  “You want a hero’s tale?

  Fine. I’ll tell you one.”

Darcelle suddenly jumped in her bed and woke up. She had a nightmare again about her and Ciro talking.

Darcelle whispered, while she was crying and they both felt these were the last memonts, “We aren’t going to make out alive from this.” Ciro looked at her with empty eyes, “Don’t be afraid, Darcelle.” He put his hands on Darcelle’s face, looked at her for the last time, and gave her a kiss on forehead. Then slowly stood up where they were hiding behind a car.

Core slowly spoke, and when he did, Darcelle felt like the whole universe fell on her. “Save them.” After this, he gave a military salute and said, “You were worth everything, Darcelle.” And before Darcelle could stop him, he ran away and sacrified himself for a reason and to people who Darcelle didn’t know.

She was left breathless in real life. She sat on the bed, looked up to the sky and realized, “Ciro!” She quickly ran to his room, and thanks to God, he was there, sleeping in peace.

Was he, or was that what Darcelle thought?
