOM!!!

A huge explosion shook the entire basement.

Fire and water pressure exploded out of the submarine.

Orion was thrown hard to the floor.

Sea water began to rush in through the destroyed hole.

  The concrete ceiling cracked.

  The pillars began to collapse.

  Alpha shouted.

“This place is going to collapse!”

The hammer pulled the still-living Orion from the floor.

The wolf raised his gun at the man.

Orion's eyes were filled with fear.

  Meanwhile above them—

the entire underground space began to collapse due to the submarine explosion.

Seawater surging from the submarine's explosion began to fill the basement. Concrete pillars collapsed one by one, and metal fragments and rocks fell from the ceiling.

  “Get out!” Alpha shouted.

Eagle, Hammer, and Wolf immediately ran for their lives through the cracked passageway. Water began to flow rapidly behind them.

In the midst of the chaos—

Orion Karel Draven also fought his way out of the rubble.

He crawled over the concrete rubble, his face covered in dust and blood. His breathing was heavy.

Finally he made it out to the end of the tunnel which was starting to be lit up by light from the ruins above.

  He stood up with difficulty.

  Breathe air.

  "Hah, hah…"

For a moment he thought he had escaped.

  However-

  BUAAM!

A hard kick hit his head from the side.

Orion's body was thrown hard against the tunnel wall.

He fell rolling on the concrete floor.

  When he raised his head—

at the end of the half-dark hallway stood a person.

  Alpha.

  His eyes were cold.

  He has been waiting.

The light from the ruins behind him made his figure look like the shadow of a hunter.

Orion smiled faintly even though blood was flowing from his lips.

  “Hmm…”

  He stood up slowly.

  “So we finally meet…”

He wiped the blood from his mouth.

  “Since our first practice…”

His eyes stared at Alpha sharply.

“…today will prove who truly deserves to stand.”

  Alpha didn't answer.

  He just raised both hands.

  Ready to fight.

  Orion chuckled.

  "Good."

  So-

  he ran.

The fight started with one loud bang.

  BOOM!

Orion's fist hit the air as Alpha dodged for a split second. Alpha retaliated with a punch to Orion's ribs.

  BRAK!

But Orion did not back down.

He retaliated with a hard elbow to Alpha's face.

  TWO!

  Alpha bounced one step.

But he immediately retaliated with a roundhouse kick that hit Orion in the jaw.

  BUAAM!

Both of them attacked each other without pause.

  Blow.

  Elbow.

  Kick.

Each strike sounded like clashing steel.

Orion blocks Alpha's punch and retaliates with a headbutt.

  CRACK!

Alpha almost fell, but he immediately swept Orion's legs.

  Orion fell.

  Alpha tried to knee him.

But Orion caught Alpha's leg and threw him against the wall.

  BRAAAK!

  Dust fell from the ceiling.

  Alpha rises again.

  Their breaths were equally heavy.

  Orion laughed softly.

  "Good…"

“You're still the same as before.”

  Alpha grinned faintly.

“And you're still just as disgusting.”

  Orion attacks again.

His left fist hit Alpha's face.

  TWO!

Alpha responded with three quick punches to Orion's stomach.

  Thump! Thump! Thump!

  Orion took two steps back.

But he immediately jumped and kicked Alpha in the chest.

  BUAAM!

Alpha was thrown to the floor.

Orion tried to step on his head.

But Alpha rolled and hit Orion in the knee with a hard kick.

  CRACK!

  Orion growled in pain.

  Alpha stands up again.

The two of them looked at each other again.

Their bodies were covered in wounds.

Blood dripped onto the concrete floor.

But no one wanted to give up.

  They attacked again together.

  Their fists collided in midair.

  BOOM!

  But suddenly—

  TWO!

A hard kick hit Orion's chest from the side.

  Hawk.

  At the same time—

  BOOM!

The hammer struck Orion's side with a brutal kick.

Orion was thrown back a few steps.

  He almost fell.

  But he remained standing.

Blood was flowing from his mouth.

  His breathing was heavy.

He looked at the three of them.

  "So…"

  He smiled lopsidedly.

  “Four against one?”

  Suddenly-

  a shadow jumped from above.

  BOOM!

A hard elbow struck Orion's head from the air.

  Wolf.

  Orion fell to his knees.

But his body is incredibly strong.

  He slowly got up again.

  Blood dripped from his chin.

His eyes were still burning with hatred.

“Do you think this is enough…?”

But before he could finish speaking—

Alpha is already on the move.

  With lightning speed—

  BUAAM!

A hard kick hit Orion in the face.

  Orion staggered.

The eagle followed with a blow to the jaw.

  TWO!

The hammer hit his stomach with a brutal knee.

  BUK!

The wolf kicked him in the back.

  BRAK!

Orion didn't have time to dodge.

Their attacks came like a storm.

  Boxing.

  Kick.

  Elbow.

  Knee.

Orion's body was hit from all directions.

  He tried to fight back—

  but every move was broken.

  Finally-

he fell hard to the floor.

  His breath was ragged.

But his eyes were still open.

  Still refusing to give up.

  Alpha walked closer.

His eyes were full of anger.

  He remembered one face.

  Hannah.

Orion once tried to kill him.

  Alpha lowered his head.

He picked up a sharp piece of iron from the rubble.

  Without a doubt—

  BOOM!

He hit Orion's head with the iron shard.

  Orion screamed in pain.

But before he could get up—

  TWO!

The Eagle's kick hit his jaw.

  Orion falls back.

  Now he can barely move.

  Blood covered his face.

  His vision started to blur.

  Four shadows stood around him.

  He smiled faintly.

  Alpha stood near his head.

Slowly he took out the gun.

He aimed it right at Orion's head.

  His eyes were cold.

His voice was low but full of anger.

  "This…"

  “For Hana.”

  He pulled the trigger.

  BANG!

The first bullet pierced Orion's head.

  But Alpha didn't stop.

  "And this…"

  “For Van.”

  BANG!

The second bullet hit his skull.

  Orion is no longer moving.

But Alpha pulled the trigger once again.

  BANG!

The third bullet sealed the deal.

Orion Karel Draven's body fell silent.

  Obsidian Leader—

ultimately dying in a dark alley that collapsed by its own destruction.

  Silence enveloped the tunnel.

  Their long fight finally ended.
