August 26, 2025University of Bradford Stadium.20,000 Bradford supporters roared—this was a crucial match, where they faced one of the strongest teams in League 2 this season. The cheers and chants from the supporters were electric. Thanks to their outstanding performance in the st three matches, crushing their opponents, the home fans were more motivated and optimistic than ever. Some supporters began chanting the pyers' names to encourage them.
Meanwhile, inside the dressing room, the pyers looked tense. It was only natural, as today they would face a very strong team. But amid the tension, Reinhart’s voice rang out:"Today is a very important match. You’re no longer facing weak teams. You’re up against a very strong side.""But no matter how strong they are, remember one thing. You are no longer a weak team. Be confident—you will win."
With those words, Reinhart and his pyers walked out, ready to fight the real battle.
[Commentator 1]:"Welcome to the fourth round of League 2! Today is a crucial day for Bradford City, the team that was once predicted to be relegated but is now on fire—winning their st three matches in dominating fashion and now sitting at the top of the table. Today, they'll be pying an offensive 4-2-2-2 formation.Goalkeeping duties are entrusted to Mark Johnson. In defense, the right fnk is covered by Lucas Lecir. At center-back, we have the veteran duo of Conrad Walsh and Thomas Rhield, and on the left side, the ever-reliable Mike Langkhsear, who’s been in top form for the st three matches, retains his spot.In midfield, Ismael Boukari and Eden Mirza return as the central duo. On the left wing, we have Duvant, and in the middle, the pairing of Lucien Ito—who impressed during pre-season—and the lethal striker Matias Alvez, currently the top scorer with 11 goals in just 3 matches. And on the right wing, Koji Yamane repces Harry Shalked, who is being rested tonight."
[Commentator 2]:"On the other side, AFC Wimbledon is no pushover. These two giants are currently sitting at the top of the table.Wimbledon sticks to their signature offensive 3-4-3 formation. In goal is the towering Alfie Marwick.Their back three: Leroy Ntambwe on the left, Callum Drexler in the center, and Jeroen van Halst on the right. The midfield is packed with energy: Emmanuel Adebiran on the left, the creative duo of Dante Brooks and Leo van Cleeff in the middle, and on the right, the dangerous Mateo Krcic, known for his sharp crosses. And up front—the terrifying attacking trio:On the left, Mikhail Sharapov with his deadly long shots. In the center, penalty box predator Daniel Scott. And on the right, the talented young Japanese pyer, Takefusa Kato, known for his lightning dribbles and killer instinct.Coach Harold Hinsley is sticking with his trademark strategy tonight.”
[Commentator 1]:“Without further ado, let’s see—can AFC Wimbledon overtake Bradford at the top, or will Bradford solidify their lead even more?Let’s kick off the first half!”
The whistle blows to start the match. Bradford immediately pys their trademark short-passing game. Eden, the midfield maestro, begins to read the flow of the game.Meanwhile, on the bench, Reinhart is analyzing the opposing team's four most dangerous threats:
Name: Mateo KrcicAge: 27Position: RMFPotential: 80Rating: 80Speed: 90 / 90Physical: 67 / 67Technique: 74 / 74
Name: Mikhail SharapovAge: 28Position: LWFPotential: 81Rating: 81Speed: 91 / 91Physical: 69 / 69Technique: 73 / 73
Name: Daniel ScottAge: 30Position: CFPotential: 83Rating: 83Speed: 79 / 79Physical: 82 / 82Technique: 86 / 86Skill: Phenomenal Finisher
Name: Takefusa KatoAge: 18Position: RWFPotential: 91Rating: 84Speed: 94 / 95Physical: 70 / 85Technique: 78 / 87Skill: Full Acceleration
After looking at these pyer stats, Reinhart is stunned by the sheer speed of Mateo and Takefusa. They’re incredibly fast—Lucas wouldn’t be able to match them.
And sure enough, right after the whistle, AFC Wimbledon's right wing turns into a nightmare for Bradford. With their pace, Mateo and Takefusa made Lucas look helpless. In the first 15 minutes, it was clear Lucas couldn’t handle their speed and aggression.
"LUCAS! FOCUS!" shouted Conrad Walsh, Bradford’s veteran captain, from the back. But Lucas could only nod quickly, his legs trembling as painful memories of past injuries crept in.
Due to Lucas’s inability to contain Mateo and Takefusa, Duvant had to drop back and help defend. Even Ismael joined the effort to fortify the left side.Meanwhile, Bradford’s right side was retively safe, thanks to Mike’s improving form. He consistently stopped Mikhail’s movements, forcing Wimbledon to switch their attacks to Bradford’s left side.
But the more time passed, the heavier Lucas’s legs felt. Mateo, seeing this, began deliberately body-checking Lucas, knocking him to the ground repeatedly.Lucas’s poor performance became increasingly apparent—his shirt soaked in sweat, covered in dirt, and his injured leg now throbbing again.
Then came the moment that broke his spirit. It started with a long pass from Dante to Bradford’s left side, nding far from Takefusa.A normal fullback would have cleared that ball easily. But not Lucas—not with his injury history.
The ball was 8 meters ahead of him.He saw Takefusa sprinting toward it.But the old pain in his leg returned. It felt heavy and weak as he tried to chase it down.
"Just a little more, come on..."No matter how hard he tried, he couldn’t make it.The ball was snatched away by Takefusa, who immediately accelerated past Thomas before unleashing a powerful shot that deflected off Mark’s leg and into the net.
[Commentator 1]:“GOALLL! THE FIRST GOAL FOR AFC WIMBLEDON!”
[Commentator 2]:“Brilliant—Lucas Lecir failed to clear the ball, and Takefusa punished him for it. What a promising prospect for AFC Wimbledon.”
Lucas fell to his knees, devastated by his mistake.Five minutes ter, another error from Lucas led to Mateo stealing the ball and assisting Daniel Scott to make it 0–2.
Lucas closed his eyes in shame, tuning out the supporters' voices out of fear of being jeered—just like in his old team.
In that despair, Conrad approached him and yelled:“Get up, you crazy bastard! Don’t shut your eyes, and don’t block your ears. Look and listen to them!”
He pointed to the VIP stands where a little girl stood—someone Lucas knew very well.
“BIG BROTHER YOU’RE AMAZING!! YOU’RE THE BEST!!”Her voice cut through the stadium noise like a lightning bolt.A little bck-haired girl with bright blue eyes held up a paper with Lucas’s photo on it, beaming with pride.
Lucas froze. His hands clenched—not in anger, but from overflowing emotion. His eyes met Reinhart’s, who gave him a subtle nod, as if to say:“She’s watching you. Show her your best.”
And in that moment...The world stopped spinning
