Chapter 80: Movie Debut (Seeking Recommendations!)

(PS: Thanks for keer870825's reward, thanks for the support~ also hope everyone can use recommendation tickets to support Lao Fo, no recommendation is a bad day!!!!)

Actually, Wu Jing overestimated He Mu a bit. Both of them practiced Bajiquan since they were young, but He Mu was far inferior to He Zhuo. Bajiquan emphasizes powerful and swift movements with great killing power. After He Lao modified it for military combat, his Bajiquan became even more ruthless. Only a battle-hardened killer like He Zhuo could grasp its essence. With just one hand, he could handle He Xiao'er easily.

Wu Jing learned martial arts at a sports school from a young age, focusing on forms and aesthetics. Although he strengthened his physical training and combat skills after entering the film industry, there is still a gap between him and true masters. When Fang Zuming proposed the idea, Wu Jing's first reaction was to refuse, because He Miao said that his Bajiquan was learned from his grandfather in rural areas since childhood, and usually, young people with such skills are not easy to deal with.

Wu Jing felt that losing was not shameful, but a master's move was hard to grasp the scale. If he accidentally got hurt, it wouldn't be good. In this movie, the most difficult and numerous fight scenes were his. He not only had to fight with Tse Miu Fung, but also with Yu Wen Le and Fang Zuming, and other police officers. If he didn't get a labor model award after the movie was released, he would feel wronged. In order not to affect filming, Wu Jing really couldn't afford to get hurt. He had to be in his best state to face filming.

He Mu didn't want to compare, he wasn't a martial arts fanatic, seeing a master would make him want to challenge, if he lost he would definitely feel ashamed. He Mu grew up watching Wu Jing's TV dramas and movies, in the works Wu Jing was usually a kung fu master, although most of it was the director and martial arts instructor's artistic expression, as a half insider He Mu could also see that Wu Jing's current state was much stronger than when he first started out, his actual combat ability was not something that Xie Tingfeng who had practiced Wing Chun and Sanda for a few days could compare to.

Due to the non-cooperation of Wu Jing and Donnie Yen, the three people who wanted to see the excitement, Xie Tingfeng, were unable to get what they wanted. This fight ultimately did not happen, and in the movie "Raging Fire", they also did not have a showdown. It wasn't until many years later that the two finally clashed on the big screen for the first time, creating a super good show.

After meeting with several co-stars, Xie Tongfeng sent He Mu back. Datang and the investors had already signed a contract, and He Mu returned just in time to sign it and received the script for "Male Essence".

  ——————

Datang had originally wanted to see a few old friends in Hong Kong, but after He Muo, the next month's time would be very tight, so after things were settled, he didn't stay and directly took He Muo back to Shanghai, getting off the plane was already the second day.

"Tang Ge, it seems like there are reporters following us?" He Muyin felt a sense of being photographed.

Da Tang Xiao Xiao: "We were photographed by paparazzi when we went there, didn't you see?"

Two people bought several entertainment newspapers outside the airport. He Miao saw a photo of him and Da Tang entering the boarding gate in one of them, which was quite eye-catching.

"I knew it, I was caught on camera. Next time I'll definitely be more careful."

Da Tang shook his head and gave He Mu a lesson: "Why do you have to hide from the entertainment reporters? They took your photo, added a topic to their newspaper, and spread your name, increasing your popularity. Maybe someone will get to know you through this small report and like you because of it. This isn't a loss for you. So there's no need to treat entertainment reporters as if they're beasts. What they want is sales, what stars want is exposure rate, it's just mutual benefit. Now that you have some fame, you should learn to use the entertainment reporters well, don't look at them as too scary, and don't push them to be your opposition from the start."

"But why do I feel like celebrities are all hiding from entertainment reporters?"

"That means you have something to hide, don't want it to be made public. The more you evade him, the tighter he'll follow you. If you let him take pictures openly and generously, once he's taken enough, he might even leave on his own accord." Da Tang added.

Datang said a lot and finally added, "If you are too close to a certain girl, it's better to avoid some entertainment news unless there is a need for rumors."

Back in Magic City, Zilin has returned to the capital; back in the small apartment, Shishi has gone to Canada, and He Mu suddenly feels very lonely.

To coordinate with He Mu's schedule, the crew began to speed up, with director Jiang Jiajun leading part of the crew to Canada for location shooting, while the deputy director led another group to shoot some scenes with He Mu and others.

After Shi Shi left, the women who mainly surrounded He Mu were Tang Yi and Yang Wei, and Lin Yuan occasionally came to say hello.

Yang Mi plays Wang Qian, who takes advantage of the void and attempts to capture this lovely man when Lu Fei's patience with Ruan Jing is worn out. Originally a proud and arrogant rich young lady, she is willing to be the third party for love.

While Tang Yan's Lele is defending her best friend's love, after successfully driving away Wang Qian, the admirer, she temporarily moves into Lu Fei's happy little nest to heal from a recent heartbreak and develops a different kind of dependence on this not-so-handsome but lovely and reliable man.

