Shanaka, everywhere. Unnatural creatures, parasites of Toufala with no mind of their own. All they could do was take and devour, leaving nothing behind to replace what they took, nothing to grow. Some humans and dwarves were like this, but others were not. William cut trees, but he planted seeds to help nature continue to flourish. Jakka had no problem with this. It is seen all the time in nature. Predators eat prey, but most creatures have a symbiotic relationship, a give and take. Shanaka did not, and as such, they were not welcome here.
Kor’tish had been busy destroying as many Shanaka as possible to keep them from harming Toufala, but Kor’tish had not noticed when Tammy got hurt. Kor’tish only looked because smoke was in the air. Small human was bleeding on the floor from the head and arms, and Kor’tish knows humans were not like jakka. They do not heal, and Tammy would die from those wounds because humans were fragile. Immediately, Kor’tish ran over as fast as possible with great might. First, Kor’tish used connection to Toufala to create water, dousing the fire as quickly as possible, then Kor’tish cut hand and let the blood flow to Tammy’s mouth while chanting a ceremonial song of the ancestors. The small human’s wounds were healing almost as fast as the wound on the hand of Kor’tish, even when blood stopped flowing to human’s mouth. Kor’tish continued to chant and shake scented rattles near small human, channeling the elders of the jakka that lived long ago, who had a powerful connection to Toufala. Only a few seconds later and Tammy’s eyes opened wide, as the human gasped deeply for air. That was good, but now Kor’tish had to stop the Shanaka from spreading their disease. Kor’tish picked up the spears, ready to meet the two Shanaka that charged, eagerly asking for death. And so it happened.

“Toufala ban dumi!” In less than a second, Kor’tish impaled both of the pitiful creatures, lifting them off the ground and sending them back to where they came. More ran about in the near distance, most being devoured by friends of Kor’tish, but others roaming free still. Kor’tish flung the spears at them, the power of Toufala destroying them on impact. One after the other began to fall, as Kor’tish threw with perfect precision. Very soon, there were no more Shanaka.
