Chapter 4

Delih, breathless and trembling, clung to Lyra’s body, her eyes gzed with lust and need. Her lips parted, a soft whimper escaping as she pleaded, “Please... more… don’t stop.”

Lyra’s eyes glinted with dark amusement, her gaze fixed on her as she leaned back slightly, their bodies still intimately connected. “You want more?” she growled, her voice deep and feral, sending a shiver down Delih’s spine. “You can barely take what I’ve given you.”

“I can... I can take it,” she gasped, her hips lifting to press harder against Lyra’s core, the heat between them fring once more. “Please… I need it.”

Lyra smirked, her hand trailing down Delih’s thigh before gripping her waist with a possessive force. Without hesitation, she began to grind their hips together again, the friction of their slick bodies igniting the fire between them once more. Delih’s head fell back, her body responding instantly to the overwhelming sensation as their cores connected.

Lyra’s movements became deliberate, calcuted, pushing Delih closer to the edge with every powerful thrust. The connection between them deepened, their bodies moving in perfect harmony, and the pleasure building was relentless. Delih moaned, her voice breaking into soft cries as Lyra took control once more, her rhythm unyielding.

The heat between them was unbearable, their slick cores sliding against each other, each grind pushing Delih further into a haze of bliss. Lyra’s eyes never left her, watching as Delih’s body writhed beneath her, begging for more with every breathless sound she made.

As their pleasure intensified, something primal awakened in Lyra. Her canines began to break through her gums, her sharp teeth gleaming in the dim light as she leaned closer to Delih. She felt it, the animalistic hunger, the need to cim what was hers.

Delih, lost in the waves of pleasure, barely noticed Lyra’s change. Her nails raked down Lyra’s back, and her body arched into Lyra’s relentless thrusts. “Yes… more…” she gasped, her voice barely a whisper, her body shaking with need. “Please… I’m yours.”

Lyra growled low, her hips grinding harder as the connection between them deepened, their cores sliding together with intoxicating heat. The friction was maddening, every movement bringing them both closer to the edge. Delih’s cries echoed in the room as she felt herself building toward another release, her body completely at Lyra’s mercy.

Just as they were about to reach the peak of their pleasure, Lyra’s primal instincts took over. She leaned down, her lips brushing against Delih’s neck, and with a deep, possessive growl, her canines sank into the soft skin. The sharp pain was immediately followed by an overwhelming rush of pleasure, and Delih’s body convulsed as the bite marked her, ciming her in every way.

Delih screamed, her body shuddering violently as the pain and pleasure merged into one overwhelming sensation. Her climax hit her hard, her body trembling uncontrolbly as her release surged through her. Lyra didn’t stop, her hips continuing to grind against her, their cores still connected, pushing them both through the wave of ecstasy.

Lyra’s teeth stayed in Delih’s neck, her body tensing as her own release hit. A deep growl rumbled from her chest as she cimed Delih fully, their bodies locked together in the heat of their climax. The connection between them was undeniable, their bodies moving in perfect synchronisation as they rode out the intense pleasure together.

When the waves of their release finally subsided, Lyra pulled her teeth from Delih’s neck, licking the wound as she whispered, “You’re mine now… forever.”

As Delih y fast asleep on the bed, her breathing steady, Lyra quietly pulled on her clothes, her eyes lingering on the mark she had left on Delih’s neck. A sense of pride filled her, knowing that Delih was now cimed, bonded to her in a way that couldn’t be undone. Yet, as much as she wanted to stay, to curl up beside her, she knew she couldn’t.

A pack of wolves was after her, and staying would put Delih in danger.

Lyra leaned down, brushing a soft kiss against Delih’s lips, savouring the moment. Her voice was a low murmur as she whispered, “I’ll be back for you… if I survive.”

With one st gnce at Delih’s peaceful face, Lyra gently covered her with the sheets, ensuring she would stay warm. Then, without a second thought, she turned toward the window, leaping through it effortlessly.

