A terrifying silence fell over the area. The Spider Woman said nothing, merely scanning their surroundings with her red eyes—both enchanting and terrifying at the same time—before fixing her gaze on him.
'This is the end for me.'
Arthur swallowed hard, lowering his head as he mentally prepared for what was coming next.
The Spider Woman was extreme in her actions, and it was clear she would punish him in a very painful way—if she didn’t kill him outright.
His thoughts raced, searching through every possibility, hoping to find a way to escape her, or at least to calm her anger and lessen her punishment.
During those few moments of frozen stillness, the humans arrived. There were six of them in total, accompanied by two dogs, led by a knight in his thirties named Ethan.
He had strikingly masculine features and wore refined clothing and polished armor, clearly of higher status than the others.
Everyone dismounted, and the E-rank human who had previously fled from Arthur pointed toward him in fear.
"This is him, sir… this is the wolf that killed Beaumont and th—"
But when he saw the Spider Woman, the words froze in his throat. He slowly lowered his hand, his mouth opening in awe at her stunning beauty.
He wasn’t alone—every human there wore the same stunned expression, and involuntarily stepped forward, drawn closer.
In truth, they all noticed the strange details in her features: the red markings, the small horns, and the fact that her very presence in this place was illogical.
However, none of them could look away. Desire had taken control, leaving their minds blank, like moths drawn to a burning flame.
Ethan regained a bit of composure, gave a strange, unsettling smile, and said with a worried tone while drawing his sword, "My lady, please come to my side and stay away from this dangerous beast."
Another man snapped out of his stupor and said with wild eagerness,
"Yes, yes, this is a vicious monster that killed our comrades. We must deal with it before it harms more innocent people like you."

"Don’t worry, my lady. We’re kind people, and we’ll make sure you’re safe with us," another added.
" Very safe," the others laughed foolishly.
Although Arthur wasn’t in a position to focus on the humans, their strange behavior drew his attention.
Thanks to his Enhanced Senses, he could smell the intense lustful intent radiating from them and hear the frantic beating of their hearts. He suspected they might pounce on her at any moment, like hungry beasts.
'What bad luck for them… they’ve fallen into her trap and completely lost their senses,' he thought with a twinge of dread, feeling a shiver down his spine.
Hesitantly, he slowly lifted his head, intending to steal a quick glance at her. But the moment he looked, she was still staring directly at him, and their eyes met.
Time froze, and he felt his heart pound violently. His desire surged as well.
He was no longer afraid of her; all he could think about was her, all he could see was her beauty, and all he wanted and longed for was to hear her voice and touch her.
He felt like a lovesick fool.
Crack!
Suddenly, a sharp pain shot through his head, and his nose began bleeding. Using "Unbreakable Will," he freed himself from the strange mental force that had invaded his mind, and his consciousness returned.
'Damn, what just happened?' he thought, gasping like a drowning man emerging from the water, a stunned expression on his face.
In truth, he knew she possessed the "Seduction" skill, but this was the first time she had used it on him directly.
This made him realize a terrifying truth: she could have turned him into a puppet all this time, yet for some reason, she hadn’t.
'Was she so badly injured before that she couldn't do it? Or did she simply want to keep me fully conscious to see my real reactions?
Wait… why the hell is she even here? It doesn’t make sense that she tracked me down like this… or maybe she was hiding, watching me all along?'
Each possibility was more terrifying than the last, and it led him to a shocking conclusion: the Spider Woman was extremely interested in him—or perhaps even attached in some way. And his deduction wasn’t baseless.
As he reviewed his memories with her, he realized that in the final days before his escape, she had begun treating him with more kindness, speaking to him in a strange and more spontaneous way than usual.
Of course, this had been part of his previous plan—aiming to guide her feelings and capture her attention so she wouldn't kill him. Apparently, he had succeeded.
(Reminder: This happened in Chapter 40)
Even though he was certain she couldn't sense his intentions, he quickly cleared these thoughts from his head and focused on her again.
He found that her expression had darkened further; she was clearly irritated and stunned that he had broken free from her Seduction so easily.
At the same time, the humans had grown bolder and more crazed, approaching her while panting loudly.
Ethan, in particular, had already reached her side. With an ecstatic expression and a red, sweaty face, he said:
"You're safe now. I'll make sure to protect you with my life from this monster." He slowly reached out his hand, wanting to touch her, while his "little friend" jumped for joy inside his pants.
At that moment, an overwhelming aura erupted from the spider woman. With unbelievable strength, she swung her delicate hand and slapped him across the face.
His head exploded into fragments of flesh, blood, and brain matter, splattering everywhere and covering most of the remaining humans.
"Ah!"
Despite the horrific scene, most of the humans continued staring at her with that entranced look—except for one, who opened his mouth in terror and screamed, trying to run, but couldn’t move, as an invisible force held him in place.
Without a second thought, the Spider Woman raised her hand and pointed at them.
Several white spears formed around her, shooting toward them like bullets, turning their bodies, along with their horses and dogs, into minced flesh. Every tree around them was destroyed as well.
Then she gestured at Arthur, and another wave of spears appeared, hovering in place. Finally, she spoke in an extremely cold tone:
"So, you filthy pup… why did you escape? Have you grown bold and arrogant enough to challenge me?”