In the frequent contact with He Le, Lu Fei also thought that the person living with him was still Ran Jing, the same flight attendant uniform, the same beautiful face, and the same cleverness made him confused, as if some inappropriate emotions were growing, the only thing that could resist this emotion was his promise to Ran Jing, he would wait for her return.

Although Xiao Fang had a prior agreement with Li Qiang not to make the plot too entangled, it should be light-hearted and joyful. However, Li Qiang still couldn't control his own "literary disease" and in the second half of the story he wrote himself, he explored the profound question of whether time and distance can defeat love, which weakened the lighthearted and happy atmosphere of the later period. Nevertheless, Li Qiang's strength is evident there, although it lost some joy, but the characters and plot are all top-notch, the characters are more rich and full-bodied, with flesh and blood, the plot twists and turns, making people unable to look away, his continuation is absolutely not inferior to the original work. He Mu can responsibly say that this is a good script.

The original author, who was thirty at the time, stayed up all night to read through the entire script and felt that this was the sequel story he wanted. He then discussed with Li Qiang about adapting the second half of Li's script into a second installment of "Air Stewardess", but it is unclear how they would split the profits. However, he knew that the book would still be published by Tian Di Xuan Huang and predicted that the company would become even more successful next year after gaining fame.

Xiao Fang's idea was to wait until the 30th to finish writing and release it on the same day as the premiere of "Air Stewardess", so that sales and TV drama ratings can promote each other, ultimately achieving a win-win situation. Thirty agreed, saying this is good for both parties.

Shooting abroad is very expensive, although Xiao Fang said that he wants to raise the level of this play and make it more internationalized, but due to limited funds, the crew only stayed in Vancouver for five days and finished filming all the content of Shi Shi and Feng Shaofeng in Canada before rushing back home.

After Shi Shi returned, Meng Meng was about to leave soon, and her part in the play was about to end. During this period of filming, Shi Shi, Meng Meng, Tang Tang, and Lin Yuan all got along well, and the girls established a deep friendship.

To see Yang Wei off, He Mu treated the girls to dinner and KTV, suffering another huge loss, but considering the 80,000 yuan he earned from "The True Colors of Men", this was nothing, and He Mu was still very generous after solving his financial crisis.

Half a month after returning from Hong Kong, "Stewardess" only had the last four or five episodes left to film. At this time, "Men" was about to start filming. He Mu didn't need to attend the press conference for the opening of filming, as he was just a supporting actor and an unknown one at that. The Hong Kong media wouldn't pay attention to him, and even if he went, it would only be as background. However, he couldn't miss the first scene of filming, because that scene included his first appearance, which was also his film debut.

When He Mu arrived in Hong Kong after taking a day off, the crew of "Men's Color" had already sealed off the streets to film a scene where a group of mercenaries would rob an armored car. The characters involved were led by Tiān Yǎngshēng (played by Ng Man Tat), a group of seven mercenaries who grew up in an orphanage and had no blood relation but were closer than brothers, under the leadership of Tiān Yǎngshēng they formed a mercenary organization. He Mu played the role of Lao Liu, also known as Tiān Yǎngyì.

In this plot, the explosion caused by the mercenaries killed Chen Jin's (portrayed by Tse Ting-fung) fiancée. The seven-man mercenary group was betrayed and surrounded by special police, leading to a fierce gun battle that left three dead. This led to their return to Hong Kong years later for revenge, setting up the main storyline of Chen Jin seeking vengeance for his girlfriend's death and his unrelenting feud with Tin-yuen and his gang.

To pursue authenticity, the production team and the Hong Kong government negotiated for a long time and finally obtained permission to film large-scale explosion scenes in Central, the commercial heart of Hong Kong. Under broad daylight, the police assisted the crew in sealing off three main roads in Central, just for the filming of one movie, which was an unprecedented grand move in Hong Kong.

Director Chen Mu-sheng had to ensure that the filming of this scene was completed within a short period of time. The difficulty for the actors was not great, as long as the few mercenary brothers remained calm and expressionless, raised their hands to shoot, the difficult part was the opening explosion and gun battle.

While the director was busy directing the special effects personnel and prop team, He Mu and Wu Jing Ge were leisurely drinking authentic milk tea, each wearing a cool outfit with sunglasses and windbreaker as standard equipment. After makeup, He Mu couldn't find any shadow of Lu Fei from "Flight Attendant" in the mirror, this is what it feels like to be a cold-blooded killer.

Da Tang once said that He Mu is not the kind of person who is handsome to the extreme, and it's precisely because of this that his plasticity is stronger. He can play a handsome guy, but also an ordinary person, he can act out the majesty of a king, but also the helplessness of a small character. Compared to him, Wu Jing has a harder time shaping his roles, because his baby face makes it too easy for people to lose their immersion. This year, already over 30 years old, he looks more like a kind and enthusiastic young man, so in order to better interpret the character Tian Yangsheng, he must be darker, more ruthless and more venomous.

Two hours later, several scrapped cars appeared on the street, some of which were still emitting sparks. The citizens on the street saw a line of seven people passing through the abandoned car, holding guns and rushing towards the armored vehicle...
