A few days ter, Lorian and Beatrice arrived in Borton. All the administrative and recruitment processes were handled by Cassandra and several office staff. They had been bought from Boston for a cheap price of only €3,000. Cassandra then officially registered Lorian as a professional pyer with the FA.
After that, Lorian began training with the first team, and Beatrice started her process of analyzing the League Two teams.
Miraculously, in just a few days, a 100-page analysis report arrived at Reinhart's office, covering all 23 clubs in League Two, from their key pyers and frequently used tactics to the team's condition and formations. The report was incredibly comprehensive, but because of this, Beatrice requested leave due to exhaustion.
Thanks to Beatrice's extraordinary analysis, the next match against Accrington Stanley went quite well. By matching Beatrice's analysis with the conditions on the field, Reinhart finally realized Beatrice's genius. For 45 minutes of the match, Reinhart implemented the tactics Beatrice suggested in her report.
He also immediately pyed Lorian to rest Lucas. In the first half, with a strange tactic where Bradford applied a 4-1-4-1 strategy against a 5-4-1 formation. However, what was odd about Bradford's strategy was the extreme positional changes.
From 4-1-4-1, they shifted to 2-3-5. A very chaotic formation where the LB and WB moved into the center to help penetrate, then Mathias dropped back to py as a false nine. Eden and Harry Shalked, pying as CMF, moved wide to the right and left, and up front were Duvant and Lucien.
Due to these extreme positional changes, the Accrington Stanley pyers had difficulty and confusion in marking anyone.
When Mathias dropped deep, the center-backs chased him, and suddenly an open space appeared in the middle. At that moment, Mathias released a pass that Duvant received well. With just a few touches, Duvant was in a one-on-one situation before finally firing a shot into the right side of the goal.
When the first goal was scored, Reinhart was pleased with the €3,000 investment he had made in the two siblings. Lorian also performed quite well and quickly understood his job description. He occasionally released accurate and quite threatening long passes.
He was also able to make good presses and tackles to thwart the opponent's attacking efforts. According to Reinhart, this pyer was suitable to py when Bradford wanted to implement a defense-focused game strategy.
A few minutes ter, Lorian surprisingly scored a goal. It started from a foul on the right side of Accrington's defense where Eden was brought down.
The distance from the foul to the goal was quite far. So if it was a free kick, the pyer would definitely choose to pass the ball. They were choosing a kicker who had good passing accuracy and a good right foot.
Duvant suggested, "How about letting Lorian take it? He performed well in free kick practice yesterday."
At that moment, Reinhart finally tried Duvant's suggestion; he let Lorian take the kick.
Then, with a powerful right-footed shot, the ball curved beautifully into Accrington's defense area. Several pyers jumped to contest the ball. However, strangely, the ball's direction changed slightly, and unexpectedly, it went into the goal because the goalkeeper couldn't read the ball's trajectory due to the number of pyers jumping.
At that moment, the entire University of Bradford Stadium roared with joy. Lorian's first goal was beautiful; even Beatrice, who was still on leave, jumped up and hugged Cassandra in excitement.
Perhaps because of their simir ages, Cassandra, Reina, and Beatrice quickly became close. Cassandra and Reina even considered Beatrice their younger sister, especially after hearing what Beatrice had experienced at her previous team.
After the second goal, the opponent's team spirit colpsed. Next, it was Mathias's turn to score, utilizing his long-range shot, followed by Lucien, who capitalized on a through ball from Mathias. At the end of the first half, Eden Mirza scored a beautiful goal with his knuckle shot.
The second half was even more disastrous, and finally, the whistle blew, signaling the end of the match.
Bradford City 7 : 0 Accrington Stanley
Scoring many goals against a defensively pying team was quite surprising; this was also thanks to Beatrice's analysis and crazy tactics that didn't fit the logic of common tactics.
With that, the seventh-round match against Morecambe also went smoothly; they returned with a victory. They won the match with a score of 0 : 4, where Mathias scored a hat-trick, and an additional goal was scored by Lucien, which now put Bradford firmly in first pce. Then, the eighth match was also won against Grimsby Town.
Where Port Vale followed in second pce with 7 wins and 1 draw, and Fleetwood Town in third pce with 7 wins and 1 draw, only losing on goal difference. In fourth pce, AFC Wimbledon was chasing with 7 wins and 1 loss. The bottom three positions were still held by Chesterfield, Crewe Alexandra, and Barrow AFC.
The ninth-round match was also quite easy, where they defeated Doncaster Rovers with a narrow score of 2:1 using a rotated team.
The day after training, Reinhart sat in the meeting room. Today was the divisional meeting schedule, where each head of department would present their reports. He sat calmly in his chair, his face as ft as usual, but his eyes sharply followed every detail.
McNeil started first.
"First team training is going smoothly," he reported. "The pyers continue to train hard. Even those who have performed exceptionally don't feel special. They hold firmly to your orders, to never be compcent."
Reinhart nodded slowly, satisfied with the news.
Malcolm then stood up, discussing physical and technical training.
"Running drills, free kicks, corner kicks, penalties... everything is on schedule. For free kicks, there are several outstanding names."
He turned on the screen, showing a list of pyers.
