  Phase 0: The Nebula.

  This is the starting point for all humanity. It represents "Latent Consciousness." At this stage, you are just a cloud of raw potential.

  Complete Nebula: Every human has the potential to harbor an Idea and a Vessel. You are currently a functional blank slate.

  Collapsed Nebula : This is the fate of those who stumble. It includes those who couldn't find an Idea, those whose Vessel was too fragile to hold it, or—most tragically—those who reached for the stars and fell during the Realization Phase.

  Phase 1: The Proto Star.

  The moment of "Ignition." The Idea sparks within the Vessel. Power manifests for the first time, but it is chaotic, unrefined, and often more dangerous to the user than the enemy.

  It is divided into three critical sub-phases:

  Formation Phase : A Complete Nebula successfully retains an Idea within their Vessel. The fusion begins.

  Realization Phase : The "Vessel" begins to truly "perceive" the "Idea." You start to understand what your power is, its conceptual depth, and what you must become to wield it.

  Note on Failure: This is where most students fall. It isn't just about talent; it is about the Self. Many hesitate or fail here due to morals, principles, conflicting desires, or psychological and physical instability. If you cannot accept the reality of what your Idea demands of you, you collapse.

  Stabilization Phase : The Esper reaches a primitive balance. You can use your ability reliably. You have stabilized the fusion and are ready to ascend.

  Observation: The transition between Realization and Stabilization is a window of seconds or minutes. Failure here results in an immediate drop to a Collapsed Nebula.

  Phase 2: The Stable Star

  The peak of "Humanity." The Vessel and the Idea have reached a state of perfect, harmonious equilibrium. You are efficient. You are consistent. You are—for all intents and purposes—ideal. But "Ideal" is just another word for "Static."

  The Special Classification: The Nova Event.

  The true beginning of the Stellar Ascension is, paradoxically, a collapse. This is the moment when a person refuses to let go of their Idea, forcing it to merge with their most selfish, primal desires. These are the Ranked. They are no longer just using a power; they are becoming it.