The cool night air embraced her as she nded on the ground, and without hesitation, she made her way to the edge of the woods. Her body shifted, bones cracking and reshaping as her human form transformed into that of a stunning white wolf. Her golden eyes gleamed under the moonlight as she ran toward the mountains, her sleek form disappearing into the forest, heading towards the danger that awaited her.

But no matter what y ahead, she promised herself—she would come back for Delih.

Delih jolted awake, a sharp pain pulsing at her neck. Groaning, she rubbed the tender spot, her fingers grazing the mark Lyra had left. For a moment, the events of st night were a blur, but as she looked around, she realised something was missing… Lyra.

Panic bubbled up inside her as she quickly scanned the room, her heart racing. Lyra wasn’t there. Throwing on a robe, she bolted from the bedroom, rushing through the cabin, calling out, “Lyra? Lyra!” Her voice cracked with urgency, but the only response she got was the groggy compints of her friends.

Evie sat up from the couch, half-awake, and ughed. “Delih, did you take too much st night? Who the hell is Lyra? There’s no one here with that name.”

Ignoring Evie’s teasing, Delih’s anxiety only grew. She had seen Lyra, touched her, kissed her. She wasn’t hallucinating. She tore through the cabin, checking the basement where Lyra had been tied before, but it was empty. Not a single sign that she had ever been there.

Without thinking, she ran outside, her bare feet sinking into the forest floor as she rushed into the woods. “Lyra!” she screamed, her voice hoarse, echoing through the trees. “Lyra, where are you?”

But there was no answer. Only the rustling of the leaves and the distant chirping of birds filled the air. Delih’s heart pounded as she ran further, calling Lyra’s name into the emptiness, but the more she shouted, the more the truth gnawed at her—Lyra was gone.

Her chest heaved, and tears stung her eyes. She slowed to a stop, breathless, looking around the dense woods, feeling more alone than ever. “Lyra… please…” she whispered, but all that was around her was the stillness of the forest.

Delih’s legs gave out beneath her, and she colpsed onto the forest floor, tears streaming down her face as she clutched her aching chest. It all felt like a cruel trick of the mind… Lyra had been in her arms, her touch, her scent, her body still fresh in her memory. She could still feel the burning ache from their lovemaking, proof that it hadn’t been some drug-induced hallucination. But now, the forest was silent, empty, as though Lyra had never been there at all.

Her fingers dug into the dirt, her body trembling as she whispered, “Why does it feel like a dream? Why aren’t you here?”

Moments ter, she heard footsteps crunching on the leaves behind her. Evie and the other women emerged from the cabin, their faces a mix of confusion and concern.

“Delih?” Evie’s voice was cautious as she approached, seeing her friend crumpled on the ground. “What’s going on? What are you doing out here?”

She didn’t answer right away; her tears falling faster. She wanted to expin, wanted to tell them everything, but the words caught in her throat.

“Hey, are you okay?” Vanya asked, kneeling beside her and pcing a hand on her shoulder.

“No,” Delih croaked, her voice barely a whisper. “She was here… I swear she was here.”

Evie exchanged a gnce with the others, her brow furrowing. “Delih, who was here? There’s no one—”

“Lyra!” Delih shouted, cutting her off, her voice hoarse. “She was real. She wasn’t some figment of my imagination! I-I can still feel her…” She pressed a hand to her burning core, desperate to convince herself. “She was in my arms. I wasn’t hallucinating. It wasn’t just a dream.”

Evie crouched in front of her, her expression softening. “Delih… I don’t know what you’re talking about. You were out of it st night, maybe it was—”

“No!” She snapped, shaking her head violently. “It wasn’t the drugs. She was here. I felt her. I—” She choked on her words, feeling the weight of disbelief press down on her. “Why… why isn’t she here?”

The group fell silent, unsure of what to say. Her sobs filled the air, and though they didn’t know what to make of her words, they didn’t leave her side. The burning ache inside her body, the mark on her neck… it all had to mean something. Lyra had been real. She had to have been real.