"Mathias, suitable for free kicks near the penalty box, his shot is very powerful. Then Lucien and Duvan, their long-range accuracy is excellent. Eden has the Knuckle Shot technique, Lucas has extraordinary passing accuracy, and Lorian has also shown significant development."
"And for speed?" Reinhart asked.
"Harry Shalked still holds that. With or without the ball, he's the fastest in the Club."
Reinhart's eyebrows rose slightly. "That kid is that fast, huh..."
The report continued with Reina from the marketing division.
"Merchandise sales have increased drastically, Rein. Thanks to promotions involving young pyers like Lucien, Duvan, Eden, Mike, Harry, and Park."
"Now Park's jersey is breaking sales records. It even surpassed your previous merchandise record. And Bradford's social media account followers have increased sharply because of him. Many are asking if Park is the club's official brand ambassador?"
Hearing this, Reinhart smiled thinly, both proud and annoyed. In his mind, he thought, "So that kid hasn't even pyed yet, but he's already more famous than me, huh..."
Then Reina asked, "Rein, actually... where did we get Park from?"
The question made the atmosphere in the meeting room slightly tense. Reinhart paused for a moment.
Cassandra immediately whispered, "Information about the scout and Park hasn't been announced yet, Sir."
Reinhart nodded slowly. "Park came from a recommendation from our new scout," he finally replied.
"Scout?" McNeil narrowed his eyes. "When did we get a new scout?"
Reinhart dispyed the scout's face and profile on the screen. At that moment, Reina looked very surprised. Her face suddenly became still and stiff. A person she knew very well appeared on the screen. Reinhart then officially introduced Min Sung.
Reinhart continued, "And now, I will read out the winter transfer target list. Two main names: Owen Valerio, who is just waiting for talks with me, and one Crewe Alexandra pyer who has already agreed to join."
He also opened the report from their scout, Min Sung. He hadn't had time to read it before.
There were five names:
Ren Shibasaki (16, CB, Japan) – "Big body. Unlike other Japanese youths. Cost €2,000. Must buy."
Jesah Bakali (13, CF, Kenya/France) – "Discovered through connections in Kenya. Cost €0. Must get."
Han Shaobo (17, CB, China) – "Overlooked by any club. Talented. Cost €0."
Chinedu Okoye (17, CB, Nigeria) – "201 cm. Extraordinary physique. Pys in the Scottish League Four, Spartans FC. Cost €30,000. Must buy."
Gregor Lennox (18, CMF, Scotnd) – "Good rotation for Eden. Cost €20,000."
The room fell silent. Several staff exchanged gnces. Skeptical.
"None of them are famous," McNeil whispered. "Two of them are even just reserve pyers in the Scottish League Four."
However, Reinhart still looked at the report seriously, as if remembering something.
As the video clips of the young pyers pyed, Beatrice dropped her clipboard. Her gaze sharpened.
"Coach..." she murmured, "didn't you say our scout was still an amateur? But the pyers he found... they're not ordinary."
Everyone turned to Beatrice.
"Gems," she said firmly. "He found gems."
Reinhart smiled slightly.
"That's right, Beatrice. Min Sung is a monster... another monster finder."
He stood up from his chair, looking at Cassandra. "Immediately prepare the administration to bring them in. Secure Jesah Bakali and Han Shaobo first. They are not yet under contract; we can take them directly before the transfer window."
Cassandra nodded quickly, noting the order.
"And Min Sung?" Reina finally asked.
"He's currently in Brazil. He said he'll go to Argentina after that."
The meeting continued, now focusing on the upcoming match schedule. Reinhart stood in front of the board, writing two important dates.
"Port Vale and Wigan," he said. "Two top teams."
Port Vale was in second pce, only two points below Bradford. Undefeated, they were only two points behind. Port Vale 25 and Bradford City 27.
"If we lose... our top position will colpse," said Reinhart. "That must not happen. We must be an undefeated team, from the first round to the end of the season."
However, fielding the main pyers for the match against Port Vale would make them tired for the FA Cup match.
Wigan. A true monster from League One.
Reinhart opened their data on the screen. Five defenders. All over 185 cm. A solid defense like a wall.
"They are not only big," he said softly, "but disciplined and have high stamina. Like diesel engines that never die."
He pyed a recording of a Wigan match. In one scene, just three touches... and the ball was in the net.
"Fast. Direct. Deadly," he murmured.
Their midfield was ordinary. But that's what was deceptive. The opponents were careless, and they scored goals from small, unexpected spaces.
Their two strikers... big, fast, and ferocious.
Just one gap... is enough.
Reinhart looked at everyone in the room. "We will face a monster... in the body of a third-tier team."
Cassandra then turned, her smile small but full of confidence. "But we have something they don't have."
Reinhart looked at her, his eyebrows raised. "What?"
"You."
For a moment, the room was silent. Then Reinhart smiled slightly. The other meeting participants also showed their belief that even though they faced this difficult situation, Reinhart would be able to overcome it.
"That's right," he said, rising from his seat and looking at the staff. He spoke confidently, even though his face was as ft as usual. However, this time he smiled a little.
"There is the most terrifying variable in Bradford right now. And that is myself."
With that, the meeting ended, and Bradford's steps began to strengthen further.
